Customer service is about as bad as it could get, literally. I would elaborate on specific occurrences but it is really a waste of time. Avoid this DQ for sure! Their lack of customer focus and horrific inconsistencies in delivering what should be a straightforward product will be the downfall of this franchise. What is really horrifying is the last time I went through the drive through I watched an employee washing the side of a machine with a rag put the rag down and assist with making(handling) a banana split — absolutely disgusting. To the owner: if someone orders a blizzard, let’s fill it up and not ¾ the way so it looks like someone ate some of it. At this point it wouldn’t shock me if someone did.

So Frustrating! Except to wait at least 10 – 15 minutes on a good day when you go thru the drive thru. The girls that work there are nice but very slow at everything! IDK if it’s low staffed or what but I lived down the street and I try to go to a different one as much as possible because it just takes forever to get anything. Overall taste like any other dairy Queen just very slow.

We live near this Dairy Queen and have gone by about 10 times. Every time the service(inside or in the drive through) takes ten minutes or longer(tonight for example took 24 minutes in the drive through for two blizzards). I think their business processes and employees need to be looked into. A good manager would be able to improve both in order to streamline the service times.

This place is a GREAT place to grab a quick ice cream cake for a party! And they are A LOT cheaper than any other place! It only takes a few minutes, pick out your cake, have them write on it, and vioa! Don’t waste your money on something else. Serious. Just do this.

This Dairy Queen location has fond memories from the 1990s when I used to work in the Bothell-Canyon Park area. I revisited this location on 6÷12÷15 and 9÷27÷15 and prefer dining onsite. The drive through traffic looks like it would take too long. Plusses — tasty and generous combos, Blizzards, and Orange Julius beverages. Probably the biggest negative is seeing the frazzled, not overly happy looking counter staff. Maybe having more hires at the counter or at the grill would not have them appear to be «in the weeds». Really trying to at least fake a smile would make all the difference. Try visiting a MOD Pizza location as a random point of reference. Slammed, but usually the entire line looks like a cohesive team, go out of their way to have you(the customer) feel welcomed, and put out a fairly decent product. Hey DQ management — read mine and several other recent Unilocal posts. A bit of remediation training in customer service(or more qualified staff) would be a grand improvement.

The young high school girls who work here are so horribly rude. I went to order and the girl was looking down just staring and didn’t acknowledge me so I asked if she was ready for my order. She looked up and just stared at me. Weird. So I ordered. I was waiting up front for my blizzard and the girls working are loudly talking about how disgusting the items they are making are and how stupid these people are for ordering it. The girl at the register starts talking to the girl who has my ice cream. They continue their conversation while the girl is playing with my ice cream!!’ Some other girl tells the girl that it’s my Ice cream and she’s like oh no she’s been standing right here while I’m playing with her ice cream. Yeahhh. The place was filthy as well. Obviously they haven’t been cleaning up after they finish customers orders. And my banana split blizzard was all strawberries! They need better staff. They’re totally ruining this business.

This Dairy Queen is awful ! It is super slow. Not friendly service. I have been through the drive thru a few times the last couple months and every time it’s the same, I wait forever to get my order and no one is friendly or even smiles at the customers. To top it off today I got to the window and literally sat there for 10 min before they even took my money then charged me for the wrong order and couldn’t figure out how to fix it ! After 20 min at the window I finally got my order which was thrown together and looked horribly done.

I stopped by here for a blizzard on 8⁄14. It was the peanut butter one, and it tasted fake. There were only 2 cars ahead of me in the drive thru, and it took 10 minutes before I was at the pick-up window. I had to ask for a receipt, which irritated me because they have a special going on for completing the survey and the teenager working looked like he was completely surprised that I would ask for a receipt. This is the worst DQ I have ever gone too. I went their and tried the chicken $ 5 lunch box and it had to of been one of the most greasiest lack of effort food I have ever had. I had been here several times before and everytime I go it gets worse and worse and today was the last straw. The attitude of the employees are horrible. Today was my last visit here.

If I could give a 1 star review I would. This place has horrible service, every time I have been in the drive thru window it’s has taken no less than 15min to get my order. They have an all high school staff and there aren’t any adults there the make things run smoothly. The food typically is Luke warm and sometimes cold. If the employees spent less time playing grab ass and actually worked then it would be a good place to go.

Don’t order your blizzard in a waffle cone. You are getting over charged. They ran out of waffle cones so they ended up giving us waffle bowls and we saw exactly how much was in the cones that cost $ 3.59. It ended up being about 5 bites of ice cream. We have definitely learned our lesson and will be sticking to a pint of Ben and Jerry’s or going to Coldstone who’s portions are definitely worth the money.

I never review fast food chains for obvious reasons, but I’m making a special exception. I’ve been craving a Blizzard after seeing commercials, and seeing numerous check ins on my Facebook newsfeed. Decided to go treat myself. Arriving at the drive thru, I asked if they had mint flavoring still.(Shows how long it’s been since I’ve gone to a DQ.) They said yes and I could have it in any blizzard I wanted. I asked for a Mint M&M Blizzard with an extra pump of mint. I remember when I use to get them 10+ years ago they never put enough mint flavoring in. My husband ordered a Heath Blizzard on a waffle cone. We get to the window, total is $ 8! $ 8??? Jesus. Didn’t blizzards use to be like $ 2.50?!? As we pull away I notice an Oreo on the top. Hmmm, maybe there was some cross contamination? Whatever. When I got home I noticed that like 50% of it was Oreos and 50% M&Ms. Gross. My husband said his Heath blizzard had some cross contaminated candy pieces in his too. Do they not clean off the blade between mixing?!? Seriously! I also noticed the LACK of mint flavoring, that they charged me an extra .50 cents for! How hard is it to get a blizzard order correct? Apparently pretty difficult! Dairy Queen has really gone down hill over the years. Won’t be going back there. No matter how strong my craving… I will just revisit this review and remember not to fall into temptation.

I like DQ as far as ice cream, burgers, onion rings, they even have diet pepsi. But damn the employees are unprofessional. She owed me a penny after I handed over cash and some change, she looks at me and says«Do you even want the penny?» lol. No, its all you.

This Dairy Queen is a hard one to review. I have been here on several visits and the service and food quality is very hit and miss. It is very clear that some employees at this store care and others do not. I visited today, during a day where the area was under high temperatures(90’s) and had been known it would be this hot for days. The location was very busy, which is no surprise due to the temperature, but what was surprising was the lack of staff working. To me, this shows a very huge lack of management of the store. Sure, its great to save on payroll, but not at the expense of your customers. This resulted in an over 25 minute wait for a chicken sandwich combo and several guests who I witnessed leaving the store without placing an order. The location is also very run down. On every visit, there is water dripping from the roof outside by the drive thru. Scary thing is where is this water coming from, especially on a 90 degree day without days of rain prior? Marketing on store windows(Cheeseburger window cling) states they offer Coca Cola, yet they only offer Pepsi. The location also has a horrible credit card processing equipment, resulting in them having to swipe your card several times to get their payment provider to connect. This DQ could have alot of potential, but the things above indicate a lack of ownership /management care so I doubt much will change.
