Very loud restaurant. Food was good but not great. I definitely would go back though, I loved their sides. They didn’t skimp on the drinks and the service was outstanding! I will be recommending this place to my friends!

We went with a party of seven for father’s day. We were given a private room which made our evening highly enjoyable, the service, the food were exceptional and all of my party raved about the evening.

This is our date night spot. We go here almost every Friday we’re in town. Usually sit at the bar and have dinner there. The three bartenders are AWESOME! They take care of us so well I enjoy eating at the bar more than getting a table. Steak is the best I’ve ever had and I have been to some very well known steak houses in the country. It’s a little pricy but well worth every penny!

We just attended a private event, a Sunday lunch, and the service and food was excellent. I had a filet that was done perfectly, a glass of cabernet and key lime pie. Again, excellent.

Whenever we are in the Delray area, we always look to try new restaurants. Abe and Louie’s will definitely be a «repeat» visit. The restaurant is elegant, yet warm with dark wood throughout. Our server, Noela, was professional, knowledgeable and extremely personable. The most important part, obviously, when dining, is the food. Presentation at Abe and Louie’s is Perfection from the lemon drop martini I ordered to my lobster dish. Not only were the dishes beautifully prepared, they were so very tasty. My husband’s steak was prepared exactly as requested. We didn’t have much room for dessert, so decided to share the butterscotch bread pudding. The portion was more than enough for both of us and our taste buds were not disappointed. DELICIOUS!!! Kudos to the chef! Some may find the menu a bit«pricey» but the quality was definitely apparent.

Went last night — profile says quiet area, they seated us near screaming kids. That was one move, then the blond had an attitude and moved us up front. For an upscale Resturant I had a view of the front parking lot. We asked to be more involved with the Resturant but we still were seated along the front perimeter of the establishment. We had the ribeye steak last time but chose a flavorless overpriced 16oz shrunk to a fistful of filet mignon for $ 60.00. Don’t settle for a seat when at 6.00pm there were plenty of seats that sat empty. I have adjusted my opinion on this Resturant. See revised review — lesson learned speak up. Revisited last night and it was perfect. What a great meal and enjoyed every minute of our experience.

Hubby took me here Sunday on a hott date to celebrate our 5 year anniversary! Woohoo! This place is both fancy and old school. But, unlike some of its counterparts around the S Fl area it talks the talk and walks the walk. SOOOOO good. I had their soup of the day which was tomato bisque and I loved loved loved it, my gorgeous date had the chowdah and it was really really good too. If I had to choose one I liked better I wouldn’t be able to. We also got the bacon appetizer, it was the best bacon of my life, so thick & juicy, and it came with mustard, blue cheese, and some kind of mildly spicy peppers as toppings. The mustard was the bomb. OMG, the whole dish was fantastic. I got the ribeye for my entrée w hollandaise added and Hubby got the prime rib. We both agree it was the best prime rib we’ve had, ever. Then there is a minor dispute as to whether the ribeye was better here or at Quality Meats but that probably means they are on par, in other words, drool, it was perfection and I love love loved it. We ordered the lobster mac n cheese as a side and it was sooooooo good. I think if you don’t love this place there’s something wrong with you(or you are a vegetarian). It reminded me of Delmonico’s in NYC except the food is ten thousand times better. I would love to come back and try the seafood but lets get real, we’d both keep ordering the steak bc it was too good! My only regret is that we ate so much that we were unable to try any of the dessert, story of my life.

This place is so fantastic and so old school in all the right ways. It might be my favorite restaurant in south Florida. Bacon appetizer is a can’t miss. Superb. The prime rib was the best I can ever remember eating. Lobster mac is as good as anywhere’s. Clam chowder was top 10 ever for me. Service was A+. Prices were a little high, but who cares because this place is fantastic. Come here, leave full, satisfied, a little fatter, and with at least 10 points added onto your cholesterol score.

It has been many years since I’ve been to Abe & Louie’s. I remember having good food and service on my prior visits here. Liliane was in the mood for brunch this weekend and I remember hearing that they serve up a good brunch here. We looked through the menu and it seemed good, so I made a late afternoon reservation for us. Upon walking in I felt like I was in the Capital Grille. The décor, uniforms and overall layout looked just like it to me. We were greeted promptly by the gal at the host stand. She got us checked in quickly and escorted us to a good table, which is always a plus. We were seated for over five minutes before anyone approached our table. Our server came by, filled our water glasses and asked us for our drink order. Liliane ordered a white sangria and I ordered a cappuccino. We received our drink orders quickly along with a bread basket. I found the bread basket to be quite underwhelming. There were three slices of bread which was fine. My issue was that the bread was cold and didn’t taste fresh at all. I’m bringing this up because, in my opinion it is all about the small details and execution in a restaurant of this type. The wifey ordered the trio eggs benedict, which consists of a lobster, crab cake and filet mignon benedict. I went ahead and ordered the filet mignon benedict as there is nothing better than steak and eggs for breakfast. I’m a growing boy and need the extra protein too lol. We also got a side of mac n cheese to split. Our entrees came out quicker than I would’ve thought. They do it old school here, meaning that the servers use push carts to bring your entrees as opposed to hand carrying them, or using a tray. The presentation on both dishes as well as on the mac n cheese was good. Lili really enjoyed her eggs benedict trio. She was raving about it the entire day. Unfortunately I didn’t feel the same about mine. I asked for the steak to be cooked with a warm red center(medium rare). It ended up coming out more on the well done side. The meat also was hardly charred :(. Again a restaurant of this caliber should be paying attention to the smallest details in my opinion. That is what elevates the experience as well as the restaurant itself. The English muffin was good and the eggs were poached perfectly. I also really liked the home fries that they serve with it, as did Liliane. The mac n cheese was the best part of the meal to me. It was so friggin cheesy and ooey gooey. The parmesan crust was awesome and crunchy. I would definitely order it again. We forewent dessert on this visit, so I can’t speak to how they are. The service started off slow and robotic but, got better as it progressed. Even though I felt underwhelmed and meh on this visit, I would return again to give them another opportunity. With that being said, I’m in no rush to do so as I feel my time would be better spent on restaurants that have made it onto our rotation list.

My wife and I went there last Tuesday night. We made a reservation but I don’t think you have to during the week. Service was outstanding! Food was amazing! We didn’t have drinks but I’m sure they do that well too. We were stuffed by the time dinner was over so we asked our waiter what would last an hour ride home. He went through the desert menu and gave us a breakdown and three options that he felt was workable.

It’s funny when you read reviews and see how people react. Abe and Louis is a special place. It’s very expensive but you also get a service not many people understand. I’ve been here 4 – 5 times. Each time, it’s absolutely amazing. Saw a review with a lady complaining about the noise. It’s NOT noisy. If you want quiet, go to a library. This is a 5 star steak house with superb service. You want sides with your steak, order them. The sautéed onions are to die for. Any review under 4 stars is a joke. This place is perfection!

Cocktails here are fantastic — so is the wine! My boyfriend and I usually start out with a dirty martini with blue cheese olives and then switch over to wine and share a bottle of Sauvingon Blanc — We aren’t big on Kim Crawford so we usually get a New Zealand one. The ambiance is really nice and romantic here. I love the food and stuffing my face here. The shell fish towers are incredible and can make for a full meal. Love all the appetizers and love the salads. I think our favorite dish is the Lobster Savannah — It’s AMAZING. I definitely recommend getting that. Forget the steak at this restaurant — it’s honestly all about the seafood.

Came here yesterday for a birthday and was not disappointed. The food was amazing. Ordered the steak tartare and it was delicious. Delmonico steak was great! The oysters were good, but on the small side(one was tiny) so I would order another app instead of those. Lobster Savannah was to die for!!! Don’t even get me started on the bacon. Service was great. Had Gustavo as the waiter. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped with all our questions since it was our first time here. Drinks were good. MUSTTRYTHEBREADPUDDING! Drove about 53 minutes to get there and it was worth every minute. Will be returning very soon. Actually this Monday for another birthday. Do not hesitate this place is a gem.

This is always our go to special occasion place. Came here tonight with friends and had an amazing time as always! Everything here is fabulous but I would specifically recommend the lobster Mac and cheese and the chocolate cake for dessert. Service is top notch and atmosphere is very upscale. I have absolutely nothing negative to say and can’t wait to return. They even were able to take us earlier than our reservation. They really know how to do steak right in a classy but never stuffy atmosphere.

This is a wonderful steakhouse in Boca Raton. It has a beautiful interior with white linen tablecloths. The steaks are amazing and the filet is cooked to perfection and cuts like butter. We had a nice salad and we had asparagus and potato casserole which was served family style. If you’re still hungry the chocolate cake is to die for, the only problem I had was the waitress was a little slow and forgetful had to call her back a couple times. It’s a nice place to try but I think it’s a little pricey.

We drove for an hr to come here based on a friend’s recommendation. We were actually excited, as this establishment has very good reviews. We were pretty disappointed. The service was slow and inattentive. We pour our own water and empty dishes were not taken away in a timely manner. At a four-dollar-sign restaurant, I expected more. We ordered the clam chowder, which was OK. The lobster bisque was OK, but too creamy, not enough lobster taste, and lobster itself was lacking. The clam with bacon was good because of bacon. But even then, it was burnt so it was bitter. We ordered the rib eye and lobster casserole. While the casserole was good, the steak was the biggest disappointment of the night. The plate was simply a piece of steak on a white dish! No garment or sauce or nothing at all! And the steak itself was terrible. It was so tough, I thought my knife was dull! It was not the quality a $ 53 rib eye steak should be; it was sooooo far from it! We actually sent it back after 3 bites. We replaced the steak with the scallop/shrimp risotto. It was decent. We will not be coming back here. We had high expectations dude to a friend’s recommendation and reviews on here. However far from living up to those expectations. Not worth the money.

The food is delicious. All portions are large enough to share and are graciously split either in the kitchen or tableside with no additional fee. The bread is delicious. don’t miss the black bread with raisins either thin crisped or a thick slice. The wait staff is gracious and knowledgeable. The salads are excellent. The meats are delicious. We had a large thick 18 oz slice of boneless prime rib, cooked to perfection and well-seasoned. We shared spinach with mushrooms and potatoes au gratin. I’ve had better, but they were a good accompaniment to the meat and one serving serves four easily. We shared a moist very large slice of six layer chocolate cake — this dessert can err of the dry side in many other places, but this was perfect with a side scoop of rich vanilla ice cream. BUT…THENOISE. I think the decibels would match a plane taking off. We couldn’t talk. We couldn’t hear anything but loud talking, dishware and silverware clinking and it just escalated to the point of pain. There are too many hard surfaces such as wood panel separators and diaphanous window covers with no sound buffering ability. We would have relaxed with coffee and continued to enjoy the evening but it literally was not possible. Why do most restaurants think that putting their customers in such an environment makes them think they are at a fun happening place? Ridiculous! Wish we could go back for the food, but won’t because of the noise.

Oh how we love Abe & Louie’s. We been coming here for about 8 years and love it every single time. No one can ever beat their seafood tower… Omg it’s amazing! My husband and I usually arrive to Abe’s around 8:30 just for the seafood tower although we had most of the menu we always have to order the seafood tower. It’s suppose to be for 6 people but we order it just for the 2 of us. This time around we order their bread pudding and I couldn’t stop eating it, it was so addictive and good. The service at Abe’s is always top notch. We’ve never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is a bit load but nothing to really complain about. I always enjoy my time spend at Abe’s, arrive hungry and leave full and happy. Great times, great food, great service.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. Everything about the the restaurant was fantastic, from the ambiance to the taste. Lou was very accomodating and was able to offer a table although we arrived late for our reservation. It was our Anniversary and he was quite empathic to the occasion. Our waiter Charlie was awesome as well as Daniela. The checked up on us regularly throughout the meal and offered great suggestions. We introduced ourselves when they greeted us and they were able to remember our names throughout our meal. The food was superb and cooked to perfection. My ordered the Tuna Tartar, and 8oz Filet with Lobster Mac & Cheese and sautéed Spinach with Garlic and mushrooms. My wife and I will definitely return to Abe & Louie’s in the future.

Excellent food, service and ambiance. I have been here several times now for business lunches and this is the perfect place to impress clients. The service is attentive, but not overbearing or distracting. It is little things that I appreciate about the service Eg. The food is, generally, served to everyone at the same time, so you avoid that awkward moment when you either give or wait to receive permission to start before your food gets cold. I have only had terrific meals here so you can feel confident that anything you or your client orders will be terrific. Also, there are enough choices on the menu of steak, poultry, fish(and even some vegetarian) that it has now become my go to for lunch meeting location. Also, seats are comfy and located enough away from the other tables that you can have a conversation without having to yell at the person next to you. Overall would highly recommend.
