Tonight we came to take advantege of the BOGO promotion w/purchase of a 30oz. Drink. As we waited in a long line we discussed what we wanted go eat(meatball marinara & chicken bacon ranch footlongs). After counting our money and realizing I have to downgrade my original sandwich. I decided on a lesser one(cold cut). The guy next to us in line chatted with us for a bit and probably overheard us talking from earlier. When we got to the point of starting our order and the same guy we were talking to earlier leans over to my wife and tells her to go ahead and get the sandwichs we want and that he is offering to pay for them under the BOGO promotion. My wife thanked him first for offering something we did not expect. We proceeded to order what we originaly wanted minus the meatball sub. As we watched our food being made I couldn’t help but feel lifted off my feet like a rush or excitement. Somehow they were out. Seems to happen a little too often! Anyhow I thanked him again as he hurried past me and left. Once we got to the register with our sandwichs the cashiers were surprised at what had happened. All three us briefly reflected on that moment in disbelief and happiness. Tonight shocked us in a good way and i hope people continue this act. I always do with my spare change at the grocery store, or anywhere really. Tonight is one to remember.
