What more can you ask for? Fast clean, inexpensive quality Japanese food for reasonable prices! Boulder has a plethora of restaurants, few of them are great. This one is!

First and foremost, their service was friendly, welcoming, and filled with smiles and genuine interest to serve me as a paying customer. Just on this alone they have earned my business at least once again. The food was also great. Had the California Combo and the Tempura Udon. Took my meal to go and it was still excellent and tasty when I got home to Louisville. The portions were good. Nothing crazy huge but for the money they were definitely good size portions. Atmosphere wise it’s pretty nice inside and very clean. Kind of a small space but excellent for a casual fate or sushi with small group of friends. No complaints yet but will definitely write another review when I return. Great first experience!

This is a family-run business with really nice people, excellent customer service, efficient ordering, and fast-served food. Prices are very reasonable for college students. Quality of food is very good! Vegetarians have several options, i.e. avocado rolls, vegetable poke bowl with no fish, vegetarian ramen with miso soup base(if you don’t eat fish then ask for no bonito flakes), vegetarian udon with miso soup base(best), miso soup, edamame, and inari(rice in tofu skin). If you ask for no fish cakes for the noodles, they can replace them with avocado — just ask and see what they will do for you. All sushi comes with ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce. An example of how nice they are is that the owner noticed how much my vegetable ramen soaked up the soup because I was busy eating avocado rolls, and he offered to put more miso soup in it so it wouldn’t be so dry. Very nice people. The cashiers have always been super nice every time I go. For water dispenser they have both cold and hot water options. If water isn’t your thing, they have a few drink options, i.e. Arizona tea and soda. They are indeed on HungryBuffs for hungry college students so that’s a real plus. Hope this helps and that you also enjoy this delicious and wonderful place! :)

There was so much aoli/mayo on the bowl that I could not even taste the tuna. It had potential but it the bowl was ruined by the sauce and I couldn’t even eat it. Motomaki is way better.

Oh my goodness, I am obsessed with this cute little hole in the wall. Super clean & peaceful environment. Try the spicy tuna poke bowl. This place serves power food that will keep you fueled for the day. I’d come here everyday for lunch if I could. No joke! It’s right on the hill in the same building as cosmos pizza on the top floor tucked in the NWCORNER!

Best. Poke bowls. Ever. Seriously if you’re looking for a quick and easy Japanese food fix, this is the place to be. They also offer a «Buffs Special» for students which comes with a free miso soup! I ordered the tuna poke bowl for $ 7.99 and the 8pc salmon roll for $ 3.99. The tuna poke bowl is a phenomenal mix of raw tuna, spicy crabmeat, rice, lettuce, seaweed salad, avocado, crispy onions, sprouts, and a semi-spicy poke sauce that ties it all together. The fish and vegetables are prepared right when you order, and taste incredibly fresh. The owner is SO nice and friendly and so excited to walk you through the extensive menu. The roll itself wasn’t my favorite, but after the poke bowl I had no complaints. Will definitely be back! Maybe next time for the Buff special :)

THISPLACEHASDELICIOUSFOOD. Now that that’s out there: There are quite a bit of veggie tale(vegetarian) options from veggie bowls to udon in miso broth to veggie rolls! I most recently had the vegetarian poke bowl and found it both delicious and filling. It came with fresh veggies(including avocado, kale, and sprouts) and delicious sauces and toppings over a bed of warm, fluffy rice. I also had the veggie spring rolls which were incredibly crispy and delicious. I have yet to try the sushi here, but I’m sure it’s delicious. I have seen the owner prepare the sushi and I was in just in awe of how quickly and beautifully he prepared them. The prices are very reasonable(~$ 8) and one bowl will fill you up for hours. This is a family-run business, and a good one at that. Their hands are quick, the veggies are prepared fresh daily, and the sauces are all made in house. And, the best part? Their food actually tastes good. On service: Bento-ria deserves a million gold stars. I’ve never met such kind people in my life. The owners are seriously the nicest people I’ve ever met. Honestly, I would just come back for the service, but they serve delicious poke bowls on top of fine service, so why wouldn’t I be back? They know what’s up and they deserve all the business in the world. Hope in humanity restored. Thank you, Bento-ria. Oh, one last thing: they’re now on Hungry Buffs! So, get at ‘em Buffs! Happy new year. Treat yoself to some bento-ria goodness. SKOBUFFS.
