Pizza Mondo is a great place to stop and get a quick bite in Bend, or order delivery. They have great meat combinations and vegetarian choices. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of seating options as it is a small restaurant, but it’s SO worth it!

Great pizza and they were very accommodating for out hockey team. They let us all order ahead of time and then delivered to the hotel. The delivery guy was very nice and handled the large order and multiple transactions very smoothly

This place has great food. Calzone is huge. I find sauce to be an important element of a Calzone and their«gravy» is awesome. If you like a fresh Caesar salad with a dressing with depth. This is the best one in Bend bar far.

Don’t believe the Mondo pizza reviews — their pizza is so lame, wouldn’t last 2 days in NYC — soggy crust, expensive for nothing. Mondo is «in» because of the«cool» name. And the service is awful.

This place is awesome if you are looking for quick delicious pizza and have a big appetite. The slices are huge, and for the price you pay you get a ton of food! They also have a really good Lunch special and the«After Mountain» special. I was a little disappointed by the garlic knots as I’m usually a big fan of garlic bread but these just didn’t taste nearly as good as they sounded. I’m definitely a fan and will be coming back here again next time I’m in the area.

At long last, and after many visits to pizza joints in Bend, I think I may have found one of the best and the locals favorite! I stopped in here famished after a day of holiday shopping. I was hangry, tired, and overwhelmed by their full menu — but so very pleased to see they had slices that looked delicious. I ordered a slice of the pork and pineapple pizza and a beer. The helpful cashier informed me that it would be cheaper to order TWO slices and the beer, which would come to a meager $ 7.50! Seriously, who can turn that down? I got an additional veggie slice, waited a moment as they reheated the slices, and sidled up to the bar to cure my holiday blues. The pizza is deliciously close to New York pizza pie perfection. Thin, crispy crust that you can fold in half, just the right amount of toppings, and surprisingly easy to consume two giant slices in one sitting. Mondo is definitely a tiny space, and I enjoyed seeing the variety of patrons: from families to the elderly couple sharing a slice and writing out the addresses on the Christmas cards to their grandkids. I will definitely be back to sample more of Pizza Mondo’s offerings, and glad I finally found an inexpensive delicious pizza option in Bend.

This place is great for New York style pizza, fast. The place is tiny! Put its so good, it’s totally cramming in there for a slice. The staff is really friendly too. I just wish they would get a bigger location.

Great staff and tasty pizza. Quality of crust makes the pizza here. I love anchovies and they piled them on here. Sat outside with a cold one and pizza and enjoyed the crowd walking by. Highly recommend.

I was traveling from CA to ID& stopped in Bend for the night. I’m not familiar with the area so I relied on the Internet to help find a pizza for delivery. Their Internet page said they were voted best every year they’d been in business. I think they lied. I might as well have had Little Cesar’s(at less than a quarter of the price).

I always make a point to get a rosemary potato pizza when I come to ride Mt Bachelor. Great crust, sauce and overall consistency, period. I’ve only gotten mine to-go, but will dine-in next time and try their side salad. Yum!

Amazing good pizza! Best pizza I’ve had was the luau one with pulled pork BBQ pineapple and peppers that were suppose to be hot but it was a tad spicy nothing that the kids can’t have :) so sweet!

Love the quick service at the downtown location. The thin crust slices are great for a lunch on foot. Don’t let a line scare you off… it goes quick. With always a handful of options ready to go, a slice goes for about $ 3.50 or less. Very friendly service with a smile. Make sure to get a punch card; you’ll be back.

They wouldn’t deliver because we live 2 blocks past empire which is their boundary line, it was a friday night but I didn’t care to wait even 2 hours if that’s what it took. I live only a 10 minute drive from the place, literally only 10 minutes, so I’m closer than others they deliver to, but they refused to deliver, even after requesting to speak with the manager, who refused to speak to me until AFTER they were closed. We had our mother in law visiting from California and willing to shell out the $ for this way overpriced pizza, we only try to order from here like once a year and they still wouldn’t help us out. Further, they are fake organic, almost nothing they offer is organic, and they actually sell PUREGMO ranch packets, they DON’T even make their own, which is a HUGE reflection of how terrible this place really is. They try to make it look like they are organic when in reality they only have a few organic items. Let me say that again, PURE, 100% GMO, processed packets of commercial ranch, that’s what they have here folks, this place is a JOKE, ripping people off with insanely high prices, because they’re a popular place with a great location. Some of the worst customer service I can imagine. If they are so busy you think they could afford to hire extra delivery drivers and make exceptions once in a while. They should go out of business for not knowing the first thing about how to run a business.

I am a bit of a pizza snob. Generally, when people rave about a pizza place it’s no better than mediocre. This is my #2 pizza place(#1 in Oregon). It only comes second because I found the holy grail of pizza places when I was in college. My fiancé and I stopped in for a slice, and ended up ordering one special to spilt. It was $ 5.50 for two large pizza slices and a bottomless soda. We added on four garlic knots for $ 3.50. The pizza was wonderful down to every last ingredient. The thin crust was firm, not floppy or soggy. The sauce was flavorful without overpowering the meat and cheese. As for the garlic knots, I could make a whole meal out of those. We will definitely stop in for a slice the next time we are in town.

Two-timer. So far it’s my wife’s favorite pizza joint in all of bend and redmond. The search continues. Specialty pizzas are TAYSTEEEE. Place gets rather packed for being somewhat of a hole in the wall, but the pizza so far is unbeatable. Check it downtown

The crust is flavorless and tough. Flavor combinations(toppings) are interesting. But overall, not well executed. Delivery is now limited by their new computer system. Prior to being outside the delivery zone… pizza took an hour to arrive and arrived luke warm. The location on NW Wall is small and uncomfortable. It’s not cozy. It’s not quaint. The opening & closing of the door — especially in the winter — is inconvenient to who ever is sitting down to eat — many people had their jackets on or over their shoulders. Once you find yourself West of the Mississippi, it’s VERYHARD to find a great pizza.

So, I can’t give a well rounded review due to the fact that I get the same thing every time I go here. But every. single. time. I get a slice of pizza, I’m always blown away with how yummy it is! Most«pizza by the slice» joints just have the sliced pizza under a warming light and then yank out a piece and slap it in on your plate when one is ordered. Mondo has a little quick oven they put your slice in and when you get it, it tastes like they just made it! The slices are large with a thin, slightly crispy crust. This makes them soooo easy to eat! No floppy pizza slices here! It’s located in the heart of downtown, and it’s pretty cool inside. Definitely a local vibe, always pretty clean and the staff is great. I love looking at all of the event posters on the side wall. It’s cozy and welcoming, but on the smaller side. I usually don’t have a problem finding a seat, but I don’t think I’ve been there during their rush hours. Seating is a mix of tables and booths. Yet again, another Oregon establishment that serves Pepsi as their fountain cola choice instead of Coca-Cola. They do, however, somewhat redeem themselves with Cokes in a can from their soda fridge… you just can’t get refills on these. I still buy them instead of nasty Pepsi. I take my cola very seriously ;) ;) The prices are totally reasonable and they have great lunch specials, happy hours and late night specials, too! Whether you’re visiting Bend or live here, this is definitely the place to go for pizza!

Outraged, I had to stick it out just to rate it as a whole. When I first called in my order for delivery, I was on hold for 10 minutes and 18 seconds. Fed up, I hung up and called back. 11 minutes into the second call, someone finally answered. Now, the staff was incredibly friendly and the delivery time was quoted as 30minutes. It got to my hotel in 17minutes 38seconds. Yes, after a 20 minute wait time on the phone, I ran a timer. The food was ok. Cold but pretty good. The garlic knots were obviously not freash but still had a good taste. Overall, it wasnt the experience and I’ve certainly had better pizza. I wouldn’t order here again…

If you’re looking for a solid pizza join in Bend, this is it. Pizza Mundo is great for an evening out with friends and they sell beer on tap at the restaurant. you can either sit and eat at the restaurant(although there aren’t many seats during peak hours), or you can enjoy your pizza take-out style. The portions and slices are HUGE and a Large pizza is plenty for four people. They will even let you split the pizza into various toppings, which was nice! We ordered the Mondo Pesto and the Run Little Piggy and both were delicious — my favorite probably being the Mondo Pesto. If you go during peak hours, you might have to wait a bit to get your pizza, but it comes fresh out of the oven and is oh-so-tasty. They also sell their dough solo(for dipping in sauces) and its pretty darn good! I’m a fan :-)
