I used to come here all the time when It was tacos la villa, and I was so sad when they took it down… but I decided to try this place… it’s amazing!!! I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito! it was hot, fresh, delicious!!! The staff was friendly and fast! I’ll definitely be coming back!!!

I love this place they have the best and most refreshing lemonade and there menudo, and carne asada nachos are delicious one of my favorite taco spots to eat at. I definitely recommend it.

I don’t understand why this has 3 star rating? I used to come to this location when it was la villa, same cooks, different look! This place is always clean when i come, no matter what time, always a friendly welcome with whoever walks through the door. Today, this woman dropped her soda when walking out, you could tell she was having a bad day. she started to clean up her mess and one of the workers quickly stopped her and they cleaned it up and gave her a new full soda, how nice was that! anyways, the food here is real good, I got their carne asada fries, which could easily be a meal in itself or share with someone (fresh cut potatoes) they were really good! I also had their «crispy tacos»
!!! i could eat those all day, This place is one of my first choices when getting some quick mexican food.

The tacos were good. Not greasy as most other places. The sauce was so good though. I really really loved the sauce they use on the tacos. Definitely going back as im area wanting more! And the hours are awesome for late night cravings!

Always have loved this place even when it was the old name and building. They have managed to keep their quality of taste in all the food they serve. Some times when it’s busy you may have to wait so suggest calling in an order 10 – 15 mins before pick up. If you like authentic Mexican tacos with spice this is the place to eat. Hands down best carne asada in the bakersfield town.

The food is good, but the wait is ridiculous. It took 30 minutes+ in the drive through the first time, only 2 Cars in front of me, but I thought I’d give it another try. Sat in the drive through for 15 with again only 2 Cars in front of me when the guy in front me tells Me He was there 10min before me. I backed out of the drive through and left, as did he. I also watched 2 people walk in and immediately walk out. It’s a shame because the food was good, I’ll probably try again, but just a warning you might have to wait.

I stopped by this restaurant on my way home from the mall. We went though the drive thru and the wait was so long. (Luckily, I had a few messages to reply to, so that kept me busy ;)
I purchased tacos de asada and one carne al pastor. The taco al pastor was very salty. I don’t think I’ll order that one again. The asada tacos on the other hand were great! What surprised me most was their cleanliness and accuracy. The tacos were individually wrapped and neatly arranged. Also, the food came out just as I ordered it. I had a car full of different tastes, and I was happy to receive my order correctly!
With this being said, thumbs up from everyone in the car for the asada tacos! I’ll definitely go back to try more from their menu.

My mom absolutely LOVES the menudo from this place. The service is nice and everyone is very kind. Their speaker in the drive thru is LOUD and clear! That’s a first for me in drive thru’s! I’d dock them a star though because their tacos were a hit and miss for me. I ordered four chicken tacos with all the fix-​ins, and half of then were soggy, oily, and making everything fall apart, whereas the other half were A okay!

I’ve ate here twice, an both times it was disappointing. Both times my food was cold, and the second time they shorted me 5 tacos. There isn’t anything more annoying than getting home an not having enough food. Driving back to get the missing items ruins the rest of the food because it gets cold an soggy. I don’t recommend this place at all. I wanted to like it, which is why I went back a second time. Don’t waste your money.

Figured since it was closer than Los Tacos, we’d give it a try. They didn’t give much thought to the parking lot layout, as once drive-​thru is packed, parked cars are boxed in.
Food was to be expected. not that great.
The result, my boyfriend and I no longer have nose hair, and I’m pretty sure I killed the taste buds on both our tongues from the amount of gas I passed. My boyfriend threatened to kick me out.

Me and my boyfriend come here often and one of our favorite things about it is that it has a drive-​thru. So far I’ve tried the torta, the nachos, the sope, tacos, and their horchata and I have yet to be dissapointed. Their food taste like real Mexican food, not fake and tasteless. I say definitely give it a try.
Looks like the parking would be a hassle because the drive-​thru line, if long enough (2−3cars), can get in the way.

Wow! The carne asada burrito is amazing! Me and my girlfriend have had it 3 weeks in a row now so we know this place is the best! We always get a side of refried be a as well and they taste like the ones your awesome grandma would make!
The burrito is stuffed with meat rice beans salsa! The tacos are great as well, I’m just always craving the burrito!
Definitely must try to see for yourself. I wish I didn’t wait to long to try this place out.
5 stars for sure! The hot salsa also has a great flavor not the hottest but the taste is perfect!
I’m going to go again right now!

The food here is awesome, just got some of the tastiest menudo ever along with some large, hand made thick and soft corn tortillas. I also tasted the tacos de lengua which were way tastier than others I’ve had. Prices are very reasonable, can’t wait to come back for another round.

I’ve been back about 8 times now, and I’m consistently ordering the Toro Burrito. It’s about $ 9.50 and it’s a solid brick of carne asada awesomeness. The asada fries are still tasty and these are the best tacos in Bakersfield. It’s like having a La Villa with a drive thru, only it’s better.

Note: this place is only open until 10 pm. But the food was excellent! I had the carne asada fries and the were literally the most delicious things I’ve ever had. The fries themselves were a little well done but all of the toppings made it perfect. I’m also not usually a huge fan of asada but this was perfectly seasoned and tender. I also had a bite of a friend’s chicken taco which was delicious as well. If definitely recommend this place.

The wait was not long at all the speaker system in drive thru was so clear. The food was delicious I got the carne asada plate and it came with fresh flower tortillas and a lil salad with avocado. The salsa was good but you need to ask for extra the serving cups are very small this will be my new go-​to taco shop from now on

I’m not sure what the other reviewers are saying but it’s actually better than most of the other fast food taco shops in town.
The staff is friendly, the carne asada fries are good, the tacos are small but good, a little on the greasy side.
I’ll bump it up a star when they don’t charge me money to run the card on a $ 30 order and they have a 3 taco plate.

I will keep this review short and simple. This new taco place on Wible caught my attention since I saw it was being built. Unfortunately the parking is an issue. Vehicles waiting in line for the drive thru have to deal with vehicles pulling into the parking lot and vehicles trying to pull out of a parking space. Plus you still have to walk in between the vehicles to get inside the building. Probably better if you just park out in the street. Inside the taco place I saw all the floors and tables were clean :) service was good and food was good.
Down side they want to charge extra for almost everything. No free refills, 50¢ charge for debit/​credit card, 50¢ extra for any substitute, food portion size was a little small. I will come back here just not sure when.

Wished it had opened April 1 because the food was a joke. They had there grand opening today. They had 50¢ Asada tacos. The asada meat was well marinated but the tortillas were to bland. The red salsa has a sweet almost tangy taste to it that I was in happy about. I also had an El Pastor that tasted like something I’ve never had before and tripas I didn’t care for as much.
The horchata was good tho.
I gave it one stars for the horchata and because it was close to my house. Other then that, I won’t be returning.
