Service here really stinks. Let’s at least get that out of the way. If you want service… stop reading this now and look elsewhere. It’s a dive sports bar. Not many sports bars in Boulder so they do have a captive audience, unfortunately. The hostesses are the worst here. Quoted us 10 – 15 mins for a table(game day… I get it if there are delays) but when asked about status 20min later they said a table for 6 wasn’t going to happen. Really??? Simply not going to happen or you’re too lazy to do your job and combine tables to make this happen? In the meantime we watched parties of 2 seated at the large booths(enough to squeeze 6 in). We also watched them continuously seat 2 and 4 tops with no effort given to «save» tables and combine them for a 6 top. Leads me to my previous note — the hostesses are utterly lazy and dumb as rocks regarding customer service. My preference was to leave, unfortunately the others in my party wanted to stay and we sat in the(exceptionally dingey) basement for the game. Downstairs bartender was nice. Otherwise I was reminded why I haven’t been here in 2 years and don’t plan to return.

Came for happy hour. Large bar, was pretty empty when we came. Prices were cheap– $ 3 for whiskey and ginger and $ 3 draft beer. Good deal, however my husband didn’t like it here. I didn’t mind it.

The food is absolute garbage and extremely overpriced/inflated. They only exist because Boulder is a college town and many kids(not all) don’t know the difference between a good and bad restaurant yet. It is not an authentic sports bar. The service is subpar and at times flat out horrible depending on who is working. They have a food health rating of B, which I think is being generous. Yet somehow they charge quality food prices. There are plenty of better places to spend your money in Boulder.

Took 20 minutes to be greeted by our server. Food was decent. Charged us extra for«live music drink prices» 10 minutes before the prices were suppose to go up. Saw a cockroach in the bathroom roaming around. Won’t go back.

Love love love the dry rub from this place! Every time we visit Boulder this Lazy Dig is a must. A great sports bar. Way better than the Lazy Dog ‘family style’ restaurants that you’ll find anywhere else. Service was great too!

Stopped in for a drink while shopping. The hostess was upbeat and Smiley! Great happy hour on food and drinks. I had the hummus trio, it was yummy especially the honey curry hummus. I would go there again.

Really fun place to watch football on Sunday. During the first round of games, it seemed like somebody was cheering for every team which makes the atmosphere really fun. I don’t usually consider service a priority at a sports bar but I have to say, it was really great here. The hostess asked who we were there to watch and found us a spot where we would have a good view of that game. The waiter was attentive and quick. For the Broncos game, the place was even more fun. We bounced around Pearl St and this was by far the funnest option on game day.

We stopped in for a quick lunch and found the Lazy Dog had good food and service. I had the turkey club and my wife had a salad. Both were fresh and tasty. They have a good selection of beers on draft, and if you are a sports fan, there are TVs everywhere to catch almost any sporting event.

Stopped in for a bite to eat on a weekday at 11am. Place was almost empty when we got seated near the bar. Hostess took our orders and we waited, more people entered and ordered food and we waited, more people entered and we waited. 60 minutes later our food arrived. We had Fish Tacos and BBQ Pork Sandwich. Nothing fancy or difficult to prepare. Nothing that should take 60 minutes to get to the table. It was ok, but not worth the long wait.

Nothing to write home about. We were hopeful that the rooftop patio would be a better view of the mountains, but overall it was very spacious. Large bar when you walk in, and just like all the other reviews. It is your typical sports bar. A little grungy inside as with most sports bars. You can tell this is the place for the college kids to hang out, although I thought was a little pricier than I was hoping. No complaints about the service, I could tell he was busy, but never did I feel forgotten about and that I was waiting on him. Large menu, plenty of options and varieties of apps, nachos, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, BBQ, entrees, pizza, surely even a group of picky eaters could find something they like. I just had to try the Lazy Dog of course! The first ingredient sold me: Quarter Pound Smoked Elk-Jalapenos-Cheddar Sausage, Queso Dip, Buffalo Chili, Bacon, Jalapeño-Cheddar Bun $ 10.99 Pretty good, with all the toppings it honestly tasted like your typical chili dog, but I wasn’t disappointed. My boyfriend came craving a burger, our service suggested the Colorado Buffalo Burger: Buffalo Patty, Pepper Jack Cheese, Bacon, Roasted Poblano, and Chipotle Mayo served on a Brioche Bun $ 13.99. He was satisfied with it. I would probably only come back if I traveled back in time and was 19 again to party on the rooftop.

Ate lunch here today. Probably wouldnt have tried it if we read reviews. Glad we ate here though. Patio people watching. Fast service. Great service. Nice guy, law student from georgia y’all. The bbq dog bowl was reallly good, I liked the lazy bbq sauce a lot(smoky sweet spice). The veggie chili was tasty too. Fritters were ok. 4.5 stars, We would go back.

The hostess couldn’t be bothered to look up from her coloring, yes with crayons, to say hello, no welcome and no can i help you. Great first impression for your business lazy dog, or is this just lazy service? There’s lots of better choices on Pearl street.

The hostess here was so rude. We went up to the rooftop patio and the hostess showed us to our table. There were several other tables open and I wanted to sit in the sun, so I asked if we could instead sit at a table in the sun. She rudely replied«I just sat that section so if you wanna sit over there you’re gonna have to wait.» I think allowing the customer to sit at the table they want is more important than sitting the same section twice in a row when it’s not even busy. This is what happens when you hire a young, snobby girl as the face of your restaurant… it leaves a lasting, bad impression.

This is a cool spot on the cheaper end of the Pearl Street Mall(thank god). Lots of heavy wood in the space, a good selection of ales, service was perhaps a bit languid but friendly. Tables were a bit sticky. All in all I’d be back if only for the beers that are $ 2 cheaper than two blocks in.

Terrible service and absolutely horrible customer service. I was not allowed into the bar due to my «fake ID». Once the«bouncer» finally figured out my identification was real he still was rude and would not call a manager over to handle the situation. When I called the restaurant to speak to a manager, they were apparently too busy to speak over the phone. The food is barely mediocre, which leaves nothing to even say that is remotely positive about the place. I will never again step foot in this terrible establishment.

Lazy Dog Sports Bar & Grill is exactly what it sounds like: a sports bar and grill. It is located on Pearl Street in Boulder and has a good atmosphere for watching sports. We popped in for lunch one day and although it was not very crowded when we first got there, the lunch rush really picked up and it was quite crowded around 12:30−1. We started with drinks, which were very well priced. I was pleased to see a flight of local beers on the menu and I promptly ordered that. We got a variety of food items. I went for a club sandwich with sweet potato fries. The club sandwich was really nice and had a unique aoli sauce and avocado. The fries were quite good and paired very well with a side of honey mustard. Everyone enjoyed their food. Although it wasn’t the fanciest atmosphere, it certainly did the trick for us!

Came here for a show Saturday night and had a blast! Excellent venue, had just the right amount of charm and space. Bartenders were hit or miss, some especially friendly and some a bit standoffish, so not exceptional or disappointing. If another show were to be held here wouldn’t hesitate to go!

I LOVETHELAZYDOG! Fight night? Big game? Bored? The lazy dog is very interesting and a great sports bar. Where the Lazy Dog really shines? Trivia night, its a drinking game fueled, wheel of fortune(or despair), mystery shot, night of random collective knowledge. Dont bring a DD and take an über because at somepoint everyone at your table will probably be nice and drunk.

This is about what everyone else has said, a decent sports bar with a good beer list, full bar, and decent food. The service was good. I had a burger which was a burger. I’ll keep this short because this establishment could be located anywhere as it is your standard sports bar.

After an invitation to return for another experience, we were definitely reserved. However, a friend who came in out of town wanted to check out Pearl St Mall so we thought what better place than Lazy Dog. With a changed menu and a much more upbeat staff, our experience was far better. Not only that but the food is cooked restaurant style instead of microwave style. I would come back again. With the revision to the menu and better service, that makes for another visit. Looking forward to Lazy dog next time we head to Boulder! On a side note, we spotted our waiter from our first experience. Yup, he was still loafing around and gingerly walking up to his tables. As a suggestion, I would recommend that your waiters wash their hands after they use the restroom but this could be a one off. Till next time!
