Best Pizza in town. We always get XL half chili verde half bbq chicken! My fav!!! Just took one star off because they don’t have football on need to invest in the nfl ticket so we can have pizza and beer nights there! But except for that amazing customer service and The best pizza!

I have not had Tony’s pizza in years! (mainly because of the drive) When we were craving a new pizza, we decided to take the drive to Tony’s. We ordered two large pizzas, one Hawaiian and the other pepperoni. Their pizza isn’t too greasy and had good flavor, but unfortunately I wasn’t too satisfied with their portions. Too little cheese, and too little pepperoni. the dough then seemed very thick. We paid $ 40, so I don’t see why cheese or pepperoni were lacking.

I would actually give them 3−½ stars. We were here for the third time tonight. This time there fifteen of us for an impromptu bday party. Staff was cheerful and helpful, prices were pretty good, service was fast and the food was fresh and good. As far as pizza goes I prefer Chicago-style deep dish but my budget doesn’t, especially for a large party. Tony’s crust is more less a pan pizza thickness with a nice crisp bottom. Sauce is good, too. Meats in my opinion are really good! But the very patient, cheerful staff was the best.

I’ve been going to Tonys pizza since I was a kid and now that they have this new location on Ming I go there all the time. Still the best pizza in town with great customer service every time I go in. Even if there is a mistake they will fix it in a timely matter and try to make my experience there better. Love Tonys pizza.

The pizza is okay, if not a little greasy sometimes. They have a chile verde pizza which is fun to try, but not what I want if I’m craving pizza. I like coming here with my work buddies during lunch sometimes because they have a really nice, albeit small, salad bar. Everything is always fresh and clean. The only bother is that there’s a 1-trip limit to the salad bar. They do give you a big dish, so it’s not like you’re missing out much, but sometimes I like to top a salad off mid-meal if I’m not gorging on an entire pizza.

All football season long I pick one up on the way home for the Thursday night game. Absolutely my favorite pizza place(with Magoo’s maybe a close second). Been going there since Magoo’s moved inconveniently away from me. As good as they were, Tony’s caused me to not miss them at all. Definetly NOT stingy with the toppings, very fresh, quality cheese and just the right thickness on the crust. The only mixup I ever had was dealt with courteously and generously. BTW, football season starts next week… yummy.

All of life, I’ve searched for the perfect balance between price and deliciousness. Tony’s PIZZA… is one such pizza. I started out with a small 1-topping pzza: The Mushrooms. It was delicious. Most pizza joints only put toppings in middle of the pizza or one side of it; not at Tony’s. The wedges were also a delight.

I haven’t been to a Tony’s Pizza in a veeeery long time, maybe about 17 years ago when I lived in Delano. It is located in the shopping center at the corner of Ashe and Ming near the Starbucks. This décor is decked out in dedication to our fire fighters. There are multiple booths and tables along with the standard arcade section for the kids. My mom and I ordered an XL Hawaiian that had ham, pineapple, and bell peppers. Most places don’t serve their hawaiian with bell peppers but we embraced the change. What I remember most from my childhood Tony’s Pizza was the cheese sticks(pizza sticks I guess is what they are really called) and boy did those not disappoint. Essentially it is a cheese pizza but in stick form. DELICIOUS. Our pizza was good, wasn’t the best I ever had though. There was a good ham, pineapple, and bell pepper ration going on. Personally, I think there could have been a little more pizza sauce added but I tend to be picky with my pizzas. I normally don’t enjoy eating crust but I did like theirs. Unlike other pizza places, their pizza was not super greasy and was still in good shape a few hours after taking it home. The girl that helped us order was very personable even joking with us as to why we didn’t bring her a Starbucks, since we had just gone there. She was great. Highly recommend especially if you are coming for lunch. They had an offer of a slice of pizza and a drink for $ 7. There was also an offer from Monday-Thursday for an XL one topping pizza and a pitcher/bottle of soda for $ 24.

Grew up with the original store in Delano so I was super excited when it finally opened stores in bakersfield. Best(if not the only) Chile Verde Pizza in bako. Can be a bit pricey but it’s completely worth it. I was estatic when they opened a store on ming so I don’t have to drive all the way over to California. Great wedges and salad bar, I just wish it wasn’t only one trip for salad, but I guess they have to run a business. My two favorite pizzas are the pepperoni and of course, chili verde. Great service and great family setting.

This is personally my favorite pizza in Bakersfield. We prefer it over Magoo’s and Rusty’s. Magoo’s crust and dough tends to be a bit thicker whereas Rusty’s is thinner. I usually order the veggie pizza which had tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, olives and mushrooms. All the toppings are always fresh and the pizza is made while you wait. Usually the wait is about 15 minutes for a pizza. You do have to pay for drink refills as the staff controls the drink machines. For sides, there are buffalo wings of course. The dining area is clean. In the back, there is a small partitioned area for private parties as well as arcade games on the side. There is also a small salad bar. There are two TVs with different sports channels usually running. Décor centers around firefighter paraphernalia. Seating consists of multiple booths on the periphery with several long tables in the center of the room. If you call ahead to pick up, your pizza should be ready for you in 15 – 20 minutes.

Where Mexican food and pizza give birth to a scrumptious pie: Chile Verde Pizza! It sounded kinda weird at first, but figured I’d try it since I LOVE Mexican food and pizza. The pizza was literally the best of both worlds! And the crust had a nice chew to it. We also had the Tony’s Combo, delicious as well. Tons of toppings.

Ok so I’m a fool for pizza and this is the best I’ve found on the west coast. The Chile Verde pizza will blow you away. These guys are very fast, even on weekends… never called in an order that wasn’t ready in less than 15 minutes. The staff is friendly and professional — this is a well oiled machine and very consistent.

I thought mountain Mike’s was the best pizza in Bakersfield but now that I tried Tony’s I may be singing a different tune. The BBQ chicken pizza is amazing. The customer service is outstanding and the price is a little high but well worth it. Tony’s is walking distance from my house which gives them an extra star in my book. I’m looking forward trying more selections from the menu.

I’ve been here quite a few times as I work closeby. I’ve had pepperoni pizza, chile verde pizza, roast beef sandwich, turkey sandwich and the salad bar. Everything is great. The pizza is always amazing. The roast beef sandwich was really good also. The salad bar has pretty much everything you’d want. Service is always quick and friendly. I’ll definitely be back!

Wow, Wow, Wow! I love this pizza. This location was another pizza place before Tony’s took it over, which had become a nasty, dirty place that I just could no longer go to. We switched over to Me N’ Ed’s or Rusty’s. I was never satisfied but they were convenient). Tony’s has come in & cleaned it up and made the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. A little pricey, however, you get what you pay for. Mine was a pick up … and when walking to my car, I knew I was carrying something other than a box. When I got home, we chowed down and enjoyed every bite. I’ll be back and once you try it, so will you!

Love Tonys Pizza! Loved it in Delano when I lived there, now Bakersfield. While waiting with my wife, didn’t expect Anna(works for Tonys) to ask us if wanted something to drink.. . We were very suprised. That was the first. Great Service.
