:( This place used to be delicious. That had great pricing and amazing food. Second best Thai place in town behind On-Rice. I miss this place, but if you’re reading this I highly recommend On-Rice. It’s less than a block north on Samish. RIP Lemon Grass. You are missed!

The Pad Kee Mao I ordered here was greasy. It is the only noodle dish that I order at Thai restaurants, and they ruined it.

Another spot I stopped by many times. I also stop by here every time I can when I go to Vancouver BC. Price was about right, Food was great. Portions is right. Staff and service have been good to me.(on non busy times).

One of the best restaurants in Bellingham and the best Thai restaurant for sure. The food is fresh. The servers super nice. The price: very reasonable. You can really have a nice evening out and not break the bank. Lemon Grass is in my top 5 places to dine in Bellingham.

I LOVEDLEMONGRASS! WHEREDIDITGO! Once in a while I treat myself to Thai takeout. I always go to Lemongrass because it is awesome. I was disappointed when i called and found it is now supon’s. But i ordered my green curry anyway. They asked if i wanted rice, i said yes(duh! its curry). Well they did not tell me a total and i was shocked when my usual $ 9 meal was $ 16!!! Well i understand the economy is bad, but why do i have to be charged $ 2.50 for RICE!!! And Rice with curry!?! What did they expect me to do? Drink it? and they jacked up the price of the curry too! Ridiculous! I will NEVER go to supons again. At least on rice didnt raise their prices…

I used to snub Lemongrass for On Rice but, really, I like Lemongrass better! Their ingredients taste really fresh, there is never a wait, and their staff is quick and friendly. Their green curry is amazing and all their portions are huge! All meals come with rice and soup for dinner. All in all, I will come back here over On Rice anytime!

Tried this place thinking it might be better than on rice. I was wrong. The massamun curry had rancid peanuts, and the pad thai just didn’t compare. They wouldnt let us(group of 4) sit at a booth even though they werent occupied or reserved, and wouldn’t accomodate some dietary restrictions. Really, keep on walking to on rice for your thai on samish.

Fantastic Pad Thai!!! Not too fishy… the peanut sauce salad dressing is tasty and the Chicken Satay is seasoned perfectly. The staff is always extremely friendly… Definitely my favorite Thai Restaurant!

Aww, how I miss Lemon Grass! I used to go here pretty often when I was going to school at Western. This is very likely the best Thai place in Bellingham! The food is super tasty and the employees are friendly and nice. The Swimming Rama is amazingly tasty and they make a pretty mean pad thai as well. The salad that comes before the meal is awesome. I mean, a salad covered in peanut sauce? I’d eat that every day! Minus one star for those group tables where you have to take your shoes off. I don’t have a problem doing that, but somehow I always managed to wear shoes that took time to remove and put back on. Annoying…

I’ve been to a few Thai restaurants now in town and really like Lemon Grass. The staff is friendly, the prices are good, and the food is great. My favorite is either the Phad Kee Mao or Phad See Iew with tofu and 4-star spicy. I’ve taken many friends here and they’ve all enjoyed it.

Coming from California and some awesome Thai restaraunts, I was a little dissapointed with some of the cultural food offerings up here in Bellingham… then again, what was I supposed to expect? When it comes to Thai food, I think my favorite goes to Lemon Grass. As far as pricing, portions, atmosphere, selection, taste and authenticity when it comes to taste, I prefer Lemon Grass Café. The lunch specials rock as well. So coming here made me pretty happy. I love those tables that groups can sit on… you can sit crossed legged, and it also allows those who aren’t used to it to let their legs hang… genius!

Bellingham has a lot of options when it comes to Thai food. My favorite is probably Supon’s which is just outside of downtown on Dupont St. There are 4 more I have been to in town that I’m not going to list here… but I will make a Bellingham Thai list soon. Lemongrass is very good. I was always impressed with the food more than the service, but it’s definitely worth trying for yourself.

Dish for dish, some of the other Thai places in Bellingham might be a little better but this is good food and great value. Go at lunch and have Phad Thai for under $ 6. And that comes with soup and a delicious peanut salad!

This is a smaller thai restuarant in town, which competes with the other known thai restaurant, On Rice. They have a very traditional set up and it is ran by a family. The food here is definitely more authentic, I believe, because it is spicier and raw. That may be a poor way to describe it, but it’s hard to interpret. Let’s just say you can imagine yourself in Thailand, eating this from a local restaurant/marketplace. Pricing is equivalent to On Rice, around $ 10 – 15 per plate. Great spring rolls! Beautiful authentic décor.
