The guys at Sullivan tire consistently go above and beyond for their customers.
I show up near closing time with a broken a/​c unit, the next day I am driving to Florida! I need that a/​c! The bad news is that it isn’t a simple fix. They offered to come in early the next morning to get started on my car! I showed up early, and sure enough 4 guys showed up, one to drive me home to finish packing!
These guys are always thoughtful and considerate of their customers! This is only one example of why I keep going back to Sullivan tire!

Very fast service. Did not try to sell me anything I did not need. Friendly staff. I heard some rattling and brought my vehicle in. Luckily it was an easy fix. I called the day before to set up an appointment for the next morning. This location of Sullivan Tire is very accomodating. Call for an appointment though as they tend to get busy.

Did the job but not in time then the old dude argued with me about what was written in the schedule instead of apologizing.

This Sullivan Tire charged me for the previous customers work, then charged me for my work after I pointed out that the amount was over $ 200 more than my work. Both deductions were pulled out of my account and have been held for five days now. They did not have authorization to pull hundreds of dollars out of my account — in most places, that is called theft! I went to the manager and all he could say was ‘sorry’, never offered anything for holing my money or the error. Arrogant jerks and I will never do business with them again. Not even an offer of a free oil change for their sloppy work and holding onto hundreds of my dollars with out my authorization. BEWARE!!!

The day after Christmas I woke to find my car with a flat tire. I called Sullivan Tire in Bedford, Mass. to ask about a fix. Sullivan first told me that they were too busy to help me. Then Sullivan attempted to convince me that I should buy not one but four brand new tires! When I told Sullivan that I only needed one IF the tire on my car couldn’t be fixed Sullivan told me that they WOULDN’T help me! Thank YOU Sullivan Tire and Auto Service! Merry Christmas to you! Read the reviews. Seems like this firm has a solid history of UP-​charging whenever they can get away with it! Watch out!

Took our minivan in to get snow tires put on, after making an appointment just last night online. They got the car in right on time and didnt even blink when I told them I wanted to wait for it.
Felix, my technician, came out to show me that the tires I wanted put on were really worse off than the all season tires we have on it. He also pointed out to an issue that came up with our sliding door.
While not sure how it happened, Felix and Paul, the manager there, were very forthright and made suggestions on how to get it repaired.
While I ended up without what I came out for, I will definitely be back as Paul & Felix were straight up with me.

Probably the nicest group of people I’ve ever met in automotive service and repair. Had an emergency and they were able to fix it right away. Completely saved the day! Highly recommend this location!

A solid 3.5 stars. We love our Prius. 51 mpg in the city/​48 mpg on the highway is a tough value proposition to pass up. Unfortunately the Prius is not exactly a fun car to drive in «wicked hahsh» New England winters. Sadly the Prius’ driving performance in winter weather is like watching Billy Dee Williams try to dance the tango on Dancing With The Stars.
The Prius desperately needed winter tires and Sullivan delivered. The winter tires were competitively priced and the total service took about two hours. And more importantly, the Prius handled a lot better in the wintry conditions (not surprisingly, the mpg went down).
The cost to change back to all-​weather tires is $ 25 per tire, and the Sullivan team inspected and recommend that the Prius have a wheel alignment, which costed another $ 90. Sullivan does provide a shuttle service if you’re local and you don’t want to spend two hours reading The Improper Bostonian or watch the old lady sitting across from you knit a sweater…

These guys are great. I had a tire blow out and they stayed open late for me to replace it. Thankfully there’s still some quality people that do quality work.

Great service, fair pricing. I’ve had them perform scheduled maintenance and small jobs like switching wheels from summer to snow. Each time they’ve done a great job at a very good price. Not the typical place that tries to squeeze every last penny out of you. Fully trust their service.

Just brought my Acura for a set of new tires, service was superb. This business delivered as promised and when I got there they had my rebate form filled out and hand wrote the address as well as my return address on the envelope. I asked them kiddingly why they did not provide the stamp as well and they were ready to do that. This business gets it in regards to customer service. Do not hesitate to use them

One of my front brakes was smoking hot. a nasty sound emanated from one of the rear brakes. Manager Brian Smart thoroughly and professionally decided that I needed ALL NEW BRAKES ALL AROUND. I, of course, was shocked at the bad news. However, $ 1650 later I feel confident that I now have reliable brakes with a 2-​year or 24,000 mile guarantee. I recommend Brian Smart.

I had my rear brakes repaired at Sullivan Tire on May 18, and I am glad I did. Fine service, free ride to/​from work, and a AAA discount.
I drive a 1993 Infiniti G20 with 205,000 miles on it. I started to get a scraping noise in the rear and I knew it was a brake problem. So I took it to Sullivan Tire in Bedford, MA, not far from where I work.
First, Sullivan offers a free ride to and from work. This avoids the hassle of asking coworkers for rides or perhaps taking a day off from work.
Sometime after lunch, they called with a diagnosis. The right rear caliper was frozen and it needed to be replaced. They also recommended that the left rear caliper be replaced also, even though it didn’t really need it. Was this overselling? I’m not sure, but the service manager’s explanation was plausible, and replacing the caliper probably saved me another headache down the road.
Come 4:00 PM, they called and asked if I needed a ride back to the shop. I did, and the driver picked me up promptly at 5PM. The car was ready at 5:40, working fine. The brake technician explained that the brake pedal would feel a little soft for a day, and he was right. One week later, everything is fine.
New rotors and calipers cost me a bit over $ 700 installed, but I have safety now and peace of mind. Was the price fair? I think so, considering I had a single caliper replaced on another G20 a few years back and it cost me close to $ 600. They also fixed and adjusted the parking brake for me, something I had planned to do myself anyway.

I don’t likely costly car repairs, but I was very pleased with Sullivan Tire. They got me back on the road quickly and I will continue to use them.

I decided to check out Sully tire after they moved into their new spot on North Road. I really hadn’t been looking around for tires until the ones I had got so bald I couldn’t get through the rain. While checking out the website (
) I saw a link that said «e-​mail us for a quote», So I did with all my info and within a few hours I had a nice e-​mail with several different tires and the sales mans personal reviews for all of them. I then went on to a Internet review sight and saw his personal reviews seemed to match up with the general public (did not try to pass off bad tires as good). I then decided to purchase a certain tire and asked him if I should call the store to make an appointment. He wrote back and told me to pick any date/​time and he would make sure the tires were in stock and set up an appointment for me. I chose a Saturday morning and it only took them about an hour to change out my tires. Great prices, great service. I would recommend them to everyone unsure about purchasing tires. Great company.

(Update: My wife wanted you all to know that she actually did all the pre-​purchase calling to check the availability of the tires and that I am just a lazy bastard who writes reviews and takes all the credit…)
I recently had all four of my tires replaced on my Ford Expedition. Sullivan Tire in Bedford was by far the most helpful automotive business I have dealt with in a while.
I did some research online to figure out what type of tire I wanted to buy for the Expy, and they weren’t widely available. I called a few businesses around the area, big chains and small shops, and most places told me they were backordered and that it would be awhile. However, Sullivan Tire told me they could have the tires there in 48 hours. And to top it off they were about 10% cheaper than the big chains I called.
I set up the appointment, and arrived when they opened on a weekday morning. The guy behind the counter knew I was coming and had the paperwork all ready for me. I told him I had some appointments I needed to get to in the early afternoon, and he had no problem putting a bit of a rush on it, so I could get the truck back on time.
They also gave me a free ride in to work after I dropped off the vehicle, and they also came to pick me up at work that afternoon. It was very convenient and the old crusty guy that drives the courtesy van was pretty damn funny.
And on the way out the door they thanked me for my business which was a nice change.
From what I understand, this shop moved from the Burlington location, so they are relatively new in Bedford, but I would definitely recommend them and will go back there for my next set.
