The Pancake House

Food is very good and in generous portions. Servers are attentive and cover is plentiful.
Just be patient waiting to be seated. The hostess is typically overwhelmed doing double duty as cashier. Often you will stand at the entry to the dining room watching while an endless line of people pay their tabs. Eventually someone will take you to your table.
Other than that, it’s a great diner style experience!

Best breakfast in BC, hands down. Large portions and classic diner breakfast for a decent price. Well worth the wait on the weekend or use the call ahead seating option.

I really like this place! The service is nice, friendly, and quick. The food is good and fresh tasting. Check the specials board before sitting down because there’s always something to sway you a bit. No matter what you order ask for some warm homemade strawberry jam, just do it!

This is a great little breakfast place. Decent prices and large servings. Hash browns seem fresh cut. Fast and friendly service and the food was served quickly. Husband loved the chicken and black bean breakfast burrito. For you vegetarians they prepare the pancake items on a separate grill than the meat items.

Used to be a great place, not so much any more. Usually have to wait in line on weekends to get in so was surprised when there were numerous parking spots and no line yesterday. Found out why. Order was taken quickly but then the wait for my food was WAY to long considering they weren’t busy. Finally a bus person brought outmy food. Pancakes were so cold the whipped butter wouldn’t melt on them. Waited for waitress but she never showed up or even walked by. Ate the bacon and then went up to pay. Cashier didn’t ask how my meal was but I told her anyway. I explained that my pancakes were too cold to eat and that I would have sent them back but the waitress never came back. Her response was «sorry» and let me know I needed to pay the full bill.

I ordered the Mushroom omelette w hash browns and French toast. The meal was very good. My server Tina was amazing! She was extremely on point. Prices are very reasonable too. Definitely will return.

Decent food. Hot food. Fast. Coffee cup always full and nice staff! Glad you are smoke free too!!!

Best place in town that I know of for breakfast… plentiful coffee… great omelets… friendly atmosphere and waitstaff… parking is sometimes tricky but worth it.

This is a great local restaurant for breakfast. It is located next to Horrocks and across the street from K-​Mart. Saturday and Sunday mornings this place it generally packed. It is probably the best spot in town for pancakes.
The only downside to it is their parking lot is not very big, so you may at times have to park across the street at Horrocks and walk over. The service has always been good when I am there, and they have both tables and booths.

Great breakfast food. Great friendly service. Located in downtown Battle Creek across from Kmart and Horrocks. Good portions. This is my favorite stop for breakfast in Battle Creek.
