#BringAFlySwatter BUT besides that the enchiladas & chile verde were delicious! I would recommend this joint especially if you want good tasting Mexican Food! Good FRIENDLY Service! I will definitely be back when I’m in Bakersfield Carolina & Hilda are some great employees. Ask them for anything & they got you covered.

Visited this place on an afternoon saturday… had the Chile verde plate… it was good… took it to go. but while inside… lol…so dam loud!!! Girls behind the counter where helpful and pleasant… and the other staff were hustling… no problems going back

Came on a Monday night and was in drive-​thru and waited about 7 minutes before someone took our order. Note: there was one car at the pick up window and like 2 cars in the entire parking lot. After multiple «helloooossss» someone finally took our order with no apologies for the wait. Not only that, but when we ordered carnitas tacos we were told, «we don’t have carnitas.» Again, no apologies. Customer service could use improvement. But I must say the tacos were very good and they did not skimp on the meat. We got ended up getting carnitas and lengua tacos.

Consistently good food. I’ve never gotten anything I didn’t like here. The steak nachos are enough to be a meal for 2 big eaters. If you get them to go, ask them to separate the chips from the rest and you’ll have everything crispy and fresh when you get home. No soggy chips! The chili verde, chili colorado and steak chimichangas are all good choices. My favorite dishes tho are the steak fajita platter or burrito. Good portions of meat. And not the fatty, gristly stuff you find elsewhere. The burrito is decently sized. The platter easily comes to 1 ½ lbs with the steak, green peppers, and onions along with a side of refried beans and rice with guacamole and sour cream on top and 3 or 4 tortillas. Woof! Enough for two or lunch the next day.
The restaurant is clean and the staff is always friendly. Air-​conditioned on the inside and there is limited seating outside.

Soft carne asada taco — generous amount of tender freshly cooked meet. Delicious ⁵⁄₅
Hard shredded beef taco — I’ve never had a crunchy/​hard taco at an authentic Mexican food spot. Was delicious. The taco shell was fresh they threw some cheese into the taco really really good. And the shredded beef was delicious. Highly recommend! ⁵⁄₅
Fish taco — disappointing. The fish was the breaded frozen fish you can buy at a super market. The toppings were fresh and generous but couldn’t get over the poor fish don’t get it ²⁄₅
Service was tremendous. Cashier made suggestions and was knowledgable about the menu and contents of each order.
Prices are great. The interior is old but that gives it character!

Great tacos! So glad they’re near-​by and have a drive through.

Really Really wanna give 4 stars. Just wanna. This place been here 20 plus years. Huge street Tacos. Good prices. Ordering street Tacos. Their Hot Salsa from their SalsaBar is really hot! The Mild Salsa is very flavorful. I like mixing both salsa. Good marinade on Pastor. Carne Asada meat is plain’ish or light flavored.
Need to try Carnitas street taco or plate. Mexican customer, nice man with his family, said Carnitas Plate is huge and will fill a man and a half.
Ok. I confess. Im a El Taco Loco foodie. Their Pastor beens Flaaaaaaaaat this last couple years. Not marinated. But their Carne Asada been OK to Great. Well marinated sometimes. That Truck been making horrible burritos. Drove me to try Los Tacos again after 15 – 20 years.
Just went up and ordered a Carnitas street taco. Haha. But my mind is really on their Shrimp Plates.
Ok! Carnitas Taco all dressed up Bite #1. Wow flavorful. Wow moist. Wow so much meat thats Mucho Pork

Receint Unilocal’R said this place is better than it was years ago. Yeah. Its true. I ate here lots 15 plus years ago. LOL. Inside Los Tacos still looks the same. Guess thier cooks have perfected some foods. For me thats Al Pastor. Carnitas. Although my Fav Carnitas is Panchos Mexican Restuarant Fletcher Pkw in San Diego
To be clear. Los Tacos is no super fancy restuarant. But if you have Moughs to feed, Don’t want to over spend, Want Yummy Food… enjoy yourselves… no need to fancy all up dressing then Los Tacos is a go to place. Heck. Even Unilocal Elite 15’s likes this place by their 5 stars review. Wible location!!!

Photo Late Night Fix. And their hours open. Also saw peoples eating outside in their patio. With trees!!! This being the second time visit… with INFATUATION Over. What do I think of foods so far? Outstanding. Fantastic. Especially with two salsa indulged. Finalizing review to 5 Stars… the Al Pastor is deep marinated and love the slightly burnt edge meat flavor. Peoples would Enjoy every bite of the Carnitas.

The Carnitas is very fresh. Smoky flavor on the darker
Carnitas choppings. Very moist. With juices. The rice is fluffy. Tomatoe base. Brought some Cinco Limones salsa (Bakersfield eastside) with me to try on Los Taco tacos. Cinco L salsas is more sprite. Los Taco’s salsa is rich and deep and so wonderful on their foods. Los Tacos wins. Solidly.
Update. Had the huge Carnitas plate. Taste great, fresh. Pork had crisp. Some approaching near dry. Obviously not a reciently cooked pork. But quite Tasty. Test pork by buying Carnitas Taco first recommended
Update. This Visit 9pm LT just average tasying tacos, a let down. Tho meat quantity lots. Lowering LT to 3.75 stars reflecting value (did see 12 cars in front). Didnt bother to Unilocal pic. Nothing special whatsoever. I’ve had taco truck food that taste 10x better and they are cheaper. The ingredients aren’t fresh and the food is not prepared fresh. It was sloppy but what do you expect from a cheap Mexican joint. I only ate it because my sister paid for it and I did not want her money to go to waste. You can tell they microwaved some of the food because of several reasons: first, it was extremely hot, hotter than any regularly cooked food, second, they finished our order within minutes, it takes longer to actually make real food and there were a lot of people, third the edges of the beans were burnt just like when you microwave food and the edges get hard, and finally I didn’t see too much cooking going on as you can see part of the kitchen. Taste was terrible and I’m Mexican American so I can tell the difference. Probably one of the worst I’ve been to. Their customer service was below average. I asked to upgrade my drink from regular soda to agua fresca (yes different prices) but they wanted to charge me an extra $ 1. The soda costs $ 1.79 for a really small cup (ripoff) and the agua fresca was $ 1.89 but you can’t serve yourself. So instead of paying an extra $.10 they asked for $ 1 because apparently a refill is $.75 and with tax it comes out to a $ 1. Girl stay in school. That’s my tip for you. I had just bought my cup less than a minute and didn’t even put any soda in it but they wanted to charge an extra $ 1. Salsa was not good. Veggies were the worst. I wish I had gone to in n out which is cheaper and worth the money.

This place has huge portions! Was on our way from Yosemite and needed to refuel again, and we found this place via Unilocal.Pretty cheap and huge servings!
We ordered:
–enchiladas
— chicken tostada bowl
–steak quesadilla
We couldn’t finish the chicken bowl or the steak quesadilla! Definitely a good local hole in the wall Mexican shop.

My wife and I went here and we thought it was okay. I recommend the tostada supreme with shredded beef (very delicious). My wife got the 2+2 (2 tacos & 2 burritos). The tacos were good, but the bean and cheese burritos had more cheese than beans. Not bad overall.

My boyfriend and I really like this place,
We both usually get cheese enchiladas, and they’re delicious. The portions are pretty big hough, I usually don’t finish it all. Almost every time we go it’s nice and quiet, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy your food.

My go to place for great Mexican food!
It may not look like much but the food here is great. Whenever I feel like eating mexican food for my work lunch I come here because the service is always great and fast. The prices are cheap compared to the portion size, which in my opinion are huge. They do offer lunch specials that include a drink for less than $ 7. Their food does not lack in flavor, and I have yet to get anything that I don’t like. If you are in a rush they do have a drive-​thru. If you use a card, they do make a 50 cent charge on orders under $ 5.

Meh. This place was not that great.
I got the bean and cheese burrito which was huge but didn’t taste amazing. We had to buy some chips and salsa which were ok. They have a salsa bar which had some good salsas. I’m not sure what my husband got but he wasn’t too impressed with his meal either.
I don’t think I would come back.

The beef tacos only had cilantro on it. Pretty boring. I was looking to have a party in my mouth. Nevertheless, the tacos weren’t that bad. I put the hot and mild salsas thay offer you which gave it a little flavor. I believe I read someone’s Unilocal review that there was some gristle in the taco. Yes, that was true, but not a great deal and I ordered 2 tacos and it was just in 1.
The drive thru offers courteous service but remember if you use you charge cards it’s a $.50 charge.

This place is soo good and so are the prices. I go there at least 1 a week. Everything i have ordered there was Terrific. Never disappointed and the staff there is awesome! They go above and beyond what is expected of them. I would definitely recommend Los Tacos to everyone. Once you try it you will be going back for sure.

I think I’ve found my new go-​to mexican spot. There was a place I loved by my house that got shut down so I’ve been searching for a good replacement. I like Los Tacos because everything they serve is good. The chile verde was good! I wish it was more spicy but it was still good nonetheless. The carne asada is good as well. I’ve also had their beans & rice, taquitos, quesadillas, tacos & burritos. All great, for a great price.

Well I’ve been on my quest for that perfect street taco I thought I’d drop by to have lunch yesterday. I ordered 1 of 4 tacos, lengua, carnitas, asada & adobada. They cost the same as Daves tacos, but major difference in size. They were slightly bigger and stuffed with meat with onions and cilantro. The lengua was the first one I tried, it was amazing! The carnitas one wasn’t bad but wasn’t great it was not very flavorful and a little dry. The asada taco was pretty decent I didn’t find any grisle or fat in it. The adobada well that one I wasn’t too fond of. I could see I had leftovers because the pieces of meat had been fried and refried several times where they were crunchy. A tip to you ladies don’t wear low cut shirt, juice and taco meat will land in your chest lol
But overall not bad experience I think I will just do the lengua tacos because they were very good. They serve HUGE portions too, I saw other people’s orders massive burritos! Check this place out you might find something you like

Yes Alton Brown, Anne Burrell, Aaron Sanchez, there are better galaxies in the universe of Mexican food. I’ve had much worse chile verde and frijoles in places touting themselves as so much better than Mexi-​fast. The salsas in Los Tacos salsa bar were good, the cilantro y limon very fresh, the price right and location perfect.
I’ve gotta run, the zombies are about to catch me. Got 4,000,000 pounds of pistachios?
