Service was good. Food was so so, the calamari was over cooked and over battered. Caesar salad was good. The prime rib was great, the strip was bland and over cooked. The potatoes tasted like they came out of a box… Probably would never eat here again

Had lunch today and was quite disappointed. I ordered sweet potato fries thinking that I would get just that — sweet potato fries. Instead, the fries were coated with cinammon and brown sugar! Yuck! I returned them and asked for plain sweet potato fries. The next batch still had sugar on them. I also ordered the grill chicken sandwich which was supposed to come on a baguette. Well, the bread didn’t look like a baguette but a hoagie type bread. It certainly did not taste fresh. It was like toasted old bread. Oh well …

rest of my family may disagree; but i get biased by mediocre service i know it was holiday week, but still food took way too long; later i heard waiter telling newcomers that food was coming out slow, but thats no excuse. waiter was very good, but his assistants were non responsive(ie: had to ask for bread 3 times) most of family really liked their food, mine was just ok(but again may be biased by service)

Kitchen was backed up. Took over an hour to be served main course. Manager never came out to apologize and left it to the waiter to explain. No compensation offered. Had the seared tuna and got food poisoning. It will be a long time before I go back. Totally mismanaged!

Food and prices were great for lunch time. We got the grilled octopus and it was fantastic. We r very happy w «normal» size portions so if ur looking for the gluttonous portions try Cheesecake Factory. Our server Noah was fantastic and very attentive.

Very, VERY mediocre for a restaurant in Boca Raton! Quite a disappointment after being so excited to try this place! The kale salad is good, but everything else, not so good(food-wise). The drinks are good… But duh– it’s not so hard to mess up a glass of wine out of a bottle! Service, however was decent(though not great). Once I sent back an appetizer that came out wrong, the chef and the server were so rude and treated us as if we were an inconvenience, though they were the ones who messed up the order! I would NEVER in a million years come back! Don’t waste your time on this place when there are so many great restaurants in Boca Raton!

Went for HH on a Friday night. Arrived a little after 5 and it was very quiet. Figured would soon be packed but it never happened by the time we left at 6:45.Bartenders and servers were very professional and efficient. Managers kept keen eyes on the entire operation. The drinks were good as were the apps. Older well healed crowd.

When I first went to Madison’s a few month ago I thought I was going to an expensive restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to find a special summer menu with a nice selection of food at reasonable prices. The summer menu is valid Sunday through Wednesday. You could also order off of their regular menu. I ordered the boneless barbecue chicken breast which came with my choice of a side dish, and pineapple coleslaw. For my side I had mashed potatoes. The bbq chicken was a large patty. It was tender and perfectly cooked. I asked for extra barbecue sauce. I could have eaten the sauce alone, it was that good. The mashed potatoes were very good, they tasted homemade. I also liked the pineapple coleslaw. Very good rolls and butter came with the meal. My meal cost $ 13. Since that time I’ve tried the Salisbury steak with sautéed onions and garlic mashed potatoes. The serving was large and it tasted great, $ 12. Rigatoni bolognese was tube shaped pasta with a nice meat sauce. It was very tasty but the serving could have been larger, $ 14. I tried Clyde’s grilled trout which came with rice pilaf. It was delicious, $ 20. The full menu, which is more expensive, has a large selection including salads, grilled items, seafood, pastas, burgers, and much more. There’s a nice lunch menu with a delicious sounding veggie burger that comes with sweet potato fries for $ 12. I must try that. Every day from 4 to 7 pm there’s Happy Hour at the bar. Drafts and domestic beers are $ 3. Wine and cocktails start at $ 5. There’s also a large selection of discounted food for Happy Hour. The restaurant is very attractive. The service is good.

I am so pleased to report that Madisons continues it’s excellence. We come here every time I’m in Boca Raton. The food is perfection! I ordered the Lamb chops(again) medium(wonderfully pink), seasoned Greek style, with lemon and herbs, Greek oven cooked, lemon potatoes, and green beans with Feta. The Lamb chops were tender and seasoned deliciously, the potatoes are like my Greek moms(she an excellent cook) and the green beans are dark green, have snap, are not chewy and also seasoned well, with feta to give it that salty tang. DELICIOUS. My mom always orders the Artichoke appetizer. She is addicted to the dipping sauce /aioli. The artichokes are plentiful, cooked just right with lots of butter and seasoned perfectly. We added a salad and enjoyed the Caesar. Good stuff. I’ll try the Salad that has Quinoa next time. They have Tito’s Vodka and made my Mule with added Pineapple(my twist) just strong enough :) The hostess, Kayla(?), was a dawl; our waiter, George, is a pro — he knew exactly when to come by and check in on us(how refreshing); the manager, Charlie, sets a lovely tone in the restaurant. The atmosphere has a special New York steak house feel. I love the colors, the booths, it’s comfortable and just upscale enough. I continue to recommend Madisons for dinner and drinks!

Another great meal at Madisons. The summer special is truly a great deal for under $ 20 you have quite a few choices of delicious entrées. The kale salad with chicken is excellent as is the Chopped steak with mashed potatoes! If you want to go when it’s quiet I recommend you go before 6:30 otherwise it gets quite noisy. The service is always excellent. If you are a party of two you can call for a reservation.

Madison’s is a beautiful high-priced restaurant. Too high-priced for what you get. The food is excellent. I couldn’t find any flaws in my meal-the trout with rice. It was $ 20.00 as a special along with several other entrees in the same price range. Rib-eye steaks were $ 35.00.They have many other choices similarly priced. Service was exceptional with very few problems. I enjoyed my dinner very much. The restaurant was kept very clean. We had attention from the entire staff if we needed anything. I would go back to try some of the other specials. The trout was delicious. It’s a great choice.

We went with some good friends to try this place, the night before Valentine’s, waited like 15 to 20 min for a table not bad considering it was busy . We ordered different dishes all of us, the portions are very generous. The chef really takes care of the presentation and temperature of the food. Very tasty, glad we choose this restaurant. The waitress was not really on top of things, but the chef and his dishes make the difference to us.

I met some friends here for happy hour one Friday after work and we sat up at the bar. They do have some good deals on appies and drinks during this time, they even have $ 5 glasses of wine. The service was just OK at the beginning, b/c there wasn’t alot of people there, but by 6 pm every seat at the bar was taken and the service nosedived. Our drinks were taken away without even asking if we wanted another drink, we had to flag down someone to order another drink. My friend asked for her dirty martini on the rocks, it came up with no dirty at all… so not only is it hard to get a drink, it’s hard to get your drink right. It’s also a much older crowd, the vast majority of the patrons(at least up at the bar) were age 65+ so it’s definitely a happening spot for snowbirds & retirees. For food we ordered the sliders(very good), the coconut shrimp(very small), and the pork eggrolls(maybe they were dumplings-they weren’t good at all and barely had any meat in them). So would I go back – probably not, the service at the bar and the patrons just wasn’t a fit for me.

The summer $ 10 special is an excellent opportunity, and that is all I can really speak to at Madisons. I came here with my family on a Sunday evening; the place wasn’t crowded at all, although later on it did fill in significantly. The location was really nice, outside and inside. A very classy joint, with a modern look, with tons of alcohol lining the whole restaurant. The booth we were seated in was very comfortable and the view of their open kitchen was pleasant. Okay, now over the summer(or maybe longer, I’m not 100% clear) Madisons has this deal of 10 items for $ 10. Now most of the items are pretty basic meals, salads, and sandwiches, but for $ 10 you can’t go wrong. The Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad was okay. Not much caesar dressing was used, the lettuce was a bit too bland, and the chicken seemed a bit pre-packaged(not fresh). Still if you are really into salads, this isn’t the worst option for $ 10. I got for my meal the Salisbury Steak with grilled onions on top and a side of mashed potatoes. For $ 10, I would say it was worth it, as the steak was cooked well and had nice flavoring. The mashed potatoes tasted very rustic, in a good way, and very fresh like they actually mashed a real potato up. I’d have no problem whatsoever of coming back if Madisons has this same deal or a similar deal for this pricing. Other than the $ 10 special I had, the pricing for everything else is too rich for my blood. I don’t think I would even considering spending that amount of money for the items on their menu. I’d even be willing to grade this place up if I knew this deal was constant, but I feel that it is just a seasonal thing. As long as Madisons has the $ 10 deal, I will come back. The second the deal ends I’m out. Food(B), Pricing(D-), Atmosphere(B+), Service(B)

Kick a J. Alexander’s up a half notch and you have a Houston’s. Kick a Houston’s up a half notch and you have a Madisons. Matter of fact if you brought me into Madisons blindfolded, I might not know whether I’m in a Houston’s or a Madisons. But, if I were to have to give the nod between Houston’s and Madison as to which is the better, I’d have to go with Madisons as having the edge, though slight. Madisons has both a lunch and dinner menu, and though complete enough, not extensive. Everything I’ve had a Madisons is good, particularly their tuna steaks and baby back ribs. What I particularly like, however, is the fact Madisons usually does offer a selection of specials, that their bar is large, the drinks well made, and the booth seating arrangement spacious and comfortable. I can also easily go a Four Stars for their service, as the staff is competent, helpful and fully acquainted with all of their menu as well as special food offering. They also put a nice little extra touch to everything, like a tasty green onion/mango &etc. like chopped salsa like to their tuna along with a side of cream like dipping, a cream with green onion garnish to their thin layered together potato special, and even down to such side line things such as having the men’s urinals filled, brimming to the top, with ice.
