Worst place ever! I disregarded some of the negative reviews on here to take my kids some place close to the beach after a long day of playing and I regret this decision. I got a server who was also apparently their delivery driver and he left right after we placed our orders. There was no one else to help us while he was away. After waiting a solid 30 minutes, my three year old was served his Mac and cheese after everyone else had food. It was easy mac right out of the microwave for $ 5 which was a total rip off. I had a $ 14 steak taco platter that had no frills at all meaning no guacamole no sour cream, just plane Jane with barely any steak. My friend had a quesadilla which for some reason lettuce is one of their ingredients. Not hard to figure out if you’re grilling a quesadilla not to put lettuce on it! They apologized for the poor service but it seemed as though they barely cared. $ 50 later for sub par food and I’ll never be back again.

I ate the chicken wrap with mango salsa and guacamole. It was amazing! It came highly recommended by Zack(greatest server ever) and it was nothing less than amazing! The Owner is extremely personable and the place looks amazing! Not the same Cantina it used to be!!!

I decide to stopped here for a beer. ZAH was able to recommend me two amazing domestic beer. Michelob Ultra and Yuengling. AMAZING recommendations but such a charismatic waiter I would never thought I was going to encounter. The music very pleasant with nice outdoor seats for a quick casual drink in the area. If anyone readying this review I highly recommend. Oh they have happy hour as well.

We love supporting local businesses, especially when the owner is friendly and welcoming. However the food was a big disappointment. As other reviewers have mentioned– for a place that markets itself as being fresh and organic, being served what were clearly bagged Tostitos chips and Pace jarred salsa was quite a shock. The tortilla for my taco tasted like it came from a bag and the veggie tacos consisted of mostly lettuce, some shredded cheese, a few raw onions and a few unseasoned plain black beans. The best thing about it was the fresh avocado on top. They were tasteless and something I could have made at home with stuff from my pantry. The beer collection was good and they do have liquor so the only reason I see us returning when we’re having a day at the beach is for drinks– will definitely not be eating the food again. If you want real, fresh, seasoned and good food head a few doors down to Boca Beach House.

My colleagues and I escaped the office to enjoy a Friday afternoon. Old school Motown music greets you at the door. The location is near Red Reef beach. The staff was beyond gracious. I had two grilled chicken tacos. They weren’t highly seasoned, however, they tasted clean. The guacamole was pretty good. They were very generous with portions and the presentation was good. The frozen drinks were incredible. Again, very fresh tasting. Our waiter was funny and genuine. It began to rain heavily. We settled up our bill. The streets were beginning to flood. Our server offered to grab the car, parked under monsoon rains, and pull it to the carport just to keep the ladies in the crew from getting soaked. We didn’t take him up on it, but he did give us plastic bags for our hair, and followed us out to make sure we were ok. Chivalry isn’t dead. It just relocated to Boca Raton. I look forward to dining here again during the week with my work friends, but would make the schlep on a weekend with my family too.

Came here for froZen cocktails close to the beach. Drinks were good, generous amount of alcohol. However, they ran out of dark rum, also ran out of mango mix. Can’t complain since the drinks were only 7 $! Anywhere else would be 10,12 $. The best part of this place is THEYDELIVERTOTHEBEACHFORFREE!!! Also happy hour is EVERYDAY!

good food, but portions are whack. I came in and ordered chips and guac. the guac they give for the amount of chips is insufficient. the guacamole isn’t even guacamole! — it’s cut up avocado with tomato. although the entrée I ordered was generously portioned. This restaurant has a great casual vine.

This place is so terrible! Everything was so bland and unoriginal. There was nothing special about this place. The chips and salsa tasted like it was Tostitos. Everything was gross and a total waste of money. I couldn’t even finish the food. Instead I threw it away.

Unimpressed with the food. Loco burrito was very basic, the steak in the burrito had zero taste. $ 5 for chips and salsa and it was nasty salsa(tasted like pace picante) and bad chips(santitas I think). $ 20 out the door and I felt like I completely got ripped off. Owners need to step it up a few notches.

The food here is horrible! I ordered the veggie tacos which came with lettuce from a bag, a few black beans, shredded cheese, and guacamole. There were absolutely no veggies, which was guess was my fault in assuming there would be some roasted bell peppers or something(I don’t consider lettuce a veggie, I consider it a filler). The chips looked like Tostitos from a bag, the salsa was Pace Picante Sauce, and the«queso»(and I use that term loosely) was fake cheese that you would get on nachos at a little league game. They seem to pride themselves on «organic» meat, but if their meat is really organic, why is the rest of their food crap from a bag/can? The only reason this place is even getting 1 star is because the service was okay. I bought a Groupon which is the only reason my husband and I came here and we will never be going back.

My husband and I went for a late lunch. The menu speaks organic, everything was from a jar or can. It was terrible! We will not be coming back!

I had a Groupon so that’s how I learned about this place. The owner and the waitress was nice so that’s where the 1 star comes in. THEFOODWASHORRENDOUS! The guacamole was far from guacamole. It taste like avocados and tomatoes that have been sitting in the FL sun and has spoiled. Sour guac, no cilantro. The vegetable quesadilla was tomatoes, onions, black beans, and fake cheese. I also had a margarita which was basically virgin. I asked the waitress what kind of tequila for the margarita and she said«house», okay, what does that mean? Who do you use? She didn’t reply. I had to send the first margarita back because the glass was broken. Maybe the owner didn’t put tequila in it because he had to pour the first one out. The tortilla chips that came with the guacamole tasted like a generic chip from a bag. The owner said he didn’t make them because he doesn’t have the resources. I suggested he bake them, which would save him a lot of money. Anyway, I will not go back. The food is beyond below halfway decent. Try for yourself. But again, they were nice.

My husband and I are in town from Chicago and we were looking for a quick place for lunch. We walked by and the owner was standing out in front and commented about how he uses organic meat and organic chicken which sounded good so we walked in. I am a sucker for nachos so we ordered the nachos appetizer which was a mistake. You would think in a place like this they would use real cheese but instead it was like a cheese whiz or some type of fake cheese that you pump on top. We ordered the flank steak taco, the chicken taco, and the vegetable taco. There was barely any meat on the tacos at all. The flavor was bland. We also ordered the guacamole. How can you mess that up? It was diced avocado with diced tomatoes with a little bit of sauce. My 2 year old daughter who loves avocado spit it out. I know he’s only been open for four months and he’s a very nice man but the food has room for improvement. Sadly we would not return.

Stopped in here on a whim with my husband. The atmosphere felt like a beach cantina and food was fresh as could be and the salsa has nice kick to it!

I had noticed the new name on the door the week before when I was walking towards the beach so when I found myself home the other night without dinner plans and looking for something quick, casual and inexpensive, Boca Beach Cantina popped into my head. I’m sure glad it did. I had the opportunity to meet brothers/owners of the Cantina, Richard and Michael who were just as nice as could be and very welcoming. Michael started me off with their freshly made guacamole. It looked more like an avocado tomato salad to me than a traditional guacamole, but I didn’t mind it one bit. As long as the ingredients are fresh(which they absolutely were) and seasoned properly(yes again), then I’m a happy camper. Next, I tried the chicken mango salsa wrap. The chicken is organic and fresh, never frozen(how could it be? They don’t have a freezer in the place). It came with a tasty mango salsa and their fresh guac wrapped up in a warm tortilla. The salads are also very tasty. I tried a little sampling of the grilled Chicken Cesar and the«Almost Wedge» Salad. Other menu selections include fajitas, tacos, quesadillas, salads and wraps. I would highly recommend this place to anyone not only going to or from the beach but to anyone looking for something new and fresh that won’t break the bank, well… that is unless you decide to choose their Chips & Bubbles package, chips, salsa, guac and a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne for $ 295. Sounds like a nice beach picnic.

I guess it’s a busy crowd if there are three groups of three people. Owner was being an ass to the waiter in front of the customers and mixed up my order not once, not twice, but THREETIMES! Very disappointed

My first time there was tonight. The owners are great the atmosphere is fantastic. I had the beach seasoned chicken taco. Yum! I also tried my first local Florida beer tonight, which was great. I will be back again, and again, and again…
