A great romantic place for dinner after a day of skiing. It’s definitely pricey, but a very intimate and great experience. They have a 5 course menu for $ 125/person. What I really appreciated, was that most set menus have only 2 – 3 choices for each course, but Beano’s had 6 – 7 choices for appetizers, and 9 – 10 choices for entrees, with no additional or supplemental charges for any of the entrees, which is commonly done. There is a soup that is served to everyone, and then a choice of 2 salads, and then a choice between 4 desserts. They’re also not kidding when they say to dress warmly for the sleigh ride(which is really a snow cat). It was snowing pretty heavily on both our way up and down the mountain, which was a fun experience, but I definitely buried my face in the blanket at times due to the cold and wind. They have a fleece blanket that protects the sleigh seats from snow but you definitely need to bring your other winter accessories. Once inside, there is live music by a guitarist along with a cozy fire. The whole cabin has a very cozy feel, with large windows to view the snow outside. It is absolutely beautiful. They had a very extensive wine list and the service was fantastic. Although they have set times of when to leave C-bar to go the Beano’s, they do not have set times of when to leave to go back to the village, but rather, they gauge when people are ready to go, and have a sleigh ready. The food was excellent. The porterhouse porkchop was excellent. The venison was good as well, though the porkchop was the better dish. The venison was a tad peppery for my taste, but excellently done otherwise. The rabbit saddle, fois gras, butternut squash soup, and the salads were all amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and will definitely be back next time we visit Beaver Creek!

This was a great place to stop for lunch. I had the burger which was huge!!! It came with blue cheese, thick bacon, grilled red onions, lettuce, tomato and a fried egg. Service was very good. Our server was knowledgable and friendly, also very quick. Ambiance was very mountain-cabin-esque. They had a wood burning fireplace in the foyer with some rocking chairs to soak in the heat. They had a nice deck area to watch skiers go by and enjoy a drink. Definitely would like to go back for dinner, which I hear is amazing.

$ 15 roast beef on a small bun. Come on guys… I get it…$ 10 for a hot dog, but that is over the top. Vail has way better access to normal ski food. Still steep but not blatantly opportunist. Principle.

As cool as the sleigh ride sounds, it’s not as fun when the weather is snowing, windy and 9 degrees for the 12 minute ride to the cabin. They do provide you with big fleece cover ups, but you have to be careful the outside layer of snow doesn’t fall into the inside layer of «warmth». Anyway, the environment and set up of the cabin was very nice. Fine dining in a cabin at the top of the mountain no cars can access – now that is pretty cool. Here are my points on my 5 course meal(and bites of others): Winter salad– a few bites of your typical vinaigrette type of salad; okay Foie gras– hands down the BEST foie gras I’ve ever had, so delicious!!! Rabbit saddle– tasted like a tough chicken; I prefer he foie gras instead Pork porterhouse– wow what a tender and flavorful entrée! It was also a decent sized cut so you get pretty full off just this one plate; I couldn’t finish it! Roasted pear– this dessert ran out quickly, but I was lucky enough to receive the last plate. It was so delicious with the combination of pear and ice cream.

This review is not about Beano’s itself but those going to Beano’s should know this information. Beano’s is an incredible restaurant with incredible staff, but before you dine there, you have to check in at a place called C Bar. Make sure you only spend a few minutes at C Bar before your sleigh ride to Beano’s because it is a horrible place to go. They are crooks. If you pay cash at the bar they pocket the cash and then say you never paid. They are rude and have horrible customer service. They pocketed the cash and had the audacity to confront us and say we didn’t pay even though there were several witness. After Megan was extremely rude, argumentative, and confrontational, we finally had to pay twice. The employees here are liars and crooks. Make sure you never give them a dime.

Fantastic experience. Yes it is a little pricey but the whole experience was something not to be missed if you can afford it. We took our two boys and they were able to ride up front with the the snocat driver. This had the added benefit that they were not cold. Back where we were it was cold but if you make sure to dress warm and used the poncho it was fine. Here a tip. Get on the sled early and have your back to the snocat. You’ll have a better view and the wind won’t blow snow in your face. They have slippers when you arrive if your feet need warming. Nice touch. The food was fantastic. Our favorite was the egg appetizer. The wedge salad was small but great flavors. The desert was also wonderful. Don’t, is the lava cake if you are a chocolate lover. Not too sweet.

Great experience. A bit cold on the way up the mountain but that was expected. The food was outstanding. The wine list extensive and the hospitality a plus. A must do if you come to beaver creek.

Absolutely not recommended. The food was over priced and not flavorful at all. For a fixed meal for 5 items I am still hungry!

The setting alone warrants 5 stars. What a beautiful destination. Attended a wedding reception here and it was magnificent. The service was stellar and the food was even better. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the winter time.

they are incorporating foods grown by the cabin which I love, soon to have their own honey to make truly unique dishes! for me, the horseback ride up makes this complete.

Initially, I was reluctant to dine here due to the silly name. Flashbacks of the«Beano before, quiet after» commercial flooded my mind as my asshole flinched at the memory. However, it turned out to be a very special experience. The 20-minute sleigh ride was super exciting and fun, despite the frigid conditions. I had to refrain from belting out a holiday jingle. We used the blankets and ponchos provided on-board to wrap ourselves up and shield our faces from the snow. Our guide was super interactive, funny and offered to take photos of everyone. Once seated inside the warm log cabin restaurant, we were able to construct our own five-course menu while devouring the tasty bread basket. All of the dishes tasted impeccable! The foie gras duck ravioli and wagyu steak were particularly memorable. And kudos to our awesome server, who promptly had a new steak made for me when the first one came out nearly well-done instead of medium-rare. We were also gifted with complimentary glasses of champagne, which were thoroughly enjoyed before our sleigh ride back down the mountain. Something to note for the dining portion: If it’s your birthday, the live guitar player will sing«Happy Birthday». If it’s your anniversary, he will serenade you with a «Happy Anniversary» song. As you can imagine, this elicited a few chuckles throughout the dining room.

I am here with The Texas Ski Council and my group leader made reservations for some of the members from the San Antonio Los Amigos Ski Club to take the sleigh to Beano’s for dinner last evening. Everyone in my group was allowed to board except me! The young lady with the clipboard said I was not on the list. According to my group leader, Robin, they were not aware that I was not on the sleigh till they arrived at Beano’s! This is the first time I have visited Beavercreek. I had no choice but to just come back to my room. No fair Sleigh staff!

My husband and I were given the Beano’s Cabin dining experience as a wedding present for our honeymoon. Realizing now the cost, I realize how generous this was of our friends. First and foremost I have to say that it was the most romantic dinner of our honeymoon. It was spectacular to ride up there looking at the stars. We were extremely lucky that it was a warmer clearer night with no snowfall. Our sleigh host, Keegan, was hilarious. Definitely made the ride seem quicker and more enjoyable. Secondly, the food was amazing. Considering it is a five course meal I believe the price is reasonable. I ordered the steak and it was cooked to perfection and so tender. My husband had the pork which was also delicious. Finally, the service was incredible. I wasn’t sure exactly which gentleman was our server but they were all wonderful. Our water was always full and every little need was met. We both agree that we would love to take our parents here some time when they come to Colorado. It’s a great restaurant for a special occasion.

AWESOME!!! It was so good! Great place for family and kids! You can go in your ski clothes. They have slippers for you to change into — out of your ski boots. The food is wonderful. Try the pork belly appetizer — — bacon — — Yum! The wines are pretty expensive, but the list is nice … Not cheap wines priced high. They are quality wines for a reasonable price — not too high for restaurants. You have to dress warm for the sleigh ride during winter. But it is super super beautiful and I would highly recommend it! Just wear your ski clothes and use the comfortable slippers provided for you when you get there. High price but high-quality and well worth it… Just what you want during the holiday season!!!

There are few extraordinarily romantic dinner experiences left in the U.S. – not just romantic, but extraordinarily romantic. If you don’t find Beano’s Cabin to be one, then you are either dead, a entitled brat, or don’t appreciate winter wonder. Rustic snowcat-pulled sleigh ride adventure, beautiful ski mountain top cabin, excellent wine list, warm fireplace, highly professional wait staff, and endless charm. Bring your love here abd have a world class experience. If you are whiny and will find things to pick and complain about, take Bambi to a Beverly Hills restaurant on Rodeo Drive and give her another necklace instead, and leave the rest of us in peace and culinary bliss.

The best thing about Beano’s Cabin is that it’s not just a restaurant… it’s an experience. You can’t just drive there. You have to take a sleigh! And once you arrive, they invite you to take off your shoes and put on slippers. Now seriously? Where in the world can you do this? Dinner is a 5 course meal with a set price. Easy peasy. Yes it’s expensive. But it’s worth it… for the food, for the experience and for the fact that you can look out the window and see nothing but trees and snow(if you are there in the winter). The night I was there, a guitar player was singing in the background. All these little things that make Beano’s Cabin Special. Here is a short video to see more of it. You HAVE to make reservations. Make them early, they fill up.

Very attentive service, I had 5 different forks. We had a table of 7 and I think there was 2 helpers plus the waiter. Good wine list. Nice live popular rock music played acoustically. 5 courses so it’s not a place to take the wife that just wants a sandwich. All portions were reasonable size so you don’t feel too full. Even though we visited during summer, we did not ride the horses nor the sleigh so I can’t comment on those aspects. I can’t understand why anyone would do either unless you have kids with you. And if you have kids I probably wouldn’t eat here. Food was excellent. I was a little disappointed, expecting more game choices like Quail, Buffalo, Elk and Red Deer. I had the leg of lamb and it was the best lamb I’ve had. They did have a vegetarian main course. A must for every visitor to the area. At $ 100pp, its certainly a tourist trap as no locals would ever eat here.

we visited Beanos Cabin last week and found it to be such a special experience! Riding in the snowcat drawn sled up the snowy mountain was so beautiful, and the restaurant was equally impressive. The menu is very eclectic, but everything was cooked perfectly. Even though the meal is 5 courses, i was pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes, as i never felt too full for the next course. I would absolutely recommend Beano’s Cabin!

Everyone kept telling us that this was the best restaurant in Beaver Creek, but my experience was Meh. Sleigh ride is unique and the ambiance is inviting. The quality of the ingredients was excellent however it lacked seasoning. For $ 112 per person plus tax and service, I was expecting much more. Way over hyped!!! Ranking of Restaurants that we dined at during our trip: 1. Splendido — 5 star 2. Spago — 4.5 star 3. Beano’s — 3 star 4. Blue Plate Bistro — 1 star
