Food was delicious, service was top notch and Eric the bartender knows his stuff, highly recommend going here

This was one of the worst meals I ever eaten. I have never been anywhere where the French Onion Soup was inedible. Then after a terrible meal where we were cordial and tipped the customary 20% despite the poor food and service. The joy was where they kept us hostage causing us to miss the shuttle we had requested. I never write reviews but felt I had to warn all to avoid this dump.

This is the worst expensive meal I have ever had. I took my family of 5 here on New Years Eve based on the reviews. We requested a table by the window(made reservations 60 days in advance), the manager told us he couldn’t do that as he had all the tables carefully planned, so we were seated in an uncomfortable booth. I understood planning the seating on a busy night so let it go, but noticed later one of the tables we wanted sat empty the entire time we were there. Salad was good. Appetizer was delicious but very odd that it needed to be shared, a weird choice by the chef(don’t recall what it was). We wanted to enjoy our meal(which I knew would be very expensive) so I asked our server to hold off on our main course after the appetizer and salad. He looked uncomfortable and a few minutes later the manager was at our table asking if he could put our main course in in 10 minutes rather than the 15 minutes we had requested as he had another seating coming. I thought it was ridiculous to speak to us over a 5 minute difference at this price level(keep in mind the restaurant was half empty) The main course was a Buffalo filet, mine was supposed to be medium rare but was overdone and tough. The grilled vegetables was actually cold, inexcusable for a $ 478 meal. All the main courses were just average,. At this point I was so disgusted all we could do was laugh and I just wanted to leave. We enjoy eating out as a family and know good food. Some of the reviews said this is a five star restaurant — it absolutely is not, and I don’t appreciate the misleading reviews as I based our decision to eat here on them. This place may be fine for drinks and appetizers but it is not capable of fine dining.

We dined here for Christmas Eve dinner. We we’re a party of 8 adults and 1 child. The service was on point. The manager was attentive and the server was as well. The location is very nice. While we we’re there at night the view during the day would be beautiful as you are up in the mountain overlooking Breckenridge. Good winelist and small but well designed menu. The only hiccup was the fact that two of us ordered the chicken dish which came out nearly 30 minutes after the rest of our party had received their entrée’s and eaten. I noticed that a table next to ours had the same problem. The dishes were comped which was very nice of the management to do. I would return if I were in Breckenridge again.

a five star restaurant with top quality service in an amazing lodge overlooking Breckenridge with a menu to die for and a top shelf list of spirits for less $$ than you’d expect! it is fantastic and the Manager Chris is a fantastic host. He came by our table and spoke to us about his favorite wines, the locally produced and made some incredible suggestions on the menu. We had the scallops and risotto, Brussel spouts, steak. All some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Delicious port for dessert. a highly recommended!

The happy hour appetizers and drinks are among the best in Breck, and could be the best value in Breck as well. Go soon because I can’t believe they can continue to serve such great food in good portions at such prices.

Food was excellent, however service was slow. Only one waiter for all the tables. Had to flag him down to get a refill. He didn’t bother to ask my friend if she wanted a refill. Need more staffing for sure. Otherwise food and the view were wonderful.

Certainly one of the best views on the area. Amazing deck for anytime of the year. Great beer and wine selection. Happy hour is spectacular with a delectable wine and cheese platter. I have dined several times and each time the cuisine was perfect. This place is a gem and I love the off beat location. It is a true mountain paradise and you will enjoy the experience.

Beautiful view, probably the best chicken I have ever had… not great service, pretty sure the waiter was stoned.

Lovely place overlooking Breckenridge and the slopes with a simply spectacular view. Would love to eat and have drinks on the patio during the summer months. Really enjoyed the food and friendly service. Elk and lamb were hits. Call ahead and their free shuttle will pick you up in town, which was a great service since we had no car.

My parents and I are in town and we needed a nice dinner tonight(really, to make up for the Cup of Soup we had last night in our condo). We asked around and honestly the restaurant we really wanted to go to didn’t have an opening until 9.30 tonight. I saw this restaurant and they had an opening so we went for it. If you are staying in town you definitely will need to drive there. I guess you could walk if your adventurous. I guess I would really give the place 3.5 stars. We made reservations for 6.30 and got there a little after 6. We were seated promptly and then the wait began. We waited. We waited. We waited. I think it was almost an hour until our food arrived… My dad had the filet. He said it was a good size, but half of it was tough and dry. Mom had a garden salad which she liked a lot. I had the Pigs & Pineapple, the tapas plate of scallops and some fries.(I know… Weird combination). All were good. The scallops were the best I’ve had in a long time. Dessert was ricotta cheesecake with cherries compote. We just had soda, iced tea & water. No alcohol. Bill total was $ 93. All in all, it was good… Just really slow.

I came back for my birthday dinner and it was incredible! I ordered the Bison Short Ribs and it was the best meal I’ve had in a very long time. The meat was so tender it could fall right off the perfect bones. I mean there wasn’t any conversation during that dish: just savoring, sensing, and preparing the next morsel. After cleaning my plate bare, I moved on to dessert. To close an excellent meal on my birthday, I went with a snifter of Grand Marnier to accompany the Grand Marnier Crème Brulee which was like an orange creamy lake just below the ice of carmelized glaze. Buddha was satiated!

Great waitress. Great elk steak. Great bison short ribs. Great wild boar pops. I thought the scallop appetizer with deviled eggs were well concocted and full of flavor. We also enjoyed a grand marnier crème brûlée and a lemon custard. SInce we were dining at night, the view wasn’t as breathtaking as it was advertised. You car’s GPS will not work on the way up the mountain to the resort. Be careful not to get stuck on the route to the restaurant. Enjoy the bar area.

We ate here for the first time tonight. The food was amazing. The elk strip steak and herb chicken were amazing. The elk is juicy and tasty. The crème brûlée is sweet. We recommend this place to everyone.

They have only been open 2 weeks. Fine dining and the best view in Breckenridge. Came for Christmas dinner and is served buffet style for tonight. Amazing food and the service is great. The resort has a shuttle that will pick you up in town and bring you and take you back. It is further out of town then main street restaurants but is worth it. Would not recommend trying to walk due to the hills. Highly recommend a reservation.
