Great place! Very Romantic atmosphere, excellent service and fondue, the only thing missing was snow outside to make it complete! We will definitely be back!!!

The best customer service in South Florida! Richard playing the piano was a joy to sit near, chit-chat and laugh with! The staff; Scott, Lucus and team were amazing in addition to Frank the Manager, all were superb! Will be back with friends and family many times to enjoy this whimsical atmosphere. Thanks for a fun fondue treat!

The place is beautiful, amazing decoration very cozy with lots of details. I didn’t like the fact to be the only one placed on the opposite side where the piano guy was playing. Talking about the piano guy, just amazing, great music, and he asked me if I wanted any song to be played. We had the cheese fondue, very tasty, they really know how to make it. The downturns was the fire wasn’t lighted up, and we only discovered that after eating since the cheese was not hot. And the bread didn’t taste fresh like they announce. Don’t ask the sausage and potato side dish for this cheese fondue, the sausage is way to greasy, maybe vegetables option is better. For desert we had Crème brûlée, tastes awesome. The only thing is they should fire it up in front of you, I guarantee the waiter would make more tips out of it. It’s a cute place(even with the cheap plastic plants and little Christmas village ornaments). The food is overpriced and not particularly good. The cheese fondue is nice, but skip the meat fondue– it’s tasteless and the sauces are weird. It’s one of those places you’ll go to out of curiosity and then never again.

Food: 4.7 Server: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Piano addition: 5 Valet: 5 Professionalism: 5 Scale out of 5 Ok, we tried this place tonight BC I wanted fondue and my husband and I had some poor experiences at Melting Pot of late. We started with the traditional Swiss Gruyère fondue with an addition of veggies. A flashback of real fondue my mother made. She was great with cheese! Then we moved on to filet, shrimp, and chicken in a red wine consume. The filet was perfect. The chicken and shrimp just ok and the reason for the 4.7 above. Then, even though we were full, we had the dark chocolate fondue. It was so good! But I wished for a small plate of sides. I’d rather fewer sides and have to ability to ask for more rather than waste so much. My husband had a cappuccino and I had a glass of recommended wine. Terrific suggestion from Travis our server! A smooth Pinot. Thank you for a nice night at the Little Chalet! It was quaint and romantic with a piano player who played a request! Happy wet weekend!

Expensive but well worth it! The fondue experience is unique and entertaining. The fact that you play a role with your meal makes it special. Staff was friendly from manager to waiter«Virginia». She was really nice and attentive. The cheese fondue«crème was delicious» As our main dish we had the royal chalet… Filet mignon with chicken and shrimp with 8 sauces on the side to dip. Lastly for desert dulce de lecha with strawberries… bananas…pineapples and a series of breads. Definitely will be back!

What a spectacular evening in such a charming environment! The Little Chalet is truly a unique dining experience with an incredible team behind it all. Richard and Frank really made us feel right at home. We started off the evening with the Swiss Alps Original cheese fondue which was beyond amazing! That could have been our main entrée and we would have been perfectly happy… it was that good! We then did the Royal Chalet experience that comes with a ton of really yummy dipping sauces for the steak, shrimp and chicken which you get to cook yourself which is fun. We then had the cookies and cream fondue which I couldn’t stop eating… it was that amazing! The ambiance is beautiful and there’s a piano player who comes around to ask about your favorite songs. Can’t wait to go again! :)

My mother was in town celebrating her birthday and I wanted to make it special. I spoke to Carlinhos and he was just so pleasant from the beginning. I was able to buy my mom a bottle of wine and he even went out of his way to get a card and sign it for me, she was in tears of happiness. Truly great service and all kinds of accommodations! me being from the west coast. Thank you so much Carlinhos

We went late on a Saturday night. The restaurant has a charming Swiss-inspired décor, and it feels very cozy. For an appetizer, I ordered the Little Chalet salad and my husband had the French onion soup. Both were excellent — the soup used good-quality cheese, which many often don’t. We then shared the Swiss Alps fondue, with a side of noisette potatoes, as our entrée. The bread basket was small and not proportional to the amount of fondue, so we ordered a second basket of white bread. The fondue was well-made and flavorful. I didn’t like the noisette potatoes, which were deep-fried; I would prefer either boiled or roasted potatoes.(Next time I’ll just order the rösti instead.) For dessert we had the milk chocolate fondue, which was again very good. The pretzels were a little stale, but the other accompaniments were tasty, and there were more than enough of them for the amount of chocolate. Service was good, if unremarkable. We would happily go back again, though it’s pricey enough to be a special-occasion sort of place.

I’ve heard so many positive things about this place, so I decided to give it a go. I was solo and sat at the bar. The service was excellent, the bartenders were both super friendly and helpful. The décor in Little Chalet is remarkably different than most South Florida places. It was very clean, and reminded me of being up in a snowy cabin abroad. It was really welcoming. Now, onto the food! I had a wonderfully fresh caesar salad to start. I also enjoyed two nice glasses of Cabernet(forget the name). The wine glasses were beautiful(a must with me). I ordered the filet mignon which came with a very interesting potato side. They were amazing. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this place is doing the best steaks in Boca Raton!

We here for brunch — walking in great greeting by the hostess friendly — a lot of choices — food finger licking good — this comes with a little price — but well worth it

Tonight’s experience was different. We came in for the Groupon for two but we were 3 people so I ordered an extra cooked item(filet dinner).(My girls don’t eat a lot so it was way too much food.) Piano entertainment was enjoyable. Many didn’t have requests and so my daughter asked for musicals and he played phantom songs, wizard of oz and more. Very nice evening. The iced tea is peach flavored and I don’t care for that but it was replaced with hot tea which was perfect with my lemon. I hate when they forget my lemon. For the fondue dinner I recommend you eat the filet very rare. It’s absolutely delicious even without the sauces. I dipped in my leftover pepper from the cooked filet and it was perfect. The fondues were very hot except for the petite dessert chocolate. Melted but not warm enough for me. Otherwise great service, ambiance and great dining experience.

Not at all worth it! — UPDATE: SEECOMMENTFROMLYINGRICKY/FRANK BELOW —«you did not express your dissatisfaction to the manager» — We most certainly did, and YOU are the one who I directly spoke to at our table. LIARLIARLIAR!!! You compensated us for NOTHING. — This was our first and last time here. The hostess was absent from her station for a minute before greeting us, and seated us in the«engagement room.» This is very poorly named, somewhat presumptuous, and if anyone were actually getting engaged there, the surprise would be ruined. This is a small but open room off to the side with 4 sweetheart tables. The seats were comfortable, and the décor was excellent. The restaurant is very clean and extremely well decorated. The piano player greeted us and asked for requests. The music added a nice touch of ambiance. Our waiter, Odi, greeted us, and explained that they have been open for 7 months and the owners are from Brazil. I fail to see how their nationality is relevant. In fact, it detracts from the«Swiss Chalet» vibe they’re going for. He went on to explain that they are known as a steakhouse. This also doesn’t quite jive with the fondue-centric focus. We ordered Spicy Chili Chalet cheese fondue($ 28) with«light mix» of broccoli and cauliflower($ 6), the stuffed chicken breast($ 29), and pecan-crusted sweet potato($ 9.80). After ordering, the owner, Igor, introduced himself. We told him it was our first visit and he was welcoming. The cheese fondue arrived, already melted and ready to eat, along with some white and cranberry nut bread cubes. These were not at all the«freshly baked artisanal bread» they advertise on their menu. The bread was lackluster and seemed store-bought. They vegetables were also fully cooked, which makes them easy to lose in the cheese. After a noticeably long wait, the chicken was served with the sweet potatoes. Much to our disgust, the chicken was raw inside. I called over our waiter and told him so, to which he quipped, «so we’ll cook it.» No apology was offered. Again, after a long wait, they produced the same chicken but fully cooked. Our waiter also replaced the sweet potato, pointing out that the replacement was free of charge. Seriously? The chicken was tasty, but nothing spectacular for the price point. The manager, Frank, came by to see how we were enjoying our meal. I told him about the undercooked chicken, to which he feigned ignorance. He didn’t seem genuine in his concern or his apology, nor did he offer to discount the meal or comp us a dessert. Dessert was also a total disappointment. We ordered the s’mores, which was dark chocolate, poorly melted, with marshmallow fluff on top, absent the requisite graham cracker. The platter consisted of pound cake, brownie, marshmallow, banana, strawberry, and pineapple. There was also a cup of pirouline cookies and pretzel sticks, both of which were stale and inedible. Our waiter did not check on us, and was very inattentive. We had to keep asking for water as well. We also sat for quite some time after finally calling the waiter over to request the check. Dinner came to $ 101.35, even though we shared one entrée and had no drinks. While the décor and ambiance were lovely, the meal and service were a disaster and totally unworthy of the exorbitant price demanded. Having patronized The Melting Pot well over 100 times in 20 years, I was expecting at least their level of service, quality, and presentation. I was sorely disappointed. Will not return.

It was my one year anniversary and my waiter joked that the only things I should give my man is food, sex, and the remote. Sexist much. Also mentioned that boyfriend should run while he can. Like okay lol. The place was romantic, I expected waiters to be all about that love atmosphere. But besides that uncomfortable moment for me, The steak obviously wasn’t seasoned because it would boil off. So on that note, boiled steak is flat out awful. For the money, I thought we would have more on our plates. Instead the whole entire table was filled with all kinds of weird dipping sauces. If you go, you’ll understand what I mean. My boyfriend and I are total foodies and steak is a favorite of ours. It just tasted so weird I can’t even explain it. I would recommend steering away from their fondue selections if you actually enjoy the flavor and spices of a steak dish. Also it wasn’t just steak, there was shrimp and chicken. However my boyfriend didn’t want the chicken for whatever reason. He regretted saying no to it now lol.

Another Spring, another year… It was my birthday and I was invited to celebrate my special day at Little Chalet. I had driven by it and noticed the romantic atmosphere and made a mental note that I would love to check it out. I had an incredible day filed with love from the moment I woke up to prior to get ready to enjoy dinner. No need to say that I let my girly side speak out loud and got my nice lace dress on and high hills to keep celebrating this day. We had our reservation and we were seated in no time to where we chose to seat. The decoration was so intimate and relaxing. It had the perfect atmosphere of the mountains, as I could almost imagine snow coming down outside. There was a musician playing piano live throughout our dinner. My handsome companion made sure I felt special and had a great time as he requested the sommelier, Carlos, to assist us choosing our wine. Carlos was very knowledgeable and helped us to chose a special Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignon 2010. To start we chose the Quattro Formagi, a foundue made with sharp and strong cheeses as Parmesan, Grand Cru and Blue cheese. It came accompanied with bread and we also chose veggies. Our conversation with our sommelier, his preparation of our wine, the set up of our fondue was so special, and romantic that I did not want the evening to end. We took our time to savor the fondue and the wine. Once we were done we decided that we wanted something light to end our evening and we decided for the Honey Glazed Salmon. It came nicely medium cooked as we had requested on a bed of roasted fennel and purple cabbage. It was delicious and settled our palates in a light nice way. We decided to skip dessert as I had a cake waiting for us at home. I left the restaurant stepping on clouds as I had«the experience», the service was spotless, the attention endless and at the right amount. This is such a great addition to the restaurant scene in Boca. I truly hope they stay for a long time as I would love to return and explore their menu a bit more…

Are you freaking kidding me with this place? HORRIBLERIPOFF! Might be the WORST restaurant ever for the money. They charge high end steakhouse prices and give you Dennys food and service. What a Joke! Steak was like horse meat cooked in a frying pan. Tough, flavorless, and 52 bucks on a plate plain. The salmon tiny, flavorless, and served over some joke of a cabbage mess. Seriously 38 bucks. I have been a dining critic for a National publication for years and never felt so ripped off in my life. The servers were nice but so forgetful and amateurish. Doe in the headlights look. Please close now to avoid the inevitable. Places like this piss me off. obviously lol.

What people do not realize is this is not strictly a fondue place but a very high end steak house. Likely one of the best steaks in Boca. Prime steak cuts cooked to perfection. Highly recommend it. The environment is quaint and comfortable. They have a piano player in the background. Excellent experience. The fondue desert is an added bonus of you have the room.

The food and the environment are amazing! When I got to The Little Chalet, I felt enchanted, The decoration is so cozy and warm. The service was pretty attentive and we were surprised by the flavor of the appetizers. The waiter suggested us to try the Cheese Fondue wich was delicious and we also ordered the«Surf an Turf» fondue, Jesus!!! It was the best food I’ve ever had. So delicious! They have a sweet potato that is mandatory to try. The wine list is very complete, but for this time, we tried their Sangria, that made us feel happy with a soft taste but still memorable. Just Perfect! In the end of our dinner we asked for a sweet fondue and we got surprised again, sooo yummy! Perfect for the end of the night! We’re planning to go back as soon as possible. Excellence is the word for The Little Chalet! We do recommend!

This place is delicious!!! We did the three fondue course. Everything we are tasted fresh and delicious Our server was attentive, but not over the top. The staff is clearly trained properly here. It is a little pricey, but I would definitely recommend this place to someone for a special occasion!
