Blowing Rock Inn

We stayed one night. Check in was not too friendly, but guess I was not here to make friends. The room was clean, neat, and tidy. It had a nice smell, and ya’ll know what I am talking about. Didn’t see any creepy crawling things on anything. The only thing dirty was the container that held the ice scoop, and it could have used a bit of scrubbing. They may not be the friendly type, but they certainly run a tight ship for a vintage establishment. We would certainly stay here again, but I doubt we ever will as I am always headed to a place I have not been. My Moto Life is too short for circles!

Very cute hotel super close to downtown! Great hotel for us — 30 somethings with a 2 and a 4 year old. Comfy beds, clean, and cozy! Country/​mountain feel without seeming old. Bathroom has been updated, new TV. Perfect place to rest our heads after spending the day out and about. We loved being able to walk to breakfast and dinner all weekend!

A totally lovely place! Very charming, clean, comfortable, small but with the amenities we needed (comfy beds, coffee pot, tv). The staff was polite and helpful. First, though, expedia lists this place as 5 miles from Banner Elk, which is where I needed to be. It’s not! It’s 25 miles, which is an hour on those mountain roads. YUCK! Not a great way to spend several hours a day, even as pretty as the scenery is. There was also an issue with the hot water, but the staff fixed it right away and within 5 mins we had hot water. There was an ice machine, which is generally the only thing I look for in a hotel. The place is near the heart of Blowing Rock and had I wanted to be in Blowing Rock, I would have loved this place even more. There are plenty of restaurants and other places to visit very close.

We were motorcycle riding through the Blue Ridge with 15 people total, we needed 12 rooms and the Blowing Rock Inn accomodated us beautifully!!! This is a lovely place to stay, walking distance to everything in town. The rooms are fabulous, cute and very clean.
We will stay here again!!!
