Excellent food. I came here this morning for a breakfast sandwich and iced coffee. Sandwich was hot, toasty and gooey at the same time. Around or after 10:30 am, they start to get ready for lunch time. The servers are polite and fast. If you’re waiting for the bus or the train, this is the ideal spot to grab food to go.

They are fast with orders, they are nice and in winter time even if you don’t order they let you stay inside while you wait for the bus. It is a regular pizza place, food is ok.

This is not pizza. No taste. Don’t waste time or money. Asked the guy if the same owners operated here, he said yes, pizza was a lot better some years back. Not going to finish slice. Searching the area for better.

Had a very good slice here today, and a decent turkey sandwich. Halfway through combined them into a turkey slice. Delicious.

The pizza slice is average but the«chicken on a bun» is the gem of the Bronx. Ask for the J-Zone(off menu item) which is a Jalapeño stuffed cheese calzone! The atmosphere grows on you and soon you’ll know the regulars, including«Taxi Jerry» and the human honey badger. If you go often enough, you will make it to the«wall of fame» and get your photo on the wall.

FOOD: I’ve had the pizza here and the chicken parm. Both are reasonably underwhelming. The chicken parm is the better of the two, however. Their slices are extremely dry, and the ingredients are quite lackluster as a New York Pizza. This is the kind of «New York Pizza» you’d expect to get somewhere in the midwest, falling somewhere below Sbarro’s on the flavor spectrum. The slices are large, but at $ 2.75 each, the pricing represents them knowing they’re one of the only places to eat underneath the last stop of the #4 train moreso than anything else. Additionally, they keep pizza around all day, so if you happen to be the first customer in a while, don’t expect a fresh slice. The chicken parm is OK, at least the bread is not as dry as their pizza, but their sauce lacks kick. Chicken is OK, but again, way too pricey. Another issue is sanitation… there always seems to be a cat running around behind the counter and climbing on it sometimes. Plus the place overall is very dirty/dingy looking. Another issue is the drink selection. They only carry a handful of drink varieties(Pepsi, Sprite, etc.) — no Dr. Pepper, no Root Beer, no real variety. 1⁄5 SERVICE: Service is OK. They primarily speak Spanish, but all are fluent in English. Ask and you shall receive. If you want one of the specialty items(like chicken parm) it will take longer though, which should be expected. It does get points here for being open 24 hours though. 3⁄5 AMBIENCE: Again, very dingy. It’s not very clean in there, and with the cat running around, it’s a bit weird at times. If you get one of the tables near the front and it’s crowded, expect to have people standing right on top of you while you eat, and there’s not a lot of seating, so if it’s crowded you may have to share a table with a stranger. 1⁄5 PRICE/VALUE: As mentioned, the prices are extremely high for the quality of the product. $ 2.75 should get you a bona fide large slice of NY Style Pizza, but instead it gets you this dry, crusty, sometimes stale(depending on when you go) slice with a smattering of underwhelming tomato sauce and decent cheese on it. If you take the pizza out and order 2 slices, they fold both awkwardly into a bag in a way I’ve never seen an NY pizza place do before, rather than overlapping the slices on 2 plates to keep them flat and preserve the pizza. Thus when you open it, it’s bent already. 0⁄5 SUMMARY: I would really not recommend this place unless you are starving and have no other choice. Otherwise you’re better off waiting. 1⁄5

Stopped here on our way to Westchester. No complaints about the $ 2.50 mega-slice of cheese pizza. My expectations were low, but the pizza was delicious.

Decent tasting slice and big for $ 2.75. Get a bite before hitting the casino! Yeah, this place is a hole in the wall. A bit shabby looking. Some shady clientele wanders in and out during the later evening hours. Connected to a strange bar/club next door. Kind of a rapey looking crowd up here. It’s right off the last stop of the #4 train, and convenient to grab a slice before hitting the bus up to Empire City a few minutes away. Not cheap at $ 2.75 but the slice is huge and the crust is pretty good.

This is 2 star pizza– but extra star for unique location at the northern terminal of the EL train. Also, its open really late and maybe even 24 hours. My favorite part is they direct you into the nightclub next door to use the bathroom, and you do, and walk past the cast of charactersto the bathroom, and walk out– to little fanfare, save for the reconnaissance from the local concubines on the high stools ;)
