I have eaten here several times over the past year, and the sushi has been consistently excellent. This is the best sushi in Baltimore. Their toro and salmon are superb. Tonight we also enjoyed a mango shrimp tempura roll, a spicy crispy scallop roll and some eggplant shrimp tempura. I recommend all three!

The sushi here is really good and affordable. My favorite is the Spider Roll — which has soft shell crab in it. Would definitely order carry out from here.

This is my go-to Sushi place in Fed. They have a pretty simple, classic menu. Always fresh and tasty, and very reasonably priced.

The lychee martini is a nice cocktail and large Sapporo beer is a great way to start dinner. The Ahi Tuna Chip and the Mango Shrimp Tampura Rolls are House Specials that are good appetizers. Beef Udon noodles are a must for fillers if one doesn’t want to eat all sushi. Good cheap local sushi!

Super fresh and Delicious Sushi! Authentic japanese food. Soups, noodles, fried rice, teriaki, and my favorite appetizer are the baked mussels. Love this place. Relaxing atmosphere and good for groups too. Excellent service. Hands up!

This is my favorite place for sushis in Fedhill, the food is always good, the choice is great — nothing fancy just a classic menu– and their happy hour menu a very good deal! They also have nice options for lunch. Also the waiter has a very good memory and remember your favorites. The service is great. Unfortunately they don’t open on Sunday anymore. All the staff is very friendly and it is a pleasure to go there. All the friends I brought there told le it also became their favorite sushi place :-)

Amazing! I was in town for a business meeting and came here because of the Unilocal reviews. I am very picky about sushi. The food, service, and atmosphere are outstanding! Highly recommend!!!

The sushi happy hour here is great, $ 3-$ 4 for normal rolls and $ 6-$ 8 for specialty ones. Each roll comes with substantial portions, with 8 pieces each. I’m usually at that perfect spot after 2 rolls, but here I actually became so full(which is a good thing!). Honestly the quality of food here itself isn’t that amazing but the price is unbeatable in the area. I recommend the mango roll with shrimp tempura and slices of mango.

Was here with a few friends a felt a bit rushed even though the place wasn’t even half full. Sushi was good and fresh, nothing wowed me. Decent happy hour specials on food but it’s minimal on drinks. Service is good but needs better communication between the two servers.

This has been my recent go-to place for a decent meal during the weekdays and when I’m craving sushi. I have only come to Brothers Sushi during happy hour which is from 5pm –7pm from Monday to Friday. The normally reasonably priced rolls are cheaper, ranging from $ 4 to $ 6. They are pretty lenient about giving you the happy hour deal. My friends and I came in at 6:55 and were still able to order off of the happy hour menu for the rest of our meal. The service is wonderful. They are attentive and constantly coming over to check if you need more water or drinks. I came here today for happy hour, and the experience was generally the same. Sometimes the tables are«over-served,» which basically means that too many waiters service a table during the meal, which leads to confusion on both the waiters’ and the customers’ parts. Luckily, I wasn’t on the receiving end, but I did see another table ask one waiter to cancel an order that was delivered to them 5 minutes later. Although the majority of the rolls have little to no fish in them, They are cheap and are served at a good quantity. The fish were unfortunately cut a bit thin, but nonetheless they were fresh and sweet. I have tried the mango roll, the rainbow roll, the tuna/salmon avocado rolls, the crunchy roll, and the shrimp tempura roll. All of them were made well and tasted delicious. I really enjoyed the sauces that went with the mango roll, as it was salty but not overbearingly salty that it covered the sweetness of the mango. The rolls were all placed on the same plate and came with a good amount of wasabi and ginger. Normally restaurants flake off on giving ginger and wasabi. The rolls were all at least eight pieces each… I’ve seen some places give only four pieces. Overall, I was very pleased by the quality of sushi, especially since Baltimore has disappointed me quite frequently with badly-made, non-fresh seafood. However they could honestly do with less sauce and more classical sushi selections, focusing more on the fish rather than everything else but. This place, though not the best sushi ever, has proven to be tasty and filling and heathy for the wallet!

Came into the restaurant *just* before happy hour was ending and was still able to order off of the happy hour menu, which was great. The service was excellent and our waiter was very friendly. I highly recommend the mango roll with the shrimp tempura — it tasted delicious and the crunch of the shrimp tempura was perfect! The price was pretty cheap for sushi(again, I came during happy hour) and the food was great.

Since the weather has been so nice, my roommate and I find ourselves going walking after work and grabbing a bite to eat someplace in Federal Hill. On one of our recent adventures, we found ourselves craving Asian and walking past Brothers Sushi. When we walked into Brothers Sushi it was before 7pm and therefore still happy hour. Brothers has a really great happy hour menu which made our entire meal incredibly cheap. My roommate started her meal with Edamame which was good, but nothing particularly special. It tasted like your typical edamame from an Asian restaurant. My roommate also decided to order the Pineapple Crab Wontons. The order came with four wontons filled with pineapple and a creamy crab dip stuffed inside of wontons and then lightly fried. My roommate and I have dined out together plenty of times, this was perhaps her favorite thing she’s ever ordered. I started my meal with the Spicy Tuna Bowl, this whole dish was incredibly fresh which is the most important thing when it comes to sushi. It was chunks of tuna, avocado, cucumber layered and then drizzled with spicy sauce. This was a really great way to start the meal and the perfect accompaniment to a sushi roll. I also ordered a Salmon Avocado Roll which was also very fresh. I also dipped the roll in some of the leftover sauce from my spicy tuna bowl which was delicious. If you’re looking for a quick delicious bite to eat, Brothers Sushi is sure to satisfy your stomach.

The points about Brothers: –Reliable –Fresh –Cheap These dudes have never disappointed me. I’d guess my wife and I have eaten here 20 times and it’s always above average. Solid sushi or any other type of entrée. Soups are great. Happy hour is a must. Great location too.

This is my favorite sushi place in Baltimore so far! I got the Tuna TarTar as the appetizers and spilt the Sushi for 3 with some friends. There were so many different types sushi on the plate! It was really difficult to figure out what to eat first. The Tuna TarTar was interesting… I think the flavors(crunchy topping with some fish-sauce dressing) really overpowered the tuna. I’m not too big of a fan. The standard miso soup and salad(with two different types of dressing, ginger or sesame). There were 3 pieces of each type of sushi in the sushi bowl, so there was no fighting over the sushi! ;) LOTS of sashimi, and the fatty salmon was great.(Obviously, I really judge sushi places by their sashimi). This salmon sushi LITERALLY melted in my mouth. If you like delicious fresh sushi, then I think Brothers Sushi is definitely on your to-eat list. The rolls steered more towards avocado with a different type of meat(crab, tuna, salmon, shrimp etc). Not too exciting or new. I’m a huge fan of avocado so that was fine with me, but maybe not for others.

Unfortunately boyfriend and I were not impressed with this place. An empty restaurant at 6:30 pm on a Saturday night probably does not bode well. We got sashimi combo B, and as boyfriend said, this is probably this first place that actually counted out exactly 18 pieces of fish and didn’t get anything extra. Fish was good — Seemed fresh. We got double tuna roll. It wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t impressive either– just ok. Kind of small, but I guess it is probably more like average size for rolls. We just think it’s small. We also got the jade roll, which was just kind of weird. The tuna, salmon, white tuna, and avocado was wrapped in cucumber. The cucumber instead of rice and/or seaweed was just weird.(but maybe that’s just because I’ve never had anything like that before). Service: as it was empty, service was quick and attentive. However, I feel like I had a really hard time understanding /hearing the waitress. Although everything was quick and efficient, I couldn’t help feeling very rushed and hovered over. I’m generally slow esp at making decision and even more so at a new place. I felt as though she hovered and I felt kind of uncomfortable. Because we were the only ones there, the atmosphere just felt kind of uncomfortable and awkward to me. I don’t think I would come back here for a sushi craving and pay full price. I might want try their happy hour if I were ever to come back.

We loved it!!! We stopped in for a quick bite before driving back to DC and found this gem. It wasn’t crowded(bonus) and the food was amazing. We had the T&T roll and it was phenomenal. The salmon, tuna and white tuna sashimi was super fresh and tasty. The eel sushi was one of the best we’ve had in Maryland! :) The service and ambiance were impeccable.

The place was essentially empty at 6PM on a Sunday which was perfect for family dinner with a 2 year old. My toddler enjoyed the chicken gyoza and the chicken ramen although I felt that the ramen lacked flavor. The miso soup was very good and the sushi rolls we got — tropical, Mexico and fire mountain were fantastic. Great presentation and delicious sauces. The mango on the mexico wasn’t too flavorful but it was good nonetheless.

Great customer service and good sushi. Try the Baltimore roll and chicken fried rice. They also have a great happy hour from 5−7pm. 3 $-4 $ rolls, gyoza and Shumai.

First time at Brothers Sushi, by whose recommendation.Yes.that’s right all you Unilocalers out there who love it! I came in for happy hour and ordered Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll, Crunchy Roll(yes, they are different) and the Mango Roll. Service was good as I was seated right away and water filled up. HH prices were pretty decent, so I was excited. But when my food came it was just okay. Not overwhelmingly delicious or horrible just blah. You know how you go on a date and nothing is wrong with the person but something is…(awkward pause) missing. That’s what happend. I am willing go on date two and looking to be woooooo-ed. You know just what every girl wants!
