Four stars for the food, one star for the management. My first visit here was two weeks ago when I moved to the area and I called and ordered a pizza and the person that took the call was very helpful in explaining their pizza selections. The pizza was good. I went with the square pepperoni large for my grandkids. My second call and visit wasn’t that pleasant. I called explained I wanted what I thought was the same pizza because the person on the phone this time didn’t go into details about the style of the pizzas. So I thought I was getting the same thing when she agreed to my description of what I wanted. I got home and realized it was not the same small square cuts that my grandkids liked so much. It actually was the deep dish which is round and it’s more like a pizza baked upside down. The sauce was on top and the meet at the bottom. Of course kids being kids not seeing the meat and cheese didn’t want any. So I called back and explained I must have ordered the wrong thing not realizing at the time. The young lady told me to just bring it back in 25 min and the will make me another one with no change. I thought, well thanks and I’m sorry for my mix up. I’m not familiar with the full menu just yet. I get there with the other pizza in hand ready to get the correct pizza the kids wanted. After several workers at the counter just looked at me waiting, a waitress says let me get the person that helped you. She comes to the counter and then tells me the manager said she will have to charge me because it was my fault. Mind you, I’d admitted that and had know problem with that but that’s not what I was told on the phone. I go back without my purse so I have no money on me anticipating I didn’t need it. They say sorry we can’t help you. If they had told me that when I called back at least I’d had the option if I even wanted to drive back and get the darn pizza and if did, I’d brought money with me. The pizza is good but the customer service(the management) was not the best. In my opinion, I feel she should have come out to the front to tell me herself our called me back after I initially called to tell me there was going to be another charge.

Very good deep dish pizza. I’ve never tried anything else here but just do be aware that their deep dish pizzas take a while to cook so if you’re impatient, this probably isn’t the place for you or maybe consider ordering something else. I personally don’t mind waiting for the delicious deep dish pizza that they make. I highly recommend checking the place out.

Wow! Came here with fiancée after calling in the last 15 minutes before the restaurant closed to order a calzone and we nearly died at the $ 13 price! But let me reassure you all, once we picked it up and saw how huge it was, we were soooo grateful! That calzone was rockin’! It had mushrooms, sausage, spinach and cheese everywhere! I cut it up and dipped it in the marinara sauce it came in and we were sooooo pleased! You must try it! It’s so large and more than enough for two! Three could eat on this but we are greedy, ha ha!

Five stars because I consider myself to know pizza and they do it just like I eat it back home in Chicago on Friday nights. Thin sliced and well done every time and I’m always satisfied. They’re strawberry walnut salad is my favorite to get before hand too. I’m not a fan of balsamic but this salad makes me love it. I also love their calzones. We don’t live close to Olde Town but when we are on that side of town we either stop in for a pie or pick one up to take home.

Dining at Olde Town Pizzeria was a nice experience. I tried the Garlic Rolls, Strawberry Walnut Salad, and Olde Town Deep Dish Pizza. The Garlic Rolls were freshly made, soft, and buttery. The Strawberry Walnut Salad was fantastic with crispy lettuce, shredded cheese, and a lightly sweet and crunchy walnut strawberry dressing. It wouldn’t surprise me if people visited the restaurant specifically for the salad. The Olde Town Deep Dish Pizza was stuffed with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and smoked crumbled bacon. This pizza was delicious with a soft but crispy crust, mouthwatering red sauce, melty cheese, and flavorful meats.

Veggie pizza devoid of sauce. Garlic rolls devoid of garlic. Pizza crust devoid of texture/flavor. Wallet devoid of a fair amount of cash for this experience. Walnut strawberry salad liked by wife — only save to the meal. Pass. Cappy’s smokes it hands down.

Very good pizza, especially the deep dish. Fresh tasting tomato sauce and buttery, crispy crust. My wife loves the strawberry salad. It’d be better if they carried Coke products, but you can’t have everything.

One of my favorite pizza places in the Tampa Bay area. The thin crust pizza with a lot of cheese, minimal sauce, and plenty of Italian Sausage reminds me of what I grew up with in the Midwest. Great! Not a deep-dish guy(love it but don’t want to sweat the extra cardio) so I can’t comment on that. The Strawberry Walnut Salad is very unique and a good start. The Garlic Rolls were piping hot and fabulous. Our service was very attentive on a late Sunday afternoon. Beer and wine, and we could watch the NFL game overhead. Confession: I should have eaten fewer pieces of pizza and taken more home, but it’s soooo goood!

This place is much better than your normal pizza joint. I have had it at its best but sometimes the service isn’t great. For example on this past visit our waitress was to busy eating her dinner and didn’t have the time to take care of us. Food is good, I recommend their strawberry salad, it’s always good. The small is big enough for 2. I have also had the corn nuggets and pizza rolls, both are yummy. I don’t recommend the the deep dish, it’s very gluttonous and hard to eat… the thin crust pizza are delicious especially the BBQ Chicken one is yummy. The Chicken Bacon Ranch is equally yummy.
