I was turned off walking in, as the restaurant had an unpleasant, very strong fishy odor, reminiscent of walking into a fish market. The«spectacular view» is commandeered by the enormous concrete pad across the road, still sadly lying empty after Katrina destroyed the original casino. The crab cakes were bready and full of filler; the food was okay but disappointing when we expected a four-star meal. We won’t be going back.

Food was decent but definitely nothing special. Thus, with their prices and mediocre food, we would likely not return since there’s better in town. The ambiance, however, is beautiful; both the restaurant and adjacent bar(Blu) have floor to ceiling windows overlooking the gulf coast and the décor is classy/chic. Although we had reservations, we still had to wait 30 min, but the restaurant paid for our drinks since they had us wait for our table — that was a bonus point for them.

This place was wonderful. Sitting atop of the ninth floor of the casino it had a gorgeous view of the Gulfport waters(perfect to watch a beautiful Gulfport sunset FYI). Beautiful décor. Great booths facing the Windows and view. Very romantic for a date night. The food was amazing! I had the 16oz Ribeye bone-in with melted blue cheese and Bri whipped mash potatoes on the said My beautiful GF had the crab stuffed flounder and asparagus We shared the most amazing strawberry cheesecake and CQ salad that came with these candied walnuts that you could die for. Our server, Britney, was amazing! Suggested just the right wine for our meals. Very polite and knowledgeable. Made the experience even better. I would of given this place 5 stars if not for the hostess that just seemed dead inside and wouldn’t even smile all night long! She was just Very off putting. Also… for a bus boy that told my girlfriend the stuff flounder was a huge dish and to much for one person to eat Haha. why would you say that to my girlfriend who just finished her dish?! Not sure what you really meant by saying that buddy haha. Other than that… Def recommend this place. Ask for a booth!

Not bad at all. This place is perfectly situated right along Beach Bkvd and allows for one of the most tranquil and romantic settings on the Gulf Coast. Food was good and prepared just right. My only withdrawn star is due to pricing. It’s a tad bit over priced, however, the ambience makes up for it totally. I will return. Cheers!

I’m definitely a fan of CQ. The host was a bit off which made me concerned. The servers came out with a pulled pork on a chip to start the evening. The food was amazing. Of course I had the steak – perfect. The wine selection was okay. They did have CA Napa wines in stock. The food service took a bit but was told it was delayed so the kids could eat first. I was fine with that but other folks on the table started to get hungry. The food came, it was great and a good time was had by all. I’ll definitely be back! Come around sunset. The seating arrangement allows for great sunset viewing no matter what table you’re at. It’s a casual place but the décor says business casual. There is a bar area right next door for folks who want to drink while waiting for a table.

Came on a Friday night. We made reservations for 6:30pm but at the time there were plenty of tables available. It is on the 9th floor, with a fabulous view of the parking lot, beach, and water. We were given duck salad in a fried won ton, complements from the chef. It was mayonnaise based, so I didn’t eat much of it, but it was very tasty. We ordered the fried calamari for our appetizer, and the presentation was beautiful! However, it was drenched in aioli, so I couldn’t eat much of it. I would recommend to get the aioli on the side. For dinner, we ordered the ribeye, medium rare. It came out just the way I ordered it, not overly cooked, and not too raw. I got it with a side of baked potato, loaded with cheese, sour cream, and bacon. It was delicious. We also got the stuffed flounder with a side of asparagus. It was huge, looked like two flounders sandwiching lump crab meat. It was a very generous portion. For drinks, we got the house cab, which brought out the flavor of the ribeye. The amaretto sour was standard, but good. Overall, we had a good experience with attentive waiters and good food. The only con was the smell of smoke filtering in from the lounge next door. This will probably be the reason why we won’t be going back. I prefer my fine dining experiences with no smoke.

Wow. This place is fantastic. We were blown away by all of it. First, I must give some background. Several weeks ago we were at Phoenicia Grill in Ocean Springs because of the great reviews. As soon as we walked in there, I was questioning everyone’s opinion. The mediocre food was $ 30 a plate, the service was sub-par, and the atmosphere felt like we were in a poorly lit diner. Fast forward to a few days ago, we walked into CQ, and immediately loved it. The view was great, the service was amazing, the servers didn’t look cracked out, the food was heavenly with great portions, the atmosphere was on point. They even gave me a free dessert since it was my birthday. And the prices were so similar to that of Phoenicia. We got more bang for our buck. So, moral of the story, go to CQ for a lovely experience!

My future husband is stationed in Biloxi right now and while I am up in Seattle we make it an effort to see each other on long weekends. We were searching for a great place to have a romantic evening on our last night together and we luckily found CQ. Our server Jordan was hands down the best! Attentive, warm, and quick on his feet. Needless to say the food was delicious, the pork belly appetizer is to die for. My lam chops and my fiancées NY strip were perfectly cooked. The lava cake dessert was average but what made it perfect was in passing my fiancée joked that it was rich and could use a glass of milk. Not 45 seconds later Jordan comes out with two glasses of milk with straws. He went above and beyond and we were startled by this level of service and it was completely appreciated. Thank you CQ for an amazing evening. We will be back.

We enjoyed this quiet upscale restaurant which is a nice distance from the crowds. We were guests of close friends and I found this restaurant to be very welcoming, beautiful views of the gulf and the food was delicious!!! Definitely a Big Step up from the Infinity Buffet down on the casino level!

Dinner for two adults. Upscale dining with moderate to high end pricing. Alcoholic drinks are expensive. Tonight dinner consisted of grouper over angel hair pasta and trout special. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant.

For the price this should have been better as far as food quality. I ordered a rib eye steak medium rare, the most popular style, but it came out nearly well done. No one should ever easy a rib eye well done. It was returned and the second one came out rare. My friend ordered the lamb chops medium rare and they were over cooked also. For 32 bucks for a steak and 26 for lamb, it was inexcusable. The view however was great and the service was impeccable.

Food wise, it was great. We had the duck and butternut squash ravioli. The duck seemed a little dry, but I recommend it for the sauce alone. I could eat that daily. Husband got filet and garlic mashed potatoes, I got grilled lamb with shallot risotto. Portion sizes were perfect. The fat on the lamb was literally melt-in-your-mouth. I swiped some of his potatoes and they were spot on. I was tickled pink by the Caesar salad I ordered. They asked me if I wanted anchovies. Of course I do, it’s part of the sauce! I didn’t realize they meant fresh anchovies on top. Delicious! It’s a pity about the view though — there isn’t much of one. Yes, you get the beach… but also lots of pavement and parking lot. Go for the food though, it’s worth it. As far as being a return customer? Probably. Price wise, it was on par with a full dinner for two at Longhorn Steakhouse. My husband actually preferred Longhorn MORE. Gah! As far as «bang for your buck,» Longhorn would take that prize, but as uniqueness goes, CQ steals the cake.

My go to restaurant in Biloxi, I only found it by chance. On my drive from Orlando to Austin, I was at a gas station filling up and overheard a group of women talking about CQ. I wasn’t really hungry when I stepped out of the car, but I was salivating by the time I re-entered. I decided to take a slight detour and what a fantastic choice that was. Tucked away in a casino that doesn’t do justice to the restaurant, I was greeted with a smile and seated promptly. I wish I could tell you about how great the entrees were, but I never made it past appetizers. The duck and butternut squash ravioli were hands down the best rendition of butternut squash that I’ve ever experienced. The fried crab claws, oh momma, unreal! I’m not a remoulade fan, and to be honest, it wasn’t necessary. The claws were so damned succulent. Then there were the short ribs. Beer braised and served with an apple balsamic barbecue sauce, they were spoon tender. In all honesty, service was the only thing holding this back from being five star. Nobody likes to feel rushed, especially when traveling. I’m sure it was an aberration, and I’m equally sure that I’ll be back.

On a recent trip to Biloxi with my wife and in-laws, we wanted to find a nice restaurant where we could get a good steak. CQ definitely hit the spot. The service was great. Within a minute of being seated they brought out a free sample of the nightly appetizer special(which was shrimp bruschetta), and it was pretty tasty. Within 5 minutes, we had our drinks, fresh bread, and our appetizer order was in. Between the 4 of us, we split two 14oz. ribeyes. They were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. Suffice it to say, they didn’t last long! The sides were good as well(we split asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes), but the steak was definitely the highlight. All in all, we got out for around $ 120 total($ 30/person), before tip, and that was with a bottle of wine and fried calamari appetizer. All of us felt like we had more than enough food. I would certainly consider CQ again if I’m in the area. The restaurant itself had a very nice, laid back, atmosphere. Unfortunately, with daylight savings time no longer in effect, it was dark by the time we ate, so we did not get to enjoy the view of the Gulf. However, the restaurant is configured so that every table has a view of the Gulf, so that’s certainly a nice plus. We hung around the casino for a little bit after dinner. I wouldn’t put Treasure Bay up there with Beau Rivage, Hard Rock, or any of the other big casinos on the east side of town, but it wasn’t terrible. It smelled a little too strongly of cigarettes(even in the lobby), but it certainly wasn’t the worst place to hang out for an hour, play some blackjack, and enjoy a few cocktails.

As other reviewers have already said, CQ seems to be an ultimate culinary secret. Tucked away inside the Treasure Bay Casino, CQ offered us one of the best meals of our lives. We actually consider it to be one of the three best meals that we’ve ever eaten. After making our way through the basket of fresh, warm bread served with a duo of butters, we started our meal with the Duck & Butternut Squash Ravioli in a champagne butter sauce. The ravioli were unbelievably delicious and so savory. The homemade ravioli were cooked perfectly al dente and both the filling and the sauce offered a delectable combination of flavors. The price is very right at $ 10 and I would honestly recommend ordering a double serving and making it your entrée. For our entrees, we had the King Scallops, served over roasted fennel and lemon herb risotto, and the Cowboy steak with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. The cowboy steak is priced far above most of the other menu items, at $ 55, but seems to be a true instance of your get what you pay for. The steak was exceptionally well-cooked and tender enough to be cut with a butter knife. The scallops were also seared to perfection and were absolutely delectable. The scallops were priced at a more moderate $ 33. Whereas the appetizer and entrée offerings far exceeded our expectations, the dessert menu wasn’t very impressive. We shared the cheesecake but it was nothing spectacular. I would recommend skipping dessert and enjoying an appetizer or two instead. The restaurant is very intimate and offers an unobstructed view of the Gulf. There is actually no dress code, so come as you are, but I believe the atmosphere warrants at least a little effort in your appearance. CQ is on the pricier side, but depending on which menu offerings you select, the cost can be kept more moderate. With the selections mentioned above and a couple of drinks, our bill was somewhere around the $ 130 mark and worth every dollar.

A most enjoyable experience. Sitting on the 9th floor and with a beautiful room to boot, my night got of to a great start the minute I walked in the door. Service was prompt, friendly, and thorough. I was made to feel like a welcome guest. My entrée was divine, a grilled grouper with a side of asparagus that were both magnificently seasoned and brought out at the perfect temperature. I was also very pleased with the bread, which included French and a spice loaf of some sort. The prices are very reasonable, my meal with tip came under $ 30. I hope to return soon!

My boyfriend and I spent a few days in Biloxi while visiting his family for Thanksgiving and his 21st birthday. We definitely had a lot of fun, and ended up at Treasure Bay a few times, since his brother works at CQ/Blue(the bar), which is where we spent our evening for his birthday dinner. The food was epic. No lie. We had a few drinks, which were perfectly prepared. An appetizer of fried crab claws(THEBESTFOOD I’VEEVEREATEN?!) and then all kind of tried each other’s entrees. I had a Caesar salad, my man had the lemonfish and his dad had the stuffed quail. I would recommend this restaurant any day of the week.
