We needed a place to accommodate 18 people. Didn’t want to go to pizza as that would be the only place in Bend on a Saturday night that could accommodate. A friend suggested Wubbas and we called them to see if we could get in. They told us yes to come on in. I’ve found my new favorite BBQ! Service was excellent, food was excellent and we will definitely be back. Bridge 99 beer they serve is great too! My new Favorite!

Ordered takeout tonight, the pulled pork was good and so were the baked beans, but the St. Louis style ribs were horrible, very rubbery and bad. They got our order wrong, it was supposed to be the baby back ribs, but when I got home and realized they messed up, I wasn’t going to drive all the way back. We wanted to order from The Poor House, but they only smoke on Sundays. I would order pulled pork and beans again, but stay away from the ribs.

This place has amazing food. The wings were smokey and had a great buffalo sauce, the ribs were to die for and the sides equaled it all out. Best bbq spot I’ve had since Podnahs in Portland!

We ordered the deep-fried pickle spears and the judges’ combo plate to split. The food came out promptly, our server was attentive and helpful when we had questions about the menu, and they happened to be showing my baseball game on their big screen over the bar, which was a nice bonus. The sweet tea was excellent, as were the pickles. We loved the pulled pork and the ribs, as well as both sides we ordered(mashed potatoes and barbecue beans). We weren’t as wild about the brisket, which was a bit on the fatty and underseasoned side, and the chicken, which was all white meat, but none of it was bad and we cleaned our plate. I’m in Bend probably three times per year, and I’ll likely be back for more pork and pickles, if nothing else.(Oh, and maybe some more of that sweet tea!)

I love Wubba’s because it’s not an overly fancy, try-hard, ruin-good-food-to-look-cool type of place. Just great BBQ food with tons of room to sit, kind servers, and a good variety of food choices.

Came to Wubbas Wednesday night ordered Togo because we’re gonna eat near the river. We got the combo plate w ribs and double chicken with the beans and garlic mash and an order of the corn fritters which had its own homemade butter spread. The service was good. The restaurant is clean and the staff was very friendly. Had our meal by the river and it was delicious had enough to eat the rest for breakfast tomorrow Glad to have found this little gem

My family and I LOVE this place… absolutely the best BBQ in Bend! Great food, nice staff. The Prime Rib on Fridays melts in your mouth. The only thing I tried that wasn’t great was the baked potato, but maybe the cook just over did them that day, it was dry and crunchy… more like a twice baked potato skin… everything else has been amazing! Please support this business, we need good BBQ.

It’s nice to have a casual+ place on this end of town. I know lots of people who walk here for dinner. You might need to walk, because the parking can be very, very difficult. I always enjoy the food, but I think they could choose a different bun to put sandwiches on. The buns now are just bland. Great smoked meats, delicious sauces. My husband always likes dishes made from their prime rib. Often they have berry cobbler — my favorite! Great beer selection, especially local beers. Very friendly service. Very clean and nice ambiance.

I love this place! The food is amazing and even better their kids meals are great and priced super low $ 4.99 for ribs, fries and a drink amoung other stuff. You can’t even get a crapy kids meal at a fast food joint for that. The service is great and staff is wonderful and I have never been disappointed with my food EVER! We go there often and always have a great time. Today though the service was super slow and we were there for over an hour, waiting mostly. There was plenty of staff and they were not over busy but it seemed like they were training some guy the hard way. He was taking almost all the tables and I felt bad for him. This one hick up will not change my feelings about the place, we still love it! Lastly, GETTHECORNFRITTERSTHEYAREFROMHEAVEN!

My friends and I used to meet here but no longer do. I always ordered the rib combo and always enjoyed it! They are delicious and tender! Problem was, everyone that didn’t order ribs was ALWAYS disappointed. Honestly I don’t blame them, the food was mediocre at best with exception of the ribs and the banana cream pie at the end! Hard to rate this one so I give it three stars. Stick to the ribs and dessert and you’ll be happy otherwise… Good luck.

The only thing that sets Wubba’s apart from any other bbq place you stumble upon is their Fritters, but seems like a crap shoot on whether or not they will be out. If you aren’t craving fritters than I suggest going to whatever bbq place in Bend that is closest. Service was a little off tonight, but I have been here before and didn’t have an issue.

This place is nothing great. It’s ok. Spent nearly $ 50 for two meat platters. Expected more for the price. But their restaurant is very clean.

Went to Wubba’s the first time on Wednesday for a huge 30 top bday party. Service was amazing, even the manager worked on her day off to help the staff. The food was awesome and they even have an extensive vegetarian menu! I will be back for sure!

My husband ordered take out from here… a very weird and rude experience calling the order in… I was almost nervous to have him go pick up the the food! But it was pretty good! I had a burrito thing. filled with rice and beans and bbq meats. really good size and very tasty. Hubby had the tri tip sandwich and said he liked his too. I had a side of corn fritters which other reviewers said were bland, but I found them to be really tasty. especially dipped in the honey butter they give you. I would definitely go back. .but I think they need to be a bit nicer on the phone and sounds like from other reviewers, nicer in house as well.

I love the service, atmosphere and best of all– the food! The staff goes out of their way to be awesome and provide you with everything you need. My husband has been going to Wubba’s every Saturday for over a year now and never a bad experience. We had our rehearsal dinner there with 20+ people and everything was spot on. No one had any complaints about the food or had any issues with anything. I also love seeing all of their specials and daily deals on Facebook :) Sometimes, I just don’t know what I’m making for dinner… Thank you Wubba’s for being awesome!

Our experience at Wubba’s was very so-so. I have nothing overly positive or negative to say. Our server was friendly and attentive but the service for dinner to get to our table was very slow. Our dinners were just okay food. We ordered the tri-dip sandwich, Wet Wubba sandwich, and kids ribs. We may give them another try in the future but this visit was not great.

First off, Food took almost an hour from order, St. Louis ribs were cold(If the bone is cold, it’s cold) Baby backs and St Louis both had membrane left on, and that’s says the kitchen is either lazy, or don’t know what they’re doing… significant no-no for a BBQ joint. Menu is a bit strange, no ordering food by the lb(a la carte) Only one style BBQ sauce, pit beans were just beans in bbq sauce with a ton of black pepper and the rare piece of meat. Corn fritters needed to be salted at the very least, and could certainly use a kick in the spice dept. Also had pulled pork and chopped beef(No brisket on the menu) and all could stand a better dry rub and some more smoke. For a place claiming to be a KCBBQ joint, apparently nobody has tried a «real» KC style BBQ or KC sauce. For reference, I had a BBQ brewpub, and have cooked over 20,000 racks of ribs as well as multiple tons of pork & brisket. I made 5 different sauces from scratch, including a yellow Carolina mustard sauce for pork. I’ve had Carolina, Memphis, St. Louis and Texas BBQ. I know a few things about«great» BBQ, and this didn’t reach the«good» level.

I had a great lunch here on 7÷7÷14. I had the Wet Wubba, which is BBQ beef and pulled pork sauced together and topped with deep fried onion straws. It was good! My coworkers had a tri-tip dip and a hogs back which is pulled pork Sammie topped with cole slaw. If you like cole slaw– and I do– get it here– it’s good! My coworker got fries and they looked good as well. Servers were nice and all smiles– If you’re on the east side of Bend, check out WUBBA’S!
