A local retailer recommended this restaurant. The food was delicious. The service excellent. I had a burger with goat cheese, mushrooms, and caramelized onions! Yum! My husband got a farmers salad which he enjoyed. The kiddos were happy with their meal and the sweet potato fries were perfect. Highly recommend!

Probably the best food in Littleton — bar menu has the best deals by far. When I venture off the bar specials I typically feel disappointed by the small serving of Vermont Ravioli Co. pasta. Much nicer space since they moved out of the basement of the Thayer Inn and across the street. I think I slightly prefer the St. Johnsbury location, with better ambience and energy.

Went for dinner with family and was very disappointed with the experience. The two ravioli specials came from the kitchen and had cold spots and the two steaks that were ordered were over-cooked. Waitress not only struggled to smile but also consistently reached across people rather than walking around the table. For the money, there are much better places in Littleton. I encourage you to find them.

Very pleasant atmosphere. However, my steak was severely overdone. I had made it very clear how important it was for me to have a very rare steak; they served it medium/medium well done. When I pointed this out, the waitress was unimpressed and unconcerned.

Although the food is generally OK, I made the mistake of ordering a salad topped with a crab cake. I love crab cakes. There are two ways of making me crabby. Serve me a good crab cake with lots of crab — Good, or serve me a good crab cake the size of something that ought to be on a checkerboard — Bad. I got very crabby in the bad way. I ordered it as a topping for a salad. At $ 6.00 for that minuscule crab cake, it was disappointing beyond belief. I should have sent it back to the kitchen and asked for the $ 6.00 to be removed from the bill.

Well where should I start? Waiter was sweet but not a good waiter. Chairs looked and felt like someone took the stuffing out of them. so dark everyone in the place was using their phone to read the menu. Took over an hour to get our food. And the food was fairly tasteless… way too much money for what we received. I have had better meals south of franconia Notch for ½ the $. Such a disappointment. I have heard bad stuff before but decided to give them a second chance. Shouldn’t have. Don’t waste your time and money. Try another establishment in town or head out of town.

We ate here twice while in Littleton. Both times my meal was very good. The first time we ate in the bar area because we came up the front, and I didn’t know about the dining room behind it. The second time we ate in the dining room. Both were nice. If there had been better weather, I believe there is a nice patio as well. They have a great wine and cocktail selection, and the food was very good. Among the two trips I got various appetizers with my groups and meals. I really really enjoyed the mussels and fries. I got them the bacon jam and white wine style. The scallops were also very good and the second time I got one of the seafood pasta specials. The meals come with a salad and they let me upgrade mine to a ½ size mushroom and goat cheese salad. This was a great restaurant, and I’ll go again if in the area.

We visited Bailiwicks while on our way to see the Franconia Notch State Park. The main draw was their martini menu, which is huge and filled with delicious options. Our innkeeper said that the seafood here is spectacular. I had the scallops and was very happy with them. My wife had the strip steak. Our appetizer was the«Whistle Stop» fried green tomatoes. We had key lime pie and lemon berry marscapone cake for dessert. Everything was perfect; we couldn’t ask for more, except to come back again.

Staff doesn’t have much of a personality. The table was tight and the food was well below average. It’s a shame that this place replaced what was a great restaurant that I looked forward to visiting when I was in town.

I ate at the bar and felt very welcomed. I specifically came into try the fried goat cheese. I feel like it was something I would see on the show Best Thing I Ever Ate. Everything about this appetizer was amazing. I can’t wait to come back to have this and try something else. Being up in the north country for several months this was great find.

If you love fried pickles you have to try theirs. Great martini’s. Rancher burger will satisfy.

For a place that has nachos on the main entrée list, they left a lot to be desired. As in cheese. The basics. Understaffed. My Mom never got her water after asking 4 times. Marginal at best — on a good day.

Not the best experience. Maybe would have liked it more if I had gotten something a little more simple like a burger or sandwich or something I could make at home, but besides that, I really value a place that makes sure the customer is satisfied, especially when they order one of the more expensive items on the menu. To say the least, I was not pleased and they did nothing to make sure I left satisfied. I left with an empty wallet and empty stomach. Beautiful restaurant but unfortunately if I pass through again I will be trying something new.

I shoulda listened to Unilocaler, below, Kim C. I had to send my cocktail back 3Xs just to get it to kinda taste like Ciroc? Ciroc is smooth with no questions. This martini wasn’t? The meal opened with some greasy fried tortillas? The waitress said they used to serve bread, but they had to throw too much of it away. The fried tortillas came with a pink hummus? dipping paste? The salad was good. the tomatoish dressing had such a vinegar bite that it’s a good thing she brought the maple dressing as well, but it was meh! The ribeye that followed was covered with mushrooms and onions for $ 6 extra, but not sautéed. The risotto was so starchy and pasty it tasted not cooked enough. This restaurant is in an impovrished area in my opinion and this restaurant is going to have to get in the BUSINESSOF Quality food and cocktails with Quality preparation. If they don’t they may as well stop wasting our time and their time and lock the doors tonight.

I WROTETHISTOTHERESTAURANT To Whom This May Concern, Hello. I’m not from your area. In fact, my partner and I are from Connecticut and NYC. Just a little inside information, my partner wanted a secluded cabin weekend getaway and I found Rustic Cabins on route 117. Since both of us enjoy fine dining and are accustomed to many fine restaurants in NYC, I thought that I would bring her to your restaurant and have a nice experience being that your website boasts fine dining and about how exceptional your restaurant is. I disagree wholeheartedly. Out of 5 star, I would rate your Littleton location only one star. We had a 7pm reservation on Saturday, Feb 28. We were seated accordingly at a nice location next to the window. When I made the reservation, I had asked for a nice, somewhat romantic table away from the kitchen and restroom area since I had no idea of the layout of your restaurant. I had asked the hostess if she could take our drink order. She said she couldn’t, but our waitress would be with us soon. Another young lady came to our table and poured water without introducing herself. I had asked her to take our drink order also. Again, she also said our waitress would be with us soon. A few minutes later our waitress appeared, who also did not introduce herself. I had to ask her myself if she was our waitress and her name, which was Alison. I ordered three appetizers from your menu, since my partner and I enjoy an assortment of delicacies. My choice of appetizers, I had chosen two weeks in advance from viewing your website when I also made reservations with the cabin, were the calamari, the wasabi shrimp, and the goat cheese. ALL of the appetizers were brought to us cold. I didn’t want to complain, but I felt the need to tell our waitress. She did not return to our table until we had eaten practically all of the appetizers to ask us if ‘everything was okay’. I mentioned the temperature, or lack of in this case, and she walked away. She did not take any of the empty plates. A couple minutes later, I assume it was the manager, who also did not introduce herself, came to our table. I told her the flavor of the appetizers were good, but the food was brought to us cold. I had also told her that we were from out of town, that I had found your restaurant online and that we just wanted a nice experience. She asked me if our waitress had asked us if we had wanted to replace them. Being that we had eaten them anyway and would be receiving our entrees soon, I told her that the waitress did not mention that to us and there was no point in replacing them in any case, ince she didn’t come back to our table until we had finished all of them. A better waitress would’ve checked on us sooner. Without asking us, our waitress brought out ANOTHER appetizer of a fried nachos, or something similar, with a red tomato paste for dipping. Before she left our table, I pointed to it and asked«what is this?» Honestly, do you think that bringing out a FOURTH appetizer, which was also cold and upon taking one bite I could also tell that the chips seemed to have been RE-fried due to the greasy texture, would appease us after receiving THREE cold appetizers? I also had to ask Alison what the catch of the day was when we ordered our entrees. She did not know. She had to leave our table to find out. When she returned, I had also asked her what the side dishes were for this entrée. Again, she did not know. My partner had to give me the menu insert that she received in her menu, which I did not receive in mine, for the«specials of the day» that included the side items. The waitress had no clue at all. Also, I need to mention two other ratings of your«fine dining» restaurant. Being that I had mentioned the temperature of the appetizers, my soup came to me extremely hot, as if it was heated up in a microwave, and my partner had the salad, which look like it could’ve came out of a pre-mixed spring garden bag that anyone can buy from the supermarket. Our meal cost $ 114. I left $ 120. The manager never came back to our table to apologize, nor did she offer to comp any of the appetizers that we received below standard of your so-called«fine dining» boasting. No, we will NOT be coming back to your restaurant, even if we do come back to your area. I also told both owners of the cabins where we were staying, about the bad experience we had and the food we received. I can tell you that they will not be sending any new customers your way in the future. They will most likely not be visiting your restaurant either. I am also putting this review on . Thank you very much for the awful food and experience we had and for also taking our hard earned money, for which the meal and experience was not worth $ 120.

Walked in and was immediately impressed with the restaurant’s atmosphere. We were seated by the windows and taken aback by the absolutely beautiful open trusses and large windows — even on a rainy night it seemed magical when accompanied by the perfect temperature of the dining room. We started with a few cocktails and the special Asian Trifecta app and were given plenty of time to go over the menu, where we ultimately decided to get the Korean BBQ Statler and 106 Main Ribeye. The food was phenomenal and the cocktails a great deal and excellent tasting(not to mention the large selection). We ended the evening with Mississippi Mud Pie and some liquid desserts(The Dirty Bedtime Story) to complete an absolutely perfect evening. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a romantic evening, fantastic service and unique libations. Love this place

Can sum up this dining experience in one word: heinous. There were some positive aspects including the pita chips and lighting, however that is where the happy train stops. First of all we were RESEATED. We had sat down and were told five minutes after sitting that a more important party had requested that table and if we would not mind moving… my father, who is 50 years old, stated that he has never been reseated in his entire life. My sister, a graduate from the Cornell hotel school, was also highly offended and stated that reseating is the one thing that a restaurant should never do. After being moved to a corner table we were wedged in as they added another table to the dining room we were in and were so squished that it made the entire dinner miserable(the fake tree they moved to fit the table also hit my sister in the head). The food was average, wine was good and both drink and wine menus were extensive. However, I doubt my best food experience could’ve made up for the unspeakable rudeness of the staff.
