Had the displeasure of booking an appointment here with Elissa. She was rude and unprofessional, and cancelled my appointment on arrival because she«no longer had time» despite being told to come in by another employee literally minutes before. On arrival, they had no interest in figuring out who instructed me to come down and instead welcomed me to leave with no option of retaining my appointment for the day. Absolutely ridiculous. I took time out of my day to drive there, only to be turned away at the door with some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I asked for a managers contact information to which she responded, «I’m the manager.» I’ll never return and I encourage all of you to go elsewhere, it’s not hard to find a much better place in Boston. EDIT: I called to file a complaint with corporate and the franchise owner has been in contact with me. She apologized for the experience and is offering a free haircut. While the service at the location was subpar, I am happy with the efforts made to remedy the situation from a franchise level.

This is a great place to get your haircut. Especially the manager Elisa really cares about her customers and does a fantastic job. I highly recommend going here for a good price and great haircut. I am definitely going back even though it is a bit of a trip from Cambridge. Thanks so much!

Amazing experience here today! I was styled by a gentleman named Andres and I can sincerely say I’ve never had someone do my hair that was so attentive and did exactly what I asked for. Will definitely be returning!

Been thrice before. First two visits were great experience but the last one was horrible. I forgot her name who was cutting my hair but I felt like she was experimenting this first time on my hair. Otherwise other people are good at this.

So I definitely have mixed feelings about this place. My stylist was great and a very nice person — Fiona — I’d absolutely recommend her, but for what I got, I wouldn’t go back to supercuts or recommend it to other people. For men’s haircuts or simple women’s haircuts(bang trimmings) supercuts is convenient and you don’t have to make an appointment. HOWEVER, for anything else, I’d go to a regular salon. First things first, I wanted my hair ombré-d.(I have shoulder length brown hair) and I just wanted the ends to be lighter as a change. I called supercuts to see if they do this and how much it would cost. The girl said they can’t quote over the phone, but ballpark for my length hair it should be $ 65 – 85. So I figured it would be around $ 75. We show up on Sunday(my friend was getting her hair done too) and we find out that the lightening(not dyeing — it’s bleach but they call it «developer») starts at $ 105 for my length hair. I told her what I heard from the woman I called and talked to and she said they were mistaken(even though I was clear and explicit about what I wanted). SO it starts at $ 105. My friend wanted her hair to go from red to blonde. So they said they’d have to charge her $ 105 for the lightning and $ 65 for the dye — - now, they’re only doing each service to less than half her hair so this doesn’t totally make sense to me, but you can see how getting quoted $ 65 – 85 for a service and then starting at $ 105 and $ 170 is a bit upsetting. In retrospect we should have left, but we wanted to do it that day(busy schedules) and we had already made the trek there and called ahead so they were waiting for us. Everything else, but the price, went okay. My stylist told me as she went that I could pick up the developer cream at a Sally Beauty for $ 4.99 and do it myself because it was easy. cool. Glad I’m spending $ 105. My friend, who’s hair was being done by the manager, asked her about the price and she said she was sorry but she didn’t have the authority to change the price… And I’m calling bullpoop on that one. We walked away with what we wanted, but after having paid way too much for the service and talent that we got. Simple haircuts — go ahead. Dyes and anything else — look around. It’s boston, there’s plenty of other salons that are probably competitively priced considering what we paid.
