All in all a quality haircut experience. You are welcomed with chilled beer that is made next door at the pub. The staff is friendly, the location is well kept and the experience is inviting. The haircuts are overpriced at full price; however, Groupon often offers deals that makes it about $ 25 dollars. Being a beer is at least $ 5 on happy hour the means you get a great hair cut for around $ 20 bucks– not bad…

Had the executive cut with William, he was professional and displayed a character of enthusiasm and creativity. He is an artist and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I would recommend to anyone. Right now there is a groupon for around half off, it is well worth it! I will be back.

Adding one star. At least the owner responded. Not in a great way, but responded. He first responded with a long and somewhat accusatory and demeaning response that had me ready to return to Unilocal and reiterate my one star review and vow to never visit the place again. I see he has deleted that response and replaced it with a more even keeled response. So, maybe eventually they will work out the issues. But I think some of those issues are deeply attitudinal and will take some time to correct. I don’t see any real reach out in the response though. No offer to come by and talk about it or work through issues and try again. So, I probably won’t be going back.

Advised the person I was on the job market and that I needed something that laid down easy and by the way, watch out for those two crazy cow-​licks. Most people with eyes can quickly figure out I’m about 60 years old. I figured for the $$ I’d get a pro who knew what to do.
Wrongo! I usually wait three days to decide whether I like a cut or not. It’s been three weeks. I still look like an aging Maclemore wannabe. Seriously?
So if you’re seeking a place where the words that fall out of your mouth are ignored and you want the haircut everyone under 30 seems to be getting these days, give the place a try, you won’t be disappointed. Oh, and don’t worry, «it’ll grow out».

Nice people. I didn’t end up getting my haircut here today. $ 39 for the cut plus $ 14 to trim the goatee is a bit pricey for my mug.

Dawn Thompson is talented and creative. She has a way of making you feel comfortable while offering her expert opinion. I’d highly recommend her if you want excellent service and a great new style. The salon is friendly and you can even have a beer from John Howie’s place next door! Wonderful place to get a new DO! Thank you Dawn!

I went here yesterday and was pretty satisfied with my experience.
Although I didn’t book online, I was able to get my haircut after I walked in. My stylist was Dawn. She was very nice and understood what I wanted. The price is definitely high for a haircut but I was able to get the student cut which consisted of a shampoo before the haircut and a quick rinse afterwards, I think this should be a no brainer for any salon out there since no one would want to drive their way back home with loose hair all over their cars after a haircut. I also got a free drink while I was waiting to get my cut and the service is exceptional.

Had a great experience there today, New Year’s Eve. I had marlen cutting my hair and I told her kind of what I wanted but I wasn’t completely sure. She was extremely nice and more than helpful in guiding me in the right direction. I ended up wanting it a little shorter on the sides, my fault, not hers. Marlen did her thing and I’m very happy with the outcome. The only reason I give it four rather than five stars is the price. It’s very expensive considering I can do almost the same cut at home. But it is a WAY better experience than your standard great clips or hairmasters.

I have been twice now, and both times the service has been fantastic. Hair is a very personal thing, we all have a style in mind and so often things can get «lost in translation «between you and the stylist. No such problems here.
Marlen has been really good to work with. She understood my hair issues and concerns and has exceeded all my expectations.
In the near future, I want to get a shave so I can see how that stacks up!
It’s the type of establishment I have been looking for, seemingly for ages. Can’t say enough good things.

This is subjected to change since my boyfriend hasn’t gotten his hair cut yet (he’s going to the redmond location since its only a walk from his work) but… the customer service i got there while just getting a gift card was AWESOME. Very informative, friendly & not pushy :) I LOVE good customer service!!! I wish I could remember the name of the lovely front desk girl… I know she was brunette/​dark haired.

My stylist, Kelly, is great. She cuts and styles my hair exactly I want it. She’s also very friendly. I think the price point is a bit high but she’s experienced and provides additional services with the cut like a steamed towel facial, a mini upper massage, washes hair, and uses good quality products. I think the experience is pretty nice from start to finish.

First the positives — new, clean, good customer service, beer on tap. However, if they really want to be in the «fine men’s salon» business, they need to really step up their game in terms of the quality of haircut they give. And if you’re in the hair-​cuttin business, all the other nice-​to-​have stuff with the beer and new décor is secondary. I used their Signature special for a couple haircuts. The second time, I got home before I noticed that the hair was cut uneven and I even had a nice bald patch in the back of my head. I went back the next day and they were nice enough to try and fix some of it. This place is a glossed up Sport Clips that charges like it’s Capelli’s (which is where you should be going).

I’ve been in twice now and each time has been great. The first time I booked a son and father cut. Great deal for the both of us to get an awesome haircut.
I came back this last Sunday to get another cut since it had been a little over 3 weeks. Had another outstanding cut with an awesome stylist. I like that they have beer on tap too. :) I just wish it was from a better brewery. The brewery they have on tries, but there’s much better local beer around.

I recommend booking an appointment before you head in. They have a couple different options, online, call, or in person. I walked in and they were booked so I got an appointment the next day.
They have a very clean, professional and classy atmosphere. It’s a nice step above the normal salons or barber shops in the area. The employees are very friendly and there to help with any questions you have about 18/​8, the products, the stylists or the pricing. As a first time customer they treat you above and beyond what you expect from most places.
To top it all off the stylist Romey gave me a great hair cut and a free card to come back in 2 weeks to get a Express Cut to clean up around the ears and neckline. It’s a great place for a man to get a haircut in a classy masculine atmosphere, highly recommended.
