I held off on trying this place for a long time, but the kids I take care of finally convinced me to go. I’ve been to similar places in the past like Orange Leaf in Columbus, and I’m just usually not that impressed. It’s good but not«great.» Well, I’m so glad I finally tried Menchie’s! I think the flavor variety is good and unique. Most places have the typical ones like chocolate peanut butter, cake batter, etc., but Menchie’s had flavors like original tart, lime mint sorbet, and toasty marshmallow(my personal fav.) I was really impressed with the taste, but also the fact that they have nutritional info on the wall. They tell you calories per 4 oz, and which ones are low or no sugar, dairy free, low fat, etc. They also have a great selection of fruit, so if you’re watching your cals you can definitely make it work here. I however was not trying to be healthy on my visit, so I put cookie dough, caramel sauce, marshmallow sauce, and Butterfinger on mine, and it was seriously delicious. I’m pretty picky about cookie dough in ice cream, and I was pleasantly surprised w/the quality.(If you’re a cookie dough person you know what I mean.) I also liked that they had things like whipped cream and chocolate covered strawberries. Now, on to the location. I usually take the kiddos to the Fairview Park location, which I have to say is a bit nicer than Avon, surprisingly. The Avon store feels significantly bigger, but it also seems barren and empty. It also appeared that they didn’t have as many fresh fruit toppings as Fairview Park, but maybe it was an off day. Also, at Fairview Park there is a chalkboard, Menchie’s merchandise to buy(shirts, dodge ball, pencils, etc.), and it just seems more lively in there. They also always have the music playing at a noticeable level(not obnoxiously though.) At Avon it just seemed very empty and plain. Now don’t get me wrong, the employees were nice(a bit nicer than Fairview Park actually), but it was not as exciting as the other location. So I think I’d definitely prefer to take the kids to the Fairview Park location, while my husband and I are content coming to this quieter location. The quality is good at both locations, and both locations are pretty clean. We really like Menchie’s and I would definitely recommend it.

Went to this place for the first time Friday night. I was underwhelmed. The flavors were very limited. The vanilla tasted like milk ice. The toppings were very messy and it was kind of hard to tell which flavor was which. After going to yogurt shops in California this ship is seriously lacking. Probably will never go back.

Nice selection of frozen yogurt. Love the«crunch coat» crunches and the cheesecake square toppers. The cookies and cream flavor is great. Wish the prices were a bit lower. Would love to see some more fun flavored. Also would love to see some specials.

Menchies! Wow what a place. All the hype from Cali and celebrities. Well I know I am hip into this Swirl. I feel like a fat kid again battling through all the toddlers, pre-teens, and Teens to get to me favorite toppings. What a clever concept, Fun colors, great music, Frozen yogurt(a healthy alternative) and great customer service. I mean I know its no Clevelands own Honey Hut or Mitchells but it is in its own winning category. Stark enterprises you already have Ironman let me get in on your little profiting secret you have going on with Menchies.

Another one of those place I just don’t get. Maybe it I were 12 years old and didn’t care about quality and price. I tried three different flavors, chocolate, vanilla, and peanut butter, with my eyes closed they all tasted the same(flavorless). Lots of descent desert toppings to help cover that up. Price 49 cents a oz. adds up quickly. I could of bought a pint of a excellent, high quality frozen dessert(ice-cream, gelato, sorbet) for the price of this mediocre at best, frozen product. I understand it is self service, but it would have been nice to be greeted by someone and had any question answered if needed. I did not see anyone around until I was standing there waiting to pay.

We have been here multiple time, the sad thing is that the place is small so it gets filled quickly. With the employees very helpless, customers are left to do pretty much what they want including having to clean up the mess from other patrons. I like the selection they have, and the favors are good. It’s just kind of messy and small/crowded. If they were In a larger location with more helpful staff it would be a 4+ But, we will still go back.

Ok what’s not to like! Self serve frozen yogurt, more toppings than you can count and a friendly staff! The only thing I might suggest is ask for a few sample cups and try a few flavors before you fill up your cup, this way you don’t have to fill that cup up as much! Trust me when you bring that cup up to the register all filled up with the wonderful goodies of your choice you definitely may get a surprise! The first time I took my boys I let them serve themselves and 18 bucks later I am filling them up for them, yes you pay by weight so be careful when you fill up. Overall it’s a nice place to enjoy some very tasty treats.

Every teens and pre teens battle cry. MENCHIES. The pediatricians must be putting menchies chips in the vacines cause every kid loves this place. As Cavs owner Dan Gilberts son says«Whats not to love«. Frozen soft serve yogurt with all the toppings and you make it yourself with whatever combination of the 20 or so flavors they offer. Great selection from all the choc, straw standards to no sugar added no carb praline there is something here everyone can enjoy. Nice touch with the small sample cups that can be used to determine what you like. Not once have I ever been told enough with the samples from the staff, even after five samples. Just took the family there tonight and the deep sea blueberry was right on. You get a coupon to the aquarium with a two dollar purchase of the stuff so load up. Why not a five star… When they come out with a x-mas ale yogurt a la mitchells then they get the upgrade!

Just when I was finally psyching my self up fr a low-carb New year’s diet, I discovered that they had put a Menchie’s up less than 5 minutes from my house. Thanks. Thanks a lot. The sweetie flavors are lovely, the crunchy toppings, divine. The mushy stuff is wonderful, and the sauces are fine, fine, fine. But reviews of some other locations made me curious about the tart flavors. Tart frozen yogurt? Hmmm. Luckily, or diabolically, they have little tasting cups. You can taste anything you like before you buy it. I tried orange tart flavor. Dang. That did it. I am off South Beach before I even started.
