Server was very nice, food was so-so. Tables are certainly on top of each other. If you want somewhere to grab a casual basic breakfast, it’s fine. I’d go again.

Green Eggs is the best local breakfast/brunch place. It’s usually packed, with a line. And that’s for good reason. Green Eggs may be one of the best of its kind in all of Southern New England. If you sit on the bar stools, watch the food as it’s sizzling. You also see the amount of energy and care that goes into every single dish. The food is great. The portions are huge and the people are awesome.

Great breakfast place with a character. Went here with my daughter. She had chocolate chip pancakes that were made fresh in front of us. These were very good. My eggs and home fries were just right

Great service. Wonderful attitudes. Food can be cooked to order. Allow fruit as a side in place of taters and toast. Proof to not judge by the cover or outside.

A great spot for breakfast, I was very surprised given Bristol food is not the best and Portsmouth food is gross. dunkin donuts can suck it. Thanks for making my morning

Awesome breakfast. Fresh, well cooked meals and friendly service. Banana pancakes are out of this world. Recommend the hash as well. Been there a dozen times… never once left unsatisfied.

Wow. Anyone opening a restaurant in Rhode Island needs to come here first to see how it’s done. GE rivals the best breakfast eateries in NYC. Fresh ingredients, attention to detail, pride in the food, good service, healthy and imaginative dishes all abound. The only time I had a mediocre(service) experience was simply because the staff was so overwhelmed by the huge weekend crowd. Go and thank Sue, Poppy and staff for providing a well needed service in Rhode Island.

Amazing breakfast. Everything is delicious, prepared with meticulous care and garnishments. You may have to wait on weekend morning, but with the wait!

I’ve been coming here since Susie opened. Great place to meet up with friends. The breakfasts are terrific. There are new specials every week. Creative and yummy plated food. I love watching her work that grill and keep everything moving. Locals all love Susie’s humor. It’s a pleasure to sit and people watch too.:)

Breakfast food is my favorite food, and this might just be my favorite breakfast place. I just started working a new job in Bristol four weeks ago, and I’ve already eaten at Green Eggs five times! I’m so glad someone recommended it to me. It’s tucked away in a little shopping plaza and I passed by it a million times before somebody pointed it out to me, but now I’m hooked. I’ve been here on my own, with a large group, and with just a couple of people. Every time has been a good experience for everyone! If you’re by yourself or with just another person, I totally recommend sitting at the counter by the open kitchen — you get a great show. The ladies working here are awesome and they keep the food flying. My boyfriend says it’s better than watching a cooking show on TV! The menu is pretty diverse with a little bit of everything and plenty of choices for the vegetarians(like me). I’ve had the Sailor Boy(eggs and cheese, raisin toast, and pancakes), the black bean fritter special(to die for, topped with egg and avocado, great if you’re really hungry), an egg scramble(with super fresh veggies), a simple egg sandwich(comes with homefries, yay), and a veggie omelet. They have the best veggie omelet ever — they put EVERY vegetable in it. When my boyfriend got one it included artichoke hearts and asparagus — score! The portions are big. If I go here when I’m starving, I can clear the plate. They do have lighter options, too. The fruit parfait looks really pretty and there are several egg white omelets on the menu. Like everyone says, it’s cash only, so come prepared. The prices are very reasonable, better than some other places in town that I could name. It gets very busy on the weekend but they keep the food moving fast. It’s a very friendly joint where the owner treats everyone like family and knows the regulars by name. I expect that I will be a regular here too for many years to come!

Great food and great service. Went there with my significant other and it was amazing. The place was packed but considering the number of people the service was fast. Waitresses walk around with coffee so often that your mug is never empty. It was CASHONLY, but at the same time there are a lot of good breakfast places that are like that. There are multiple signs alerting people to this fact, and there is an ATM right in the same plaza. Wait staff was very pleasant and seemed to genuinely care about the guests. When the waitress came to take our order she not only listened to what we wanted, but also recited it back to us that way there are no mistakes in the order which I thought was extremely helpful, not a lot of places do this. The waitresses also checked back to make sure that everything was all set with our meals as any good waiter/waitress should. Both myself and my significant other ordered omelets. I had mine with Bacon, Spinach and Ham(Because who can go to a place named green eggs and not get ham?!) The eggs were fluffy, and the portions were huge. Bacon was nice and crispy and ham was cooked perfectly. Spinach was cooked but not overcooked which is something that I really enjoyed. It was served with home fries and a side of toast. The overall plate was also beautiful, it was garnished with some field greens as well as fresh fruit which I thought was a very nice touch. I think I just found my new favorite breakfast place!

My boyfriend and I love Green Eggs! We go here all the time, it has a great(and hilarious) menu with a great array of options. The only thing I would change is that there was more space, I tend to feel very overcrowded in there. However, that won’t hold me back from definitely going back there again!

So good and so much food! My husband and I don’t go out to breakfast very often, but since it was the last day of «holiday» eating and we were back to the diet the next day we decided to splurge. We wanted to go to a place we hadn’t tried before and chose Green Eggs based on the reviews of my fellow Unilocalers. You didn’t steer us wrong. First off, CASHONLY! There will be numerous signs saying this before you get to the table, so there isn’t any excuse for no cash. There is a Citizen’s Bank with an ATM conveniently located in the plaza. We went early on a Sunday morning to beat the crowd, so there was no problem getting a table, but it isn’t that large and I can see where the wait would be long during peak times. We both opted for omelets and shared an order of chourico hash. Get the chourico hash. It was delicious and delightfully spicy. Omelets are made with three eggs and my ham, cheddar and broccoli omelet was enormous. The ingredients were quality and there was no skimping on filling. It was delicious. Omelets are served with toast(I opted for rye) and red bliss potato home fries, which were also good. It wasn’t cheap, but for the quality and amount that we got, I have no complaints. The coffee was adequate. I prefer a bolder roast, but that’s just me. The waitress came around at least four times to keep our mugs filled to the top. Definitely worth a visit.

Overpriced mediocre diner fare. I was in the area for a appointment that I mistakenly showed up several hours early for, and decided to find some breakfast to kill some time. I had«Milly’s Choice» which looked perfect on paper if you are indecisive like me, because it included a pancake, sausage, egg, and bacon. In my opinion, the hallmark of any breakfast joint is their ability to cook eggs. This place can’t do it, my scrambled eggs were overcooked. The pancakes were unremarkable. Compared to similar diners in the PVD, this place is way overpriced too. The service is friendly though, but made me feel a little awkward for dining alone by immediately asking if anyone else would be joining me.

It seems that I rarely go out to breakfast these days– vacations being those times. Anyway my wife and I decided we’d try a local place to mix it up and hoped that we’d find something we’d like. We both ordered omelettes and I love it when a place gets creative. I tried the SchMiguel, which was a 3-egg omelette«stuffed with Italian Sausage, Mozzarella, and Mushrooms». First of all, I know of no 3 eggs large enough to cover the plate this extensively. Second, «stuffed» was an understatement. Additionally, these were high quality ingredients. We wanted to try the chourico hash and that was tasty and plentiful too. Sum it all up with great and attentive service and yes, I do want to come back for more, but I’m still a bit full from my first visit.

Stopped in here last Monday, 6⁄17 for a late breakfast with my partner. Small, simple, decent looking place. Kitchen is open to seating area, and thought the cook was nice. I ordered an omelet and my partner had the«everything» breakfast. We thought the food was average. The waitress was one of those that seemed like she was related to the owner and could have cared LESS about anyone. Very short, unfriendly and the like… Prices were HIGH for what we got… We’ll try another place next time…

The Family and I stopped in this Sunday Morning. First time here… The interior is bright and friendly and we are told to take any open table. I like getting to pick my seat… The kitchen is open and they are busy but very quite… It’s St. Paddies Day Morning & what do I see on the menu, Fresh Corned Beef Hash. I’m sold. We are offered coffee an juice right away, which is what I need fast, my morning coffee. :) The kids order Kid’s French Toast, and my daughter orders eggs, bacon, spuds, w/toast… The wife orders multigrain Waffle topped with fruit, I order the above Corned Beef Hash. Place was very busy so I expected a wait for food. Nope, very very fast food service . Hash was GREAT, so so fresh… Wife’s waffle was huge and looked so good with fresh fruit sliced on top. Both kids gave thumbs up on their meals. We were offered refills on coffee quickly and even got to meet the owner who asked us how our meal was. Very nice, you can see she cares about her customers. We will be back, I love, love breakfast…

I get to make it to Bristol and the East Bay every so often. This place by far has been my favorite breakfast I’ve had so far. Period. No questions asked. Our party came in smack in the middle of the breakfast rush and luckily, we were able to grab a table right away. Green Eggs is a bit cramped, especially when at capacity, but sit tight and wait for the food, it’s completely worth it! Servers were really nice and were johnny-on-the-spot with water and coffee refills. The artwork adorning the walls was a nice touch and every table seemed to have it’s own decorative center piece. All in all, a super chill place to come and get your morning grub on! All the food dishes are made to order. They have a diner setup going on behind the counter where they had two people manning the griddle and a few other folks at a table behind them concocting all dishes and getting them ready to head to their respective table. I had a nice view of it all and lemme tell you, this staff is a well oiled machine! Finally, on to the food. I went with a Sloppy Manny. 2 scrambled eggs with chorico, onions and cheese. Just reading that sounds good, right? Tasting it is even better. Super fresh, super tasty and of course, as many Bristolians know, chorico goes good on basically everything! I’m not one for a big breakfast, but I housed this plate! A must visit if you’re in the area and want to get some serious grub-on for breakfast! A few notes: It’s cash only, it’s only open until 1PM and there is usually a line, so expect to wait if you come on a Saturday or Sunday morning.
