. I called earlier to see what time they closed and they never even answered. When I got there I was given the worst service ever. Horrible service, horrible food. Would not recommend especially if you are looking to take your date out to a nice seafood dinner.

This place is completely awful it’s horrible! Bad attitude bad atmosphere and dangerous environment. It’s not even Ralph bro! No Kanye on the radio even worse! I can’t believe it I wasted about 30 min of my life in this place I would’ve gave –200 stars

Please please! stay away from this place I had the shrimp plate with veggies and the shrimps smelled like toilet we told them it was spoiled and they took it… never apologizing but instead they denied it. There for she made us pay for the plate knowing we had complained. If you don’t want to get sick please stay away.

First time here and I came for the buffet. Not to crowded so it gave me a indication that it might not be good. Well I was a little surprised that food is really good. Mole was tasteful, spicy and sweet just like I like it. Many choices to choose: Chile rellenos, chicharones, menudo, pozole, Chile Verde, all were tasty. I think I’ll make it a weekly visit.

The molcajete with carne Asada was delicious. Handmade tortillas were good. The beef enchiladas were satisfying.

Yeahhhh… this place is sad and tired. It has a crappy buffet and the service here sucks big time. Beware the bad reviews.

I’m not from around here and i had never heard about this place. It just happened that i had to pull off the 10 freeway for fuel when i seen it. So decided to stop and take a chance. After a long day of sight seeing in LA and coming back to the hotel we were hungry for Mexican food. At entering the building we were greated with a friendly smile, the ambient was really good. I ordered my self a molcajete de mariscos and i was not disappointed at all. The food was soo good it made me feel as if i was in actual Mexico eating by the beach! I had me a michelada or two and those were the best i have had in a long time. If you’re in the mood for really great Mexican food i really recommend going here if you’re around the area. I know im coming back before heading home. The staff is awsome and the price is right for the amount of food you get.

Came here since it’s close to home and my friend wanted a margarita. Sat at the bar and where there was chips and salsa set up so the staff could take it to the incoming tables. After about 5 minutes a waitress came over and took our order for drinks. They had a mango margarita that neither of us had tried so we went for it. Worst decision ever. Who knows how long the syrup had been sitting there because I took one sip and that’s all I could take. Another drink and I would have definitely puked. I pushed it away and watched as another group entered and was seated and offered chips and salsa. Upon grabbing one of the bowls of chips the waitress dropped another. She walked away and the chips layer there for some time. The manager walked over and looked at the mess, then went on to do another song on karaōke. Finally another waitress came by and picked it up. She threw all the pieces back into the bowl and walked to the back. A minute later she walked back and over to me at the bar and said here’s some free chips and salsa. They could have been fresh chips but I wasn’t willing to take the chance. I let her know my drink was not good and if there’s anything she would recommend, she just nodded no… I figured I would use the restroom before I left and for the sake of not grossing anyone out I’ll just say I’ve seen ally’s cleaner than this. Perhaps I came in on a bad night and this doesn’t normally happen, but it happening once was enough for me. Never again

I’ve gotten food to go twice and they mess up both of my orders and when call to let them know they fuck up my order the lady start arguing with me telling me that it was my fault!
These people need to get their shit together!!!

Came here hungover and gotta say the food hit the spot !! Michelada were good and the seafood soup had a ton in it !! Highly recommend it for Mariscos

The food was nasty and all hard the service was terrible they had no respect for you they will talk in Spanish so we just left. DONT GO EAT HERE !!!

Used to come all the time for the buffet. Beans rice and enchiladas nowadays it’s
quality has greatly declined and I would not in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. However that said I have been unable to find a menudo that is on par with this locations.

Great food and very affordable. There is a Nortena Band on Fridays. … the atmosphere is very friendly.

3.5 stars if I could. Ate here on Halloween at 2 pm because my dad saw an ad for the 7.99 lunch buffet. I came in and was expecting a usual buffet setup but it was different from what I expected.
There were 15 different heated trays with different meats like chicken mole, carnitas, lingua, goat meat, and others that I can’t tell what’s what. There was some chicken nuggets (which were slightly hard) & fries. The meat is pretty tasty, their homemade corn tortillas are very very good. They also have a condiment bar with lettuce, limes, onion, and cilantro. They also serve ceviche, salad, and some fruits.
Service was fine, friendly waitresses who check up on you. Then again it wasn’t busy and only 3 other people were there. The interior of the place is pretty nice, hand painted murals.
Good food, nice service, just wish the buffet had some little description of what is what. The way it was setup made it looked unappetizing and ‘cheap.’ The total for 3 people was $ 26.25, I would recommend for a quick mexican brunch if you had $ 10 bucks and wanted something worth your money, because $ 8 for some unlimited types of meat and tortillas doesn’t sound too bad.

Came here for lunch with my coworker today. I was a little disappointed with the buffet selections. The restaurant was not busy at the time we were there, thank goodness. Tons of seats. Well ventilated.
There are two locations: one in Baldwin Park and the other one is in West Covina.

–Buffet M-​F 11 – 3 for $ 7.99
–Sunday with Mariachi 11 – 1:30 (if you like the mariachis)

Cons:
–The buffet selections were not that great
–seems like the food have been sitting out for a while because they were kind of dry.
–no real shrimp with the ceviche
–Chile relleno was salty and the breading was soggy
–if you take the fried shrimp apart, you will see that the shrimp in the middle is very small and not only that it was cut/​smashed to make it look big
–dishes were dirty
–Time limit with the buffet (1 hr)
I will have to come back another day and give their regular menu a try.

after reading recent reviews I think I’ll just stick to the buffet since I’m reading their waitress service is slow. With the buffet you don’t wait on anyone, you just get the food yourself and pile on how ever much you want so win win situation lol

Can’t nearly walk in this place. doubt that a wheelchair person can get around in here. music is super loud. have to yell to the waitress on your order of course she has to yell back. none the less conversate with your party. buffet food looks like it’s not fresh. haven’t received my food yet. not that I have much of an appetite now. And the restroom was very dirty and small door latches didn’t even work. ugh. definitely won’t be coming here again.
