Food was decent. The service was so-so because I’m not accustomed to talking with the snarky dishwasher.

Great food, Service and prices. Home run. I had the Homemade Ravioli in meat sauce and added a meatball on a recommendation. It was awesome. The service here is friendly and waits seem to pass quickly. I really like this place and can’t wait to go back.

We went there on Valentine’s Day and is was super busy, which is to be expected. Despite it being busy, we got speedy service and the food was really good. We could tell the pasta was homemade. We will definitely be going there again when it’s less busy.

The best Eggplant Parmigiana I have had in years! The service was great even though they were very busy. Our waiter took good care of us and was very attentive. We stopped in before the Pink Martini concert at the Mount Baker Theater. We got there early which was a good idea as we weren’t the only ones who planned to to eat at D’anna’s before the show. I am so glad our friend picked D’anna’s for dinner. We are planning on going back very soon. I am looking forward to trying other dishes.

The only place I will go when I crave Italian. I have been taking out of town guests there since 2009! My brother insists on eating there when visiting from Ohio :) The specials are always delightful. I can’t really comment on any one dish b/c they all have been perfect.

This place is busy which usually means good. The wait wasn’t too bad, they have you put your name on a sign in sheet with how many are in your party. I had a vittilloni vesper for a drink it was excellent definitely good quality. We had the bruchetta as an appetizer it comes deconstructed and you stack it, the mozzarella tasted fresh, the basil and tomatoes were definitely fresh. Even the kids liked it. The cheese ravioli with alfredo were great, my picky eater loved it. The surf and turf was worth it, steak cooked to perfection and flavored well(my husband is never happy with it but he was this time). The shrimp was a little heavy on spices. I got the pancetta brandy chicken it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. The tiramisu was excellent and the cheesecake is perfection. Both desserts were so moist yet light

Your best bet for Italian food in Bellingham. Everything is made same day, including fresh pasta and ravioli’s. The Kalmari app is the best around. Other than the pasta and hand crafted sauces, highlights are the Chicken Marsala, the Duck, the Tuna and the Pork Chop Rib Loin. Anything that has the house made sausage in it is highly recommended. Its a busy place but the service is wonderful and the restaurant is cozy and warm. Nice selection of wine, beer and cocktails. Accept no substitute.

This is the BEST Italian food I’ve had outside of my 93 year old Italian mother-in-law’s kitchen New York. Plus, you can order your favorite, even if it’s not on the menu … and they’re happy to cook it for you. Excellent.

Stopped in for lunch with a group of six. It was our first time here so we all ordered different dishes to get a good sample of their menu. Salads with focaccia was included with lunch entrees and was delicious. Entrees were also on the mark. My favorites were the stuffed manicotti and eggplant parmigiana. Ravioli and fettuccini were also superb. Prices were also very reasonable. Service was just a tad slow but the server’s friendliness and attitude made up for it. Looking forward to returning

BESTFREAKINGRESTAURANTINBELLINHAM! I’ve been here twice now and both times, the food is out of this world! Last time, I got the lamb chops(around $ 25-ish for the entrée if I remember correctly). 3 pieces of delicious flavorful medium-grilled lamb. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the fluffy buttery potato gnocchi! Yes, I’ll admit that the food comes out slower than most restaurants but it’s well-made, high quality delicious food! Put down your phone and enjoy the company that’s with you.

I don’t think there’s a «bad» dish to be had at this restaurant. Everything I’ve tried is delicious and tastes home-made. The spinach ravioli is my favorite, but the roasted red pepper ravioli is a very close second. Their kid’s pasta dishes are great, my kids loved their(generous) bowls of yummy goodness. Our family all went here together recently and all 7 of us were gushing about how much we loved our dinners.

So, an average rating of 4 stars took my friends and I, to this restaurant. And, repentance followed. Service was slow. Mind you, it was lunch hours. We went in around 12. Well, hopefully the food would make up for it. But, nope. Disappointment followed all the way. I was really hungry and most food, at that point of time, would taste delicious. Surprisingly, this didn’t. I got the Bruscellone, which surprisingly wasn’t stuffed flank steak; it was this minced meat slob and visually, very unappetizing. My friends got their pasta dishes, one got the pesto, the other the marinara. Although, the pasta was pretty good, the sauces were a major let down. The food, and the restaurant in general, seemed very dated. They need to step up their game. The second star is simply because this Italian restaurant cares enough to put homemade pasta on the menu.

We were heading up this way from Seattle and my gal had a hankerin for Italian… I saw this place was rated the highest and now i know why! The food was outstanding and the ingredients taste truly fresh! I had the simple dish of spinach angel hair and my wife gnocchi with lots of veggies. Everything was great and the service was superb.

My partner and I ate here for dinner last night. Waited to be seated for about half an hour but we’re able to order drinks while we waited. We were seated by the door next to a window where the vent was blasting cold air onto my bare legs. We ended up using our coats as blankets to keep warm. Our meal started with the Calamari which was well seasoned and beautifully cooked. Not chewy, warm melt in your mouth delicious. Served with 2 lemon slices so you can add the amount of acid you need. Next came a free arugla salad and piece of cheesey bread. The dressing was good and the bread was delicious if nothing else could use a little more salt. We then had the Chanterelle Mushroom Gnocchi and Bruscellone. The Gnocchi’s flavor and texture were divine. The mushrooms underneath cooked with sweet peas left me craving for more. My partner tried a bite of my Gnocchi and immediately asked if we could switch plates half way through our meal. My partners Bruscellone had a great depth in flavor, I swear I was tasting that sausage for minutes after I had swallowed. It was a little on the dry side but other then that delicious. We finished about half of each plate and had them boxed up. Then we ordered the Tiramisu for dessert. It was pretty good. Not all the layers had been soaked evenly in the coffee so you could get a really dry bite or a soaked bite. It was however huge. We will be back, and we will request a different table !

We’re visiting Bellingham and saw that this restaurant was highly recommended. We were not disappointed! On arriving, it was crowded, but there wasn’t a host at the door. We saw a clip board, and added our name to the waiting list. The kitchen is in the center of the restaurant and open to the diners view. The air was filled with the tempting smell of marinara and spices. Our wait for a table was reasonable, and once seated, our waitress was friendly and responsive. We ordered the home made Ravioli but couldn’t decide which sauce. Our waitress suggested going half and half, which was a perfect solution. Salad came almost immediately, along with cheese bread. The main course took a little long, but since I ordered the Lasagna, that is to be expected. The food was hot, fresh, and amazingly delicious. I would recommend!

Seriously the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever tasted! The restaurant is pretty big and can fit a big party. The employees here are super friendly as well! No matter what you order, you will get a small pizza bread, which is DELICIOUS. Cooked at the perfect temperature, kinda crispy on the outside but soft on the inside once you take a bite. I usually get calamari as an appetizer and fettucine alfredo as my entrée. The calamari has a nice crunchy texture and the fettucine alfredo is very cheesy with lots of flavor! The nice thing about this restaurant also is that they hand make their own ravioli and pasta! I always try to come here whenever I can!

I had the spinach gnocchi and it was outstanding!!! They serve a complimentary starter salad which was also very good. Place was pretty busy on a Friday night, always a good sign :-)

Plus… knowledgeable pleasant waitress who forgets a few things. Relaxed & attractive ambience decent pesto and delicate pastas Italian cream soda is multo bene Chicken picata hit the mark… classically prepared Bummer…lettuce leaves sad and tired Underseasoned Wish they held the«everything is better with Freshly grated parmesan» attitude. It wasn’t busy but service was hit and miss. Bread was not aromatic, warm, fresh or enticing. I will definitely be back. It is a very solid 3 or soft 4. Iook forward to sampling other menu items. I know there are more gems amid the mediocre and trust the reviews of Unilocalers who I follow.
