Overpriced and bland… There area has a glut of Chinese restaurants and there are better ones… Their orange sauce is inconsistent… Sometimes it’s way too hot(heat no flavor) other times bland. The fried rice has none of that salty umami goodness that it should. Lastly the egg rolls are way too greasy.

Very rude staff. Ordered Kung Pao. It was loaded with soy sauce. Extremely salty. Charged extra for their mess up in the order. Will never go there again.

I“ve been going here for quite some time. Many times the food was good enough, though never better than your average mall chinese restaurant. Last week we arrived at 9:35 due to late church service. They had the Open sign on, and the door said they were open till 10PM. The front desk attendant has always been a rude and surly experience without so much as a smile, no matter how much you spend there. Point taken. You hate your job, and your customers. Ok. NOTED. Well, I kid you not less than 3 minutes after we ordered, the waitress dumped our food rather unceremoniously in front of us. It was impossible to cook it that fast. She did this rather rudely. I cracked wise… well, you want to get rid of us in a hurry eh… and she said«yes. It’s closing time.» My wife and I walked out at 9:56 after wolfing down our food so they could leave precisely at 10PM. But that customer service experience marks the end of my willingness to subsidize this ungrateful and rude establishment. When you are rushed out the door, despite the sign saying Open, and no one in the place can muster a smile, you have demonstrated that you don’t appreciate my patronage, and you surely won’t see any more of my business for your overpriced, and mediocre chinese food. The food is inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good, but bad customer service is the hallmark of this place, and I won’t be back.

I love Lin’s. The food is always good and it is very nice inside. The staff is attentive and the portions are large.

Love the egg rolls here and their steamed dumplings. They have the best and freshest lo mein in the area. We had recently ordered the lemon chicken and it was soggy and underdone. The manager was very apologetic and gave a credit to us which I truly appreciated. Although there are a lot of newer Asian restaurants in the area, this will always we a quick go to place for us when we’re in a rush to get something good for a decent price and great customer service.

The portions are good but the food is not that good. I have been here multiple times and on each occasion the service was AWFUL. The employees do not seem to know how to greet or talk to customers.

Food is awesome but the customer service is horrible! The woman at the front desk is extremely rude and even heard her answer a call and say I can barely hear you, call back and hung up on them.

Extremely bad customer service. Manager is very rude. Owner doesn’t even care. Never give out even Fork/Knifes/Napkins etc. with a carry out or delivery of the food.

I thought the food here was great! The kind and friendly staff is by far the best aspect of this restaurant.

From the outside of this restaurant it looks like it would be very casual inside and probably mainly a take out place. I was surprised when we entered and found a nice interior(better than average for Virginia Asian places in this neck of the woods). There was no hostess. There was a lady on the phone who did not look up or acknowledge us. We stood there for awhile and I contemplating suggesting we leave. A waitress noticed us and sat us in the dining area. The dining area is well decorated and clean. I like the horse sculpture wall in the back. Unfortunately, the food here was a big disappointed in quality. The cost was also higher than average for the area. I started with a small bowl of hot and sour soup. It was average. We ordered lo mein and lemongrass pork. The lo main was so salty we sent it back with a request for no salt. Another version came that was also salty. So we sent that back and got pork with broccoli. This dish looked bad and did not taste very good either. Low quality pork. The lemon grass pork was bbq pork with a few snow peas and lots of onions sitting in a pool of sauce that looked and tasted like soy sauce. No lemon grass taste. The pork was okay with some good pieces and other pieces that looked old. The rice that came with this was dried up and old.

This place is always on point! It opened when I was in high school, and I’ve been going there ever since. It’s as delicious as it’s always been! Seriously, everything is SOGOOD. But, if you don’t know what to get, I recommend the chicken lo mein, it’s my go to ;) oh! The edamame is awesome as well

The best Chinese I can find in the Manassas area, and its in Bristow. Go figure. Their wonton soup is very fresh, with a bit of extra pork pieces in it. The crispy noodles were very nice, and had some pleasantly good flavor. I did not feel skimped at all. I also got their chicken chow fun, and it was pleasantly good with flavor with a lot of chicken and overall tasted really good with excellent amount of sauce and it had an idea with it. I am knocking one star because I thought the chicken tasted very salty(odd), but maybe I just wasn’t used to the strong flavor that it carried, but overall I was impressed. I will definitely order from here again, because for the prices that they have, this place did a great job satisfying a chinese food craving that I’ve been looking for.

My family and I order takeout several times a month from Lin’s and it’s always good. I can’t recall ever having a bad meal. We usually order beef and broccoli, Kung Pao chicken, and General Tso’s chicken. We usually have one of the dishes tweaked slightly, so I’m fairly certain were getting it freshly made. The only complaint I have is in regards to the cashier. She’s not friendly and never smiles or says«thank you.» Fortunately the food is good so we continue to go back.

Lin’s now has online ordering & delivers to a 7 mile radius of the restaurant! I am picky with my food & wrote special instructions online & the server called me to ensure that my order was perfect. It arrived within 20 minutes(and I’m right at that 7 mile mark), piping hot & exactly how I wanted it! Currently stuffing my face with delicious food… Very happy!!!

Lins is just your typical Americanized Chinese place. AmChin I call them. When it first opened, it was better than it is now, but like all businesses, once it caught on the initial effort waned and they fell into step with the mundane. Why try when people will buy a so-so product. Anyway, my family always ate in, but we hadn’t been in a long time. But, I didn’t feel like cooking and we decided to get take out and that was a bad idea. We walked in, and that same poor sour puss girl was at the front. I have never seen her smile and she always looks pissed to even be there. We ordered and she said it would be 10 minutes. Hmm, that means it’s waiting in pots in the back pre-made. Well, we didn’t have to wait 10 minutes, it was out in 5. We got the stuff home and my husband and daughter were happy with their food, but mine was a different story. I like the Mongolian beef, which is a saucy beef dish with cooked onions. What I got was a few over cooked pieces of beef that they had scraped out of the bottom of a pot and, I would estimate, about 3 cups of raw onions. I had to hunt for the beef because, at first, I thought there were only onions in the plastic bowl. I picked out the beef and had to throw the mostly raw onions in a pan and sauté them before I could eat, which really isn’t the point of take out in my opinion. Needless to say, there are closer, just as mundane(but cheaper) AmChin places, so I won’t be going back to Lins.

It’s a Chinese restaurant in a strip mall. All those who are disappointed that they don’t serve fancy gourmet high-class fare are out of their ever-lovin minds. For a Chinese restaurant in a strip mall… Lin’s is great! It is the best in Bristow, and probably the best in a larger area too. I live in Manassas and Lin’s is my go-to for Chinese. They must use better ingredients than the competition. And yes, the interior is beautiful and well-kept. I dined in once. Food was great and served elegantly, but the service was a little awkward. We were the only table seated at the time, and the waiter just hovered in the corner, continually watching us eat. They do much better with take-out and delivery. I have no real complaints with the service… then again, I don’t make any special requests. Everything is pretty good. I like Hunan beef and drunken noodles. Fried rice is also of a good quality.
