My husband and I get pizza once a week-every 2 weeks. We normally get hungry howies since it’s a good pizza and it’s at a good price. I will never visit this location again though. If you can avoid it, go to the one in fishhawk or Valrico because they just don’t care here. They don’t put enough cheese on the pizza. They can’t cut it properly and they don’t season the crust well. All in all this is the worst. And it’s not all hungry howies… it’s just this one. Management needs to make some changes.

Never again. This Hungry Howies use to be ok but won’t go back. If you order anything for pickup be sure to look at the entire order before you leave. I had a problem with a chef salad I ordered not having any meat or cheese and the lettuce was wilted. When I called to complain and ask to credit the salad to my CC the kid night manager ended up hanging up on me. Go elsewhere or if not check your order before leaving.

I have never had a problem with hungry howies. While the quality is a bit lower than competing joints, it’s still a decent pizza. We almost always get our pizza quicker than promised. I love the flavored crust options. The cheesey bread is my favorite out there, definitely worth ordering. Overall, I’ll order from here again.

I usually choose Hungry Howies over the other pizza delivery places… But today may change that opinion.
Although I received my pizza in 35 minutes, 10 minutes earlier than promised, when I opened the box is where the disappointment set in.
Looks like the pizza was stored on its side as the pizza was bunched up on the left and the toppings had all slid to the left and left a 2 inch gap from the edge of the cheese and the dough on the right…
And to top it all off, the forgot to cut the damn pizza… Didn’t realize that Hungry Howies now requires their customers to cut their own pizzas…
Not a Happy Hungry Howie’s Customer…

This location blows the S Dale Mabry one out of the water. Delicious pizza and bread, though our crust seasoning was nowhere to be found :(
I’ll definitely be back though.
