This has quickly become one of my favorite bars in Bellingham. It’s a great place to grab a glass(or a bottle) of wine and a bite to eat with friends. I enjoy the cheese and charcuterie plates, olives, and salad I’ve had there. I think the prices seem reasonable considering the quality of the wines, but I do sometimes wish they would have more offerings in the $ 7−9/glass price range. The staff is incredibly warm, friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to try their brunch and attend some of their outdoor events this summer.

I found the location to be sweet, but the pricing to be very high. I’m not one with deep pockets, so I’d only come back here to learn about wine if I was prepared to pay a significant check. Pros? Indoor and outdoor seating Open atmosphere Friendly owners and workers Good selection Cons? Pricing Felt like I didn’t get a lot of explanations for what it was I was ordering, but next time I’ll see if I can weasel some good info out of them

ArtiFacts has become our favorite new spot in town to enjoy a glass(or two or three) of ONTAP wine, or to nibble on some delectable bites; preferably both! We also love that they host a different wine tasting every week; our last visit found us sipping on an assortment of Ports! It was heavenly. The food is just as lovely as the drinks. The truffled liver mousse is wonderful and their stone ground cornmeal waffles are SOGOOD! We especially enjoyed the caprese, with tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella cheese! And the prices are extremely moderate for the caliber. The space is nice and intimate; my husband and I even enjoyed a couple games of chess while sipping on some delicious Syrah! In the summer months they plan on utilizing the fantastic courtyard, hosting live music. We can’t wait for the weather to warm up; ArtiFacts will be the place to be this summer and beyond! But you may want to give it try now, when you can still get a seat.

A little bit of «Cheers», a hot bar from«Sex in the City», the experience of a well traveled sommelier, comfort food with a twist and a wine club to die for. True story!

Newly opened next to the Museum on Flora and connected to it actually by a lovely courtyard. I can’t wait for a Bellingham summer day there — with a good bottle of Vino and some live music perhaps? For now, Jennifer J and I settled in for a winter’s bite — which included the truly delicious Mom’s Favorite Chili with Breadfare Baguette alongside. Our server told us some Grandmas were in a declared it better than even their own — that’s saying something! Even it was, my Grandma would never actually SAY it. My lunch pal went for the stoneground cornmeal waffle topped with assorted goodness — there’s quite a few options to customize these golden delicious babies, and I suggest you order a bunch and try them all. With local Wine Guy Wick handling the juice, you know the wine selection is both extensive and tasty. They also of course have beer, a must for the new(ish) Hamster beer scene.(On my visit, someone called Bellingham a «Beer Town» and with the scene bursting with new brew ventures, I must agree. Whatcom County craft brewers: a tip of the cap from San Diego) You can get an Organic, local hard boiled egg in the morning for a $ 1. That’s pretty awesome for your protein hounds. There is Panini’s, there is soups, there is a butterscotch pots de crème! They also have a foodie win club that has secret private dinners! As I plan quite a few secret private dinners(oh hey Elite squad!) I can«dig it» as the website suggests. Cheers — If I still lived around the corner(a la 7 years ago) I’d be a regular for sure.
