Everything was awesome! We had bacon wrapped dates, crab cakes, steak, an Asian dish, and chocolate torte cake. They accommodated my son and made a cheese quesodilla. Everything was delicous and the service was friendly and quick.

Came in out of the rain to a warm friendly cozy environment. Limited wine list but found a good bottle. Food was delicious especially the burrata salad and the hanger steak. Service a little bit slow but great vibe and very enjoyable meal.

We found this little place on Unilocal and decided to stop for an early dinner on our way to the Mount Washington Hotel for a weekend getaway just 20 minutes down the road. We’re both vegetarian so we were really happy to see a nice selection of vegetarian plates on the menu. We split the black bean cakes and«the stack». Both were really well executed and presented beautifully. The black bean cake dish in particular was off-the-charts delicious. Perfect texture, really yummy flavors and garnished exquisitely. All the flavors come together amazingly well. If you’re unsure about trying this because you’re worried it might be «just another black bean burger thing»… worry ye not… it is nothing like any black bean burger thing you have ever had before. We liked this little spot so much, we came back on Sunday for their final brunch before closing for mud season. We split the salmon crepes and the waffles. Perfect! I highly recommend that as a combo to split with your better(or even worse) half. Service was very friendly, gracious and always with a smile. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and expert preparation you’re getting. Our only regret is that we didn’t try the desserts. We’ll just have to return to correct that.

This café is really cute. They showcase different artist, adding some great color to the place. I had the curried cauliflower soup and the salmon dill goat cheese quiche. If you’re not a big salmon fan, this might be a little too salmon-y. The quiche crust was awesome.

Treasure, gold pot at the end of the rainbow, the brass ring, call it what you will, but this place is a find. Never had a bad meal here and we’ve been coming for… a longtime. First time, we were just passing through on a ski trip, every other time has been to get back to Cold Mt Café. Told to order the black bean cake, despite initial reservations I am forever grateful for that tip-it’s really amazing, crave-worthy. Every time we go we try something else, always pretty damn perfect. Save room for dessert, there’s some pretty serious pastry cred back in that kitchen, prepare to swoon.

We stopped in for brunch on Valentine’s Day and had a WONDERFUL meal! The service was excellent! The food was excellent! It was an all around great experience. I had the quiche and my husband had the ham, cheese, apple and honey mustard sandwich which he can’t stop raving about! Highly, highly recommended!

This was a chance find but a great one. We went last Thursday for lunch. Service– immediate. Drinks– served ice cold(my wife had a cider and me a monkey fist IPA). I had a chicken quesadilla and my wife had a chicken sandwich(baguette). Both were delicious. No other words necessary, very happy, and compliments to Kate!

Loved this place!!! We were staying in Sugar Hill and found this place on Unilocal. What a gem! The Cold Mountini was quite strong, but very tasty. The crab cakes were probably the best I’ve ever had. The pork entrée was ok as I’m not crazy about cranberries on my meat. The savory salad was also great with plenty of blue cheese and walnuts. Definitely recommend making the drive to this place!

When we travel I don’t like to eat at the same place twice. So many restaurants so much great food. But we did this time, Had brunch on Sunday and dinner on Thursday . Both were delicious. The tuna salad on Sunday was close to perfect. Not too much mayonnaise. Beautiful presentation. Tuna on mixed greens, even a flower. I loved the salad dressing on the side, too Dinner I had the eggplant stak? mixed vegetables with a pesto sauce We also had the fish special … Flaky, tender, moist not a tartar sauce fan, but have to say it was good. For dessert the hummingbird cake. Nice cream cheese with nuts frosting. Sat outside beautiful night . The server was very charming from Denmark.

The black bean signature dish was delicious, along with the crab cakes as an appetizer. The combo left me stuffed. My girlfriend had the eggplant stacked dish and she thought the black bean dish I ordered was better. I would probably come back if I have a higher paying job considering it was a bit out of my price range. Overall good food but the prices are higher than most.

A unique menu and very accommodating. They offered a variety of items for kids not on the menu. We were a party of 9 and called ahead for a reservation. Service was excellent. We had just about everything on the regular menu. Portion sizes were generous and flavor was very good on all the dishes. Best item was the Mediterranean Tort from their special menu.

Bet dining experience in the location hands down. Came here with my family while on vacation. Table of 7 so we ate lots of different dishes. Everyone enjoyed theirs and we all tried eachothers! Only complaint would be service. Our server wasn’t very knowledgeable about menu items or questions we had about certain preparations about dishes. Either way, very recommendable! Again, best in the area. 9⁄10

I ate here with a friend on the second night at a stay at the Omni Bretton Arms Inn(part of the huge complex of the Omni Mount Washington Resort). After a disappointing meal and somewhat disastrous experience(for the price) at the Mount Washington Resort’s Rosebrook Bar, this restored my good faith in restaurants which serve excellent, healthy fare for an honest price. I loved the salmon SOMUCH! Very delicious and reasonably priced. Can’t tell you how glad I am that I didn’t eat at Stickney’s up the hill where the salmon was 39 bucks. Salads featured fresh, local ingredients. Such a change from the Omni’s Rosebrook food again. The restaurant is quite small, but there is a lot of space on the patio. I’d love to see the flooring changed to match the rest of the bright colors and the generally fabulous funky hippy arty vibe. I loved the art on the walls and wanted to buy every painting displayed. Bathrooms, equally funky, arty, and cute. Bar has hundreds of coins from all over the world as its top. I don’t drink, but it is a fun thing to see. Waitstaff was excellent. I did not like my dessert, too sweet, but still it was well-made. Definitely worth a visit. I will go back if I’m ever up that way again.

The staff is super friendly and they had a nice beer/wine selection. The menu is fantastic but the delivered results fall a bit short. Eggplant stack was sumptuous but lacked flavor, and the potato was a bit undercooked. Pork– same comment: tender, could have had more flavor. That said, great attentive staff made it a good time.

My husband and I recently spent 5 nights at the Mountain View Grand resort and we wanted to venture out for dinner on one of those nights, so we looked up this restaurant on Unilocal. After reading several strongly positive reviews, we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The restaurant is small but cozy. It was dimly lit which added to the cozy ambiance. There were lovely wildflowers at our table, which was situated in the front by the window(great for people watching). The menu offers some imaginative and enticing options. We ordered the«torte» taco dip appetizer. Taco dip in the shape of a slice of cheesecake? Sold! It was delicious. My husband ordered the catfish special for his entrée, and I ordered the Indian spiced lamb stew for mine. Both were very flavorful and piping hot. The ingredients were fresh and overall the dishes were well prepared. Finally, for dessert, we ordered the tiramisu. It was outstanding! I’m so very glad we looked to Unilocal for a recommendation… otherwise we would never have found this tucked-away gem!

i came up to NH from NJ for the weekend to climb Mt Washington. Stayed at the lovely Omni Mt washington hotel. my group wanted to find a place for dinner not as pricey as the dinner menu at the hotel which would have costed 50 and up per person so we ventured out. found this place via Unilocal reviews. very surprised to find the place nearly empty on a saturday night but it didn’t change my experience. in fact, i liked that not many people were there. the menu is simple. bout a page long but had some interesting choices me and one friend ended up having the black bean cake which was delicious. a large black bean patty(warm) served over salad and goat cheese and a delicious ginger dressing. i was satisfied. i also tried my other friend’s dishes. one had the tortilla pie and another had the eggplant dish and they were both amazing!!! would def try it again if i ever come back to this area. i also had Maine Root Orange soda(which i have never heard of the brand) but the orange soda was so delicious– i had two! a friend had the blueberry and said it was great as well meals were about 10 – 15 bucks. we also spent no more than 20 bucks per person. we were delighted to have such a great meal for a great value! thank you cold mountain café!

It was good… probably the best in the Notch area… I had the black bean cake, while it was good… I would not go as far as to say wow. The caprese salad was an offshoot of a traditional caprese but with an eclectic twist. I probably would have enjoyed the original better. The dessert … Well they failed to tell me that it included coconut and I dislike coconut. It seemed like they were trying a bit hard to be Nuevo. Keep it simple is my advise. The price tag for two with two glasses of wine, two appetizers and two desserts in addition to the meal … Nearing $ 100. And sorry folks … Just cash!

So good! This is a real hidden gem– a lot like the James beard winner Hen in the Woods in VT! Get there early by 530 because they don’t take reservations or credit cards I wanted to marry my pork tenderloin it was so good. A real find!
