I stumbled upon this place and loved it. The IPA was perfect, inside it wasn’t super crazy, simple and just chill! Outside there is a food truck, cool little spot in bham

Really nice brewery with decent beers and an extensive seating area. Casual but inviting atmosphere for you and a friend or larger groups. Family friendly.

Wander brewing packs quite the punch(and that’s not just because their beer is primarily over 6 percent alcohol). With a great selection of beers it’s hard to pick just one! I opted for the flight and thoroughly enjoyed the blonde, mutt, and correspondent stout. To add to the experience, there’s a food truck right outside to ward off the drunchies. The always October and French fries paired awesomely with our flights.

This is a really brewery to check out, lots of seating, huge variety of quality beers and it’s really cozy. There’s a food truck outside that will serve food inside the brewery in case you’re hungry. I’m into lighter beers and really enjoyed the Belgian blonde. Of the heavier beers, I liked the stout on the back of the menu. Sorry! Forget what it’s called. Super fun time with friends

This place is one of a kind! It is worth the journey off the beaten path to get here. The beer is incredible but the people are what make this place!!!

Best IPA in town hands down. And everything else in on the mark too. The staff is great and it’s a chill place to hang year round.

Visited on a Saturday night and it was busy but we still found a table. This fits in the category of «wild west» breweries for me(eclectic location in an old warehouse, picnic table seating, kids and dogs wandering around and a food truck outside). We stayed for a while and played cribbage — could have stayed all night if we didn’t have dinner reservations!

Best beer in Bellingham! This brew hall has atmosphere with a groovy PNW vibe — don’t be thrown off by the location. Community seating means you’ll be sharing elbow space with other happy Bellinghamsters as you down one of Wander’s carefully crafted beers and some awesome grub from a cast of rotating food trucks. Can’t go wrong with the Uncommon California Common or the Shoe Toss IPA. Global Mutt Baltic Porter and Correspondent Foreign Extra Stout will get you through the winter. They almost always have a cider on a rotating tap for the gluten-free crowd, and they have growlers and bottles to go. Keep hitting it out of the park, Wander!

Great beer! Shoe Toss Rye IPA is my favorite, keep missing the Fresh Hop Ipa! Feels warm & friendly on a rainy day & sunny gathering outside in sunshine! Screens are only on for local sports & events, no politics! Did get a WABL stamp!

My favorite brewery in town. How do they have such delicious beers every time I go? Fun location, good people, good beer. What more can you want?

I’ve been coming to Wander since their opening day(I was the fifth person in line). Just yesterday, I found out that Wander has won a Gold Medal at GABF. Wander is, for me, my go-to brewery. I can always count on Wander to come up with something new and amazing, from their On The Spot IPA offerings, to their barrel aged beers, to their delicious fruit beers(the Millie, and more recently, the Puncheon series). Their regularly available IPA(the Shoe Toss), is not your normal hoppy beer, being a Rye IPA. And their California Common/Washington Uncommon beer is a favorite of my wife and I(we took home a six-barrel for our kegerator). True to Wander’s «road less traveled» philosophy, it’s a Steam beer. If you’re from Bellingham, and a lover of craft beer, I’m sure you’ve been to Wander. But if you’re not from Bellingham, and have time for only one brewery, make it Wander. It truly represents the best of our city’s burgeoning beer scene!

Atmosphere is great and they have a food truck parked out front if you are hungry. The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 was because they didn’t have many beers I wanted to try. I tried the uncommon California common and really enjoyed it! I really like ipas and they only had one rye ipa on the list when we stopped by. We will be back for sure next time we r in town!

As far as breweries go this place is typical, though still a great experience. The tasting area is located in the front of the warehouse with a large garage door that stays open for people to enter and exit, and a nice little outside area when the weather is nice. Food is served from a food truck where you pay, get a number, and take to your seat, and someone working probably from the truck delivers it. We weren’t hungry, but the food smelled great. I ordered the Shoe Toss IPA and was very happy with that selection. I thought it was the perfect embodiment of what an Indian Pale Ale should be. I would come again, though my friend said it was uncharacteristically busy; Probably due to it being first Friday and a beautiful day. Not all who Wander are lost.

Delicious! Their Baltic Mutt Porter(can’t quite remember the name) was fantastic. An amazing selection of unusual beers(sours, saisons, Bretts, California common, etc). I loved the sampler — good sizes & a great price($ 10 for 5?). Free pretzels & indoor/outside seating.

Classic Bellingham! Pros? –Their samplers are pretty much the same price as getting a beer, a rare feat at most places –Good and unusual beers –Food trucks out front are typically delish Cons? –Well… their door likes to get stuck open, so it can be chilllyyy in the winter

We Wandered in on a Wednesday afternoon to taste the offerings of this new brewery on the Bellingham scene. Wander isn’t brand new, but they haven’t hit their first anniversary just yet. We grabbed a seat at the bar and began to review the options available. We decided to go with two flights to really get the best idea of what Wander was up to. Each beer was delicious and it was hard to pick one favorite of the bunch. Like most breweries around my own neck of the woods, they have a rotating food truck there to keep you fed. Or as I like to say — keep your BA level balanced. The guy pulling taps that day was super helpful with telling us about their beer but also offering recommendations about the surrounding area. Super nice guys at Wander and I wish them many years of success.

I’m pretty sure this is my new favorite brewery in Bellingham — they are simply doing it right, each and every time, and I haven’t had a klunker yet. My absolute favorite is their Washington Uncommon California Common, followed closely by their Belling-Hammer Wee Heavy and their Global Mutt Porter. The setting is nice, too, in an old industrial building which has been preserved and turned into a combination brewery/tasting room. They also have outdoor seating, which(perhaps due to its location near Whatcom Creek?) it always about 10 degrees cooler than any other location in Bellingham on a hot summer day. Food-wise you are likely to find one of your favorite food trucks parked outside, too.

Excellent, well crafted, full bodied ales. This is by far the best brewery in Bellingham with the most unique veriety of brews on the menu. Every beer I’ve had has been better then the next. Everything from their Coffee Porter to their Siason has been outstanding. After traveling through the west coast and clear through Germany, I can honestly say I have never been to a brewery with so many well crafted brews that I’ve enjoyed. I find that breweries tend to be good at one type of beer, but Wander is the exception: they are good at ALL types of beer. They do not have a kitchen, but they often have a food truck available for quick bites. All the food trucks they choose pair well with the ales they have, and are quick and tasty. The seating inside and outside is relaxed and enjoyable, with hand crafted wood tables. This makes Wander a great location for a chill afternoon, with friends, food, and good brews.
