Terrible service. I waited in front of the register for 6 minutes while a person stood there and ordered icecream-didnt get it for half an hour

We were there last night and the manager Dave was awesome. We came with my nephew, who has soy and dairy allergies. So why go to an ice cream parlor? Sorbet! He had the lemon sorbet, which btw is amazing. The employees were very careful with his order and made us feel totally welcome. Cool location that connects to the Burger Joint. I haven’t been to this one but loved the Burger Joint on 59 and 95th in Naperville.

Great ice cream! They have summer apple and cherry pie ice cream during the summer that is really good. You can’t go wrong with the shakes, mixes, sundaes or just a single scoop of your favorite flavor.

Their Ice Cream is Delish! My fav is a toss up between BlueBerry Pie & Black Cherry. Also their Turtle Latte gives Starbucks a run for its money, the cinnamon hot chocolate is really good too. They have board games & chess set up on some of the tables. It’s pretty pricy but, their milk & ice cream is the only cow milk that my family can have without getting congested. No rBGH, humane treatment of their cows & ethics!

I think its a bit over hyped — Andy’s down the street is so much better. Not a terrible option if there’s nothing else…

Summer 2013, I remember visiting this little shop buy my cousin’s house when I was visiting Chicago. I’m not a huge fan of dairy and ice cream so I stuck with the frozen fruit bars that they sold in their freezers. I did try it when I was at home and it was pretty good, also it’s neat how the milk jugs are glass and reusable.

I travel to Monee quite frequently and my coworkers kept telling me I had to go try some of their milk and ice cream… wow!

Delicious shakes and other dairy products! I try to make it in here at least once every time I visit my old home place! Still great after all these years!

My sister made the mistake of taking me to Oberweis years ago when I went to visit her. She didn’t know it at the time, but she was creating a monster. They make the best milk shakes that I have ever had, and I never leave Chicago without stopping off at Oberweis for one. The last time I was there it was only for a few hours. I insisted on stopping at Oberweis and almost missed my flight home. I ended up running through the airport with no shoes on after getting through security. What can I say… the milk shakes are worth it!

Uh, literally the best ice cream I’ve had. So glad this is in my hometown. Check out the chocolate peanut butter. It’s my favorite. A little pricey for icecream, but that’s because it’s actually good and worth it.

We used to come here all the time for our weekend desert with the kids but after a year of getting our orders wrong, I’m going elsewhere. The ice-cream is great but expensive and for some reason the staff has had a difficult time getting orders correct multiple times(6+). When I’ve ordered ice-cream to eat in the store it’s not as big deal, I can ask them to remake it, but when I get home to find out a $ 20 take-out order is wrong… I’m pissed. I’m not picky, I don’t mean they gave me crushed peanuts vs. whole. I’m referring to mix-ups like vanilla instead of chocolate or a chocolate shake when I ordered a malt.

$ 19 for 2 kids treats, a malt and a sundae!!! This is the fourth time in a row that they have gotten our order wrong(how hard is it to put CHOCOLATE ice cream in a chocolate sundae with chocolate ice cream?) The chocolate malts are weak on malt flavoring and chocolate flavoring(they almost taste like vanilla sometimes) and the toppings for the sundae are hit or miss. The atmosphere is nice but if you are looking for good ice cream, save your money and go someplace with more consistent service and food.(Perhaps Andy’s just down the road?)

So is there any way to improve on a perfect day? Correct answer: A stop at Oberweis. Their seasonal flavors really satisfy my palate. Consistency makes for a lot of smiling faces. The only issue with this location is ~ the location. It does not front Weber Road. It is on the back side of the cluster of businesses and facing the movie theater. If you were not aware of that little tidbit, you could be driving around for a long time. Now that I have made you aware, head on over and enjoy :) I still have that silly smile on my face.

Gotta love some good ice cream every once in a while. I used to be an ice cream junkie — I’ve switched to caffeine and have been in a committed relationship with it for a few years now — but every so often I like to sneak out and cheat on caffeine with some good ol’ frozen dairy products. I love the mint ice cream in the candied waffle bowl. I can’t ever finish it, but if I’m gonna do ice cream, I go all out. I love the chess tables — how fun is that?! I advise some portable Lysol though. I mean, not just for Oberweiss, but for everywhere you go where you know you’re going to be touching objects that dozens of others have. Like for instance, I caught a cold, and for everywhere I’ve gone today, I’ve sprayed down doorknobs and whatever else I touched in hopes that no one else will catch mu germies :) Oberweiss is safe :). And DELICIOUS. Go. Go now :)

The 3 stars is more a comment on the location than the sweet sweet delicious coma inducing ice cream and dairy. Clearly I’m a fan of the products(not the store and not ol’ Jim). There was a time(like 10 years ago) when employees(my sister worked there) got 50% off everything including delivery and we had two boxes just because I would drink a ½ gallon of milk a day. This is another business that suffers from single-trackitis. Take an order and then move on to the next customer. Instead they take an order and complete it while everyone waits. If there are 3 people in line expect a fifteen minute wait.

Get this seasonal delight while it is available. Note, it’s a bit more pricey than other nogs, but worth every penny!

Probably the most expensive ice cream treats we ever indulge in, but WORTHIT! We first came in search of the perfect shake(and found it), but we’ve since branched out to ordering waffle cones as well(be careful — 2 scoops is a lot!) which are also delicious. The average bill for two people is probably $ 9 or more.

Dulce De Leche in a waffle cone, that’s all you need to know. Ice Cream shop that serves up fresh milk=winner in my book.
