My husband and I also ate here with his parents during our Fall 08 Foliage tour. This was not a planned meal; it just sort of happened after piddling around in a nearby antique shop. It was lunch, and it was time to eat. The whole front of the restaurant was full with people who seemed to be locals on their lunch break. A couple tables were full of «lunching» older women who laughed and cackled and took their leftovers home for dinner. It was a very happy place to be! Lots of repeat customers is usally a very good sign. Our eyes bulged when we saw the large portions being brought out. I asked one of the women near us, «What’s that?» It was a huge sandwich my husband ended up ordering. It’s not upscale fancy food; it is what it is! And for what it is, it’s very good food for a very reasonable price. We were all very happy with our meals as we waddled back to our vehicle to continue our journey.

«How many?» asked the server as we walked in after a few moments of waiting. «eight» we replied.“Don’t the phones work”? Which is actually pretty funny we thought. Food was tasty enough for breakfast and for being a small town place. The service was nice and efficient after we got settled in.
