Really surprised to see such poor reviews of this place. Maybe the delivery service is the problem. I had a great fresh salad, and the mac and cheese bites are awesome! I would totally eat there again– it’s a great place to grab a bite on the hill.

For fried food in Boulder I would say this is one of the best. Really good wiscosin cheese curds, french fries average, Good jalapeño poppers, fish sticks average, kettle chips are good… But my main complaints are this
*REALLY overpriced for what you get ($ 6 for 10 chips is atrocious)
*No dessert Options
*Not enough main meal/​side order options
I’ve given this place a couple times but I’m not ordering from them again.

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH LuLu’s BBQ in Louisville (this place is being sued over the name). I thought there was some relation and decided to try it out for delivery. To their credit they came in half the time they said they needed. The food was OK. Not the quality you would expect from a southern comfort food place. The buffalo burger was overpriced for a burnt patty (that did taste OK due to msg) with some decent but not well sliced sausage. Overall the burger tasted OK as a burger, once the sausage was removed for stability. The ‘white trash mac and cheese’ was cold, so cold, i doubt it was hot when they scooped it from the pan. That was a huge shame since that had been my favorite item to try. The cheese curds were probably the best portion of the meal. I will give this place 1 more shot as they just opened and might still be working out the kinks. However I would have given 3 stars if they hadn’t so boldly tried to make it look like they have an affiliation to one of the best and oldest BBQ joints around Boulder and delivered hotter, better built food. Maybe you have to eat in here for hot food.
*Update*: Ordered delivery today to see how things went again. took 2 hours to get the food. There was a hand written note on the box apologizing, but i’m not sure that makes up for it. Pulled pork is definitely much better than the bison burger I had last time, but still not great. Fish sticks were fine, frozen mega brand for sure, so fine. Cheese curds are consistent though they are really just cheese balls not actual curd. 2^nd try was still just C at best, with the high price and 5 $ delivery I don’t think i’ll try this place again for at least 6 months or so.
