This is by far the worst whataburger I’ve been to. Ever. It takes forever to order even if there are only two people in line And the wait for the food is even longer. I don’t mind waiting if everything is fresh but my food was cold. Not only that but they messed up the whole order. forgot to put ice in our drinks… the buns where dry and soggy sooo gross. I don’t normally care to review places but this one is so bad… so terribly bad…

I don’t know why but the drive though at this location is incredibly slow! I have been multiple times and it takes forever even when it’s not that busy. Food has always been fine though and the staff is nice enough.

Go east of 35. Now go further east. And a littttttle bit more. Welcome! You’ve arrived at the food desert of MLK and airport. It’s a bizarro stretch of the city that only has a Taco Cabana, a Whataburger, a Popeye’s and a Sonic. As I stare down at the meat pucks in front of me, I realize I made the worst decision of those four. Me: «I’ll have a whataburger, no meal, extra pickles, extra jalapenos, no onions» Him: «Double whataburger with a meal, no pickles, extra onions?» Me: «No meal. No onions. Single burger. Extra pickles» Him: «Burger, pickles, no onions. Do you want to add jalapenos?» Me:(through gritted teeth) Yes. Please. Anyway, I was starving and this was food. Kind of. It’s so sad and dry and crumbly and weird. The only thing keeping it from inedibility is the ketchup — because as we know, Whataburger has the best ketchup.

I’ve been resigned to eat at this location so often because it’s literally down the street from me. Why do I keep going, you ask? Because late-night taquitos and honey-butter-chicken-biscuit goodness. But(no idea why!!!) they are so. slow. It doesn’t matter if you’re ordering inside the store or driving thru, there’s a minimum 10 – 15 minute wait for your food after you’ve managed to get to the order counter. I was going to give this place only 2 stars but it’s Whataburger and its Texas and it’s still decently delicious. So, I guess I’ll see you soon.

It’s Whataburger so what are you expecting? As far as fast burgers go, I had a good experience and the staff has always been pleasant. If I grade this location based on their excellent grilled chicken sandwich I’d have to give them 5 stars for getting cooked right. Not every Whataburger gets this right every time.

I’m not sure how I get a stale burger that’s not warm during the busy part of lunch. The only good thing during my visit to this location was the lady behind the counter, I think her name was Danielle. The other young lady was not friendly at all. Now that I’m back at work with my stale burger I better get back to work. Thanks Whataburger!

This location is crap. Drive through line was ridiculous, ordered a patty melt and large fries, waited about 15 – 20 minutes. The employee was friendly but making excuses, said they put down a fresh order of onion rings, but when I received my order, the onion rings were ICECOLD, and stuck together, the patty melt was okay, nothing to write home about, looked like it was slopped together but at least it was warm? It was greasy, the wrapping was shiny and the grease seeped through the paper. A disappointing first Whataburger experience from this location, next time I’m back in Texas I’ll give another location another try, and the Honey butter Chicken Biscuit breakfast item comes highly recommended, I wonder how it compadres to Chik-fil-A

I have been a Whataburger fan for 10 years and now I will never visit another Whataburger again. I have been here probably 10 times and I’m just fed up at this point. Probably 8 of the 10 times was a 15 – 20 minute wait for my meal. At least half the time they got the order wrong. Seriously, how does a store like this stay open. THISSTORENEEDSTOHAVEITSFRANCHISELICENSEREVOKED. Horribly understaffed, the food comes out wrong and cold, and all they can do is tell me how understaffed they are. I don’t care. Once or twice I might forgive but every time means I will not eat there ever again and Whataburger the company has lost a once-loyal fan. HORRIBLEHORRIBLEHORRIBLE.

I usually love Whataburger but this location needs some serious retraining and change of management. The line is always long just like other Whataburgers but this one takes WAY more time to get orders out. I spent 20 minutes in line in the drive-thru before deciding to leave because not a single car had moved. The burgers are sloppy and the fries are always way over salted. Also, there is no difference in the amount of fries you get if you Whatasize it you just get the big container half full. That is not all, make sure to check your order every time because we always get wrong a wrong order even after the sweet time it takes them to get it to us. I really hope this changes because it seems everyone has had bad experiences here. Not the Whataburger I know and love.

Terrible service messed up my order and Of course it was my girlfriends food, the most important one, ended up waiting an additional hour after returning to the store for the rest of my food… by the time I got home the rest of my food was cold and disgusting if I wanted an hour and a half dining experience is go to a fucking steakhouse

Don’t waste your time! Drive to any other whataburger in a 5 mile radius and it will still be faster than this understaffed location. It took over 20 minutes to get someone to acknowledge my presence at the drive thru. It was so bad people were just leaving the drive-thru line.

So we decided on the drive-thru option. Upon giving our order, the outgoing sound quality of the speaker sounded terrible making it barely audible. But the customer service was still friendly and professional. The wait was appropriate given that the burgers are always served fresh instead of lingering under a heating element. We ordered two combo meals and immediately sampled the French fries on the way home. The first combo meal came with flawless golden fries, cooked to a crisp perfection and nicely salted. The second combo meal came with fries that were limp, slightly soggy, cold, and darker in color indicating that they came from a previous batch. However, the burgers came out good with a nice proportion of meat, cheese to bun and toppings ratio as always. This was a decent location for a quick burger fix.

Service is absolutely horrible. It’s taken them over 10 minutes to get me a shake and apple pie. There’s only one other car in front of me :/

Food is good, prices are decent. I have been coming here for a bit because I live in the area. Let me start by saying I like Whataburger food and this place is no different. I think for the price it will be a better food quality thank your typical fast good chain. With that said I have has some less attractive meals here. Cold Food is one of the issues we have had here using the drive through. Not usually the burger but the fries are about 50⁄50 if they are fresh or not. Long waits is the other problem that we have usually. It could take anywhere from 10 – 20 minutes in some cases to get your food so if there is already a long line I wouldn’t recommend stopping. You might do better going inside if they are open but I don’t know for sure. Portion sizes are a definite plus because the quality of food is good. I feel like you get a rather large burger and fries, or salad, chicken sandwich, etc. for the $ 5 – 8 price you pay for your meal. Taste is the last thing I would say is solid. I haven’t had anything that tasted bad from here. My kids and my wife are always satisfied(for the most part) with whatever we eat, so I think that’s a win. With that said I think the overall value is good. We wouldn’t keep going if it wasn’t good, and my family of four eats here for about $ 20. The quantity and quality are a good match so I would recommend this place, so long as your not in much of a hurry.

I love Whataburger, service at this one wasn’t that great. Seems the guy at the counter couldn’t understand us. We asked for extra onions, and there was no onions! Such a simple request. Ohhh well, the burgers are really good, and I will stop by one of these establishments everytime I’m in the area.

Although the people there are nice and super friendly. The food was atrocious. We stopped here because someone said«you have to try their burgers!» Nasty. Cold. Stale tasting. Yuck.

It’s a Whataburger. If you are a Texan, you probably know what that means, then. Decent burgers with lots of combinations to choose from. This location had very good fries, the requisite decent burger, and from what I heard, really awful iced tea. I had lemonade, so I can’t say for sure. The staff is really nice, and they bring you ketchup and stuff. We had employees check with us twice to see if we were OK, which is pretty amazing for a fast food joint. But it is still a fast food joint.
