We stumbled upon the Little Grille after a long day of allowing the Cannon Ski area to destroy us. We were cold and hungry and needed some food to go with our main course which was to be Aleve tablets. I was delighted when I found some shrimp tacos on the menu and they were soooo good. Here are the high points of my meal. 1. The rice/bean side: Typically when you go to a Mexican restaurant and order anything, you always end up with this obligatory rice/bean side situation in conjunction with the thing your ordered that you actually want to eat. I personally never know what to do with the stuff, because eating it really isn’t necessary. So, as to be expected, my Little Grille tacos came with the rice/bean side, however, I was pleasantly surprised because it actually looked like they had spent a little time on it, and upon further investigation, which means I took a bite, I also discovered that it tasted awesome! Yup, that rice/bean side was delish. I actually ended up eating more of that than my tacos. 2. The little cup of sour cream: Let’s get real. We all like sour cream and want it with our tacos. Little Grille puts it right there on the plate so you don’t have to waste time asking for it. Thanks Little Grille. 3. The tortillas: Little Grille spent some time on these tortillas, I don’t know what they did to them, but they certainly did not just slip them out of the El Azteca bag, toss them on my plate, and call it a day. They were warm, crispy and full of goodness. My husband ordered a hamburger. He asked the server which she would recommend and she was like — ‘all of them’. So he ordered all of them. Just kidding, he just ordered one. But he really liked it and scarfed the whole thing down. He really liked the fries too– they reminded him of the fries his dad used to serve at his restaurant on Tybee Island off of the Georgia coast. So hope you are in the mood for some beach-y fries. I tried one too– I approve. On a non-food note, I couldn’t really resonate with the theme of the restaurant. I would have never walked away thinking they were Brazilian. It’s in a train depot– so of course my brain when straight to Fried Green Tomatoes or something super country. I would suggest not spending energy on trying to figure them out. Just eat the food and leave. Also, don’t use the door that is connected to parking lot. We might have just missed a sign or something, but this is not a door people use– and we know this because all of the patrons, who were presumably locals, looked at us like we were a couple of cows waltzing into the Gap or something. Save your self the trouble and swing around to the side of building and use the door that will bring less awkward moments. Also, women using the bathroom… It locks like a one-staller, but has two stalls on the inside. I never know what to do in these situations. The girl before more locked it, but I left it unlocked… Choose your own adventure.

the Brazilian barbecue was fantastic as well as the Maqueca! I think that’s what to order here — the Mexican fare I found good but more ordinary on a previous visit. Very good Margarita though!

We stopped in on a rainy Tuesday at lunch. There were three other tables with 2 – 4 diners each, one already digging into their meals and the other two with drinks already served. My husband ordered the chicken chimichanga and I ordered the Brazilian beef«burger“with no lettuce/tomato. No lie, we waited 45 minutes for our food. The chimichanga was smothered in some weird aoili mayo that not only ruined the crispiness of the tortilla, it overwhelmed the taste of everything else. The chimi was square, which meant there was a lot of wasted tortilla and less filling than we would get at even a cheap Mexican restaurant. My burger came with the lettuce and tomato in spite of my request to leave them off. The meat was tender, but everything was just warmish. We won’t be back. The older waitress was hard to track down to refill our tea, but the younger waitress(not the one who took our order-that was the older one) was attentive even though it wasn’t her table.

It could be a very cool place with a little effort. The staff was nice enough but the place lacked some energy. It was pretty cold and it wasn’t even winter outside. The food was pretty good(fish tacos) and I heard the burgers are great. All in all I liked the place and the character of it.

Wow. Sangria? Superb. The Brazilian Stew? Delicious. The unexpected and complimentary chips and salsa? Both homemade and I wanted to buy jars of the smoky, fresh salsa. The waiter? Handsome and sweet. It’s a shame I’m passing through on a road trip or I’d be a regular

We eat here about once a month. Great nachos and fajitas. Nice little bar for a cocktail while you wait for your table. Service had usualy been good. The Brazilian BBQ is good as well. Prices are reasonable, décor could use a little sprucing up.

We have driven by this place so many times. And each time I said«Wow– a Brazilian BBQ restaurant way out here! We should try it sometime.» Well that time finally was right and so the BF, me and friend went in for dinner. It has lots of different foods, and based on the Unilocal reviews, we should have done Mexican or salads or burgers. But It was on a Friday night and they had the all –u-can eat Brazilian BBQ buffet. So after looking at the buffet we decided to try it. The buffet had a salad, some salad additions like croutons, cheese and some dressing. A plate of cold rolls and butter. On the hot buffet was black beans, white rice, summer squash(yellow and green) sauteed together, fettuccine Alfredo and cheesy mashed potatoes. Of course the meat would be brought around as it was cooked. As we were waiting I was looking around and the food looked pretty good. No one else was having the buffet at the time but us, or were resting but the Mexican food looked really good. The wait staff were friendly and prompt and it seemed like a great place to hang out. The sangria was good and we were looking forward to the meal. Sadly, it was only mediocre. Very mediocre. The salad was fine, the rolls were hard(been out too long), the black beans had NO seasonings, tasted just like black beans poured from the Goya can and heated. Rice was overcooked with no flavor — no salt cooked in that! Summer squash was the best out of that section as fresh, but again, so seasoning so bland. Fettuccine Alfredo(now why would that be in a Brazilian BBQ? No idea but it was bland, sticky and again not seasoned at all. The mashed potatoes where stiff and over mashed– had to smack the spoon against the side of the plate to get it to come of to my plate. So not a great beginning. Then the meat. Brazilian rodizio is a style that is cooked at a high heat over skewers and salted/seasoned to keep the juices in and not burn. But not here. No salt. Nothing. Pichana(strip steak) — the best. I was able to get that medium rare to rare. Ate mostly that after trying the others. Chicken and Pork Sausages — overcooked Chicken Wrapped in Bacon — overcooked Marinated Pork — so overcooked could barely chew Sirloin Wrapped in Bacon — pretty good — hard to get med rare Garlic Sirloin — ok and a few others. I think it was $ 25 or so per person and it just wasn’t worth it. However, I would try it again but never for that. Go to where they know what to do. They were trying to do it, and had much of it in place, but the strength of this Brazilian dinner is lots of meats coming around and lots of people eating, Not making it as table by table as people order it. It was a good try but not a success. I will definitely review again when we try something different.

Found this place on our way through town. Cute building and nice outdoor seating area, but it was too hot out that day so we sat inside. Had the southwest and apple walnut lunch salads with boneless buffalo wing appetizer. All in all the food was good. Nothing groundbreaking, but tasty and fresh. Service was also good. Waitress was attentive, but not overly so. Never had to ask for drink refills, which is a pet peeve of ours. There were a couple things that detracted from the experience not food or service related — both our appetizer and my salad were served on plates with large chips in them(the app plate had several) where the porcelain was completely gone and the bare ceramic underneath was exposed. Our table was very wobbly, so much so that a folded napkin couldn’t correct it. The carpeted floor had large runs and frayed spots in it. Lastly, the ladies room had two stalls with only curtains to close yourself in. They were heavy curtains but still did not feel very secure or private.

Absolutely delicious impromptu lunch stop. We started with the chili — which was perfect and served with fresh, warm tortilla chips. They have a great selection of burgers, burritos, tacos and salads. My husband and I shared the chili … Then he enjoyed a full order of fish and chips and I had the half Apple walnut salad and with chicken. Our daughter ordered the hot dog off the kids meal … And she loved every bite —

We tried to visit on 7÷26÷13 but they were closed inexplicably as my earlier review laments. Happily, we found them open this time. I’d give them average marks. The menu is largely Mexican but yet they don’t present themselves as a Mexican restaurant – weird. My burrito was quite good. The restaurant seemed like it could use some cleaning or sprucing – maybe it was just the carpets which were bringing the whole place down. And we were pretty bummed they don’t even give you a plate of nacho chips or a roll while you wait. So it felt a little stark as a dining experience. They do seem to have a full bar, but they don’t tell you this. I’m thinking maybe this is more of a locals spot rather than an attraction for out of towners? It’s too bad because the little depot building its in seems like it should be an absolute tourist draw! It’s so cute with most of its original details intact!

This was our second choice for fish and chips but we sat at the 1st spot for 20 minutes without a menu and left. This place is reasonably priced and the fish and chips were fantastic. We got our food within 20 minutes and the service was top notch. Nice ambiance and good margaritas to boot.

Found this little place in the middle of Littleton NH. Open for lunch so we decided to try it. We both had the fish sandwich which was outstanding. The other dishes coming out looked amazing. The beer on tap was local and yummy. I would say the service was a little slow and disjointed. Our waitress was great but the hostess was frenetic and not helpful. She seated us in a rush and when my husband inquired about kids menu and she walked away. Once we got our food all was fine as it was clear is the food was fresh, well prepared and reasonably priced. A good find in a small town.

Because Little Grille is right on the snowmobile trail we stopped here several nights for dinner between Jan –March. We always sat in the bar area which is a quieter than the main dining room. The service was always good… we had the same server on a couple of occasions and she always offered us to put our gear by the gas fireplace to warm it up and she even remember what kind of dressing for my salad. Our meals were good and always came out hot and made with fresh ingredients. My favorite is the Dirty Mexi burger… great flavors and the fajitas. Looking forward to riding again next winter so we can stop again… we do live in town but it is much better going on the sleds(no kids. :-))

Let me get started by saying Brazilian BBQ is my favorite thing on earth. Now, let me say that this place is god awful. The food is mediocre at best and the service is sub par. I ordered the BBQ buffet, and like most Brazilian places, all of the food is served table side on swords. Unlike most Brazilian BBQ places however, the food is bland, cold, are hard to come by. I had to wait 15 minutes between courses and the portions are ridiculously small. Chicken and steak are my only options and neither are very good. When we spoke to the manager on duty, she was very unprofessional and asked us «what did we expect.» Over all my experience here was quite poor and I won’t be coming back

Sub par food and service. We ate a here a couple months ago. The chicken was undercooked. We sent it back and they recooked it. After we received the bill, we asked to have the chicken removed from the bill. After a back and forth with the manager they removed a charge for the salad… We haven’t returned since. I recommend that everyone stay away. The food isn’t good when its fully cooked anyways.

A cute depot and very nice service. The Brazilian is a very filling sandwich. The accompanying Onion rings appear to be fresh and tasty. The sweet potato fries were also very well done. The waitress was very nice and accommodating.
