We are lucky enough to live nearby… The food here is wonderful, service is great — the restaurant will be busy. Locals and those who’ve heard about Fat Nat’s both come to enjoy the food. Eggs Benedict offerings, there are several, are wonderful; make your own omelettes are wonderful; the whole menu is great! Stop by and enjoy the great food!

We loved it. The Huevos Rancheroes Carnitas were fantastic with the homemade salsa. The eggs Benedict with avocado and bacon was great to. Very fun atmosphere and friendly service!

No wonder Nat’s so fat. Sorry if that«joke“‘s been done a million times. No I’m not. I came in and ate here stag, because once I got the idea of Eggs Benedict in my head, I was in the car too quickly to notify anyone. When you arrive, there’s a sign that instructs you add your name to a list. I did so, but was able to grab a seat immediately at the counter. My server was on his game and worked with a smile on his face and in his voice. There’s a difference ya know, he sounded genuinely very nice. Ordering the Bacon Avocado Benedict was a no-brainer for me. As was getting the hash browns(instead of home fries) for an extra $ 1. I got my own little teapot and water promptly, and got out some materials to start working as I waited. But before I knew it, and very much to my appetite’s content, my breakfast was ready. Check out the photos — this was a beautiful plate! The hollandaise was rich and silky, the hash browns were very crispy(ain’t nobody got time for hash tans), and the toppings were loaded on the toasted english muffin. At first bite, I found the«spicy avocado verde» to be almost a little too spicy, but then it was balanced and smoothed out by the hollandaise and egg yolks, that I eventually didn’t detect the heat as much, just the spectacular flavor. The service stayed strong through the whole meal(I almost licked the plate), even as I heard a «Thank you and happy new year!» as I headed out the door.

It is a shame that my review for Fat Nat’s Eggs has to be a negative one, but my experience there was one that I NEVER want to happen to anyone else. My boyfriend and I came into Fat Nat’s Eggs on a Sunday around 1 or 2pm. We expected the place to be busy based on the reviews I had personally read prior to coming into the place. Once we got inside, things were a bit confusing since we had never been there before. There wasn’t anyone to greet us or tell us where to proceed, so we stood by the front door trying to figure out if it we would seat ourselves or how the whole process works. A fellow customer finally told us we just go up to the table, and put our name on the list. We sat down in the chairs off to the side, and waited along with many other customers. Surprisingly, it took about 15 or 20 minutes to seat us even though it looked like the wait would be much longer. Once we sat down, we were given some time to look at the menu. Our waitress seemed very nice, and accommodated to the extra time we needed to look over everything since we had never been there before. I ended up ordering one of the omelets. The food took awhile to come out, but I didn’t mind too much since it was extremely busy that early afternoon. Right when our food came, I looked down at my plate and realized something wasn’t right. I asked my boyfriend, «Does this look like an omelet to you? Is this how they make their omelets?» I already knew the answer in my head of course, but I always like to get a second opinion. My boyfriend said, «That definitely isn’t an omelet, it’s an eggs benedict.» I was not happy. I understand that people can make minor mistakes on orders, but I am unsure as to how the waitress got«eggs benedict» out of «omelet.» I tried to get our waitress’s attention several times to take the order back and because she was so busy elsewhere, she did not notice me until about 20 minutes later. I told her my order was wrong and she said, «you got an eggs benedict right?» I said no, I said omelet. She apologized and went back to get more order correct. I did not want to hold it against her, but my correct order took a long time to come out, and my boyfriend had nearly finished his entire meal by the time she brought my omelet to me. On top of that, the meal was supposed to come with toast, and she did not bring any toast out with it. My boyfriend wasn’t in the best mood after the service we received, but he said he figured we would get some sort of discount for the mistake because that’s what most businesses tend to do if they’ve realized they got something incorrect. We remained in good spirits. The food itself was delicious. The omelet was very generous, and somehow, I magically finished it without boxing. The ingredients seemed fresh, and the omelet shell was nice and thin. The hash browns were a little on the salty side, but in terms of how golden and crispy they were, they were the best I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection. I tend to drink a lot of water with my meals and quickly finished my cup. My boyfriend had nearly finished his water too, so we waited for our waitress to come back around to fill our waters. We even put our waters near the edge of our table, so she would notice. My boyfriend went to the restroom after 20 minutes of waiting for water, and while he was gone, my eyes followed her like a hawk until she finally made eye contact with me. We waited for nearly 30 minutes just to get a refill on water. After I was completely done with my meal, she brought the tab out and my boyfriend was surprised and not in a good way. There was no discount of any kind on our meal. They even listed that there was toast with the meal, but that was not true. The waitress’s mistake was not accounted for, and we paid full price for our meals. Needless to say, my boyfriend did not give the best tip to her. She made several mistakes on top of not getting our order correct, and was not doing her job. I tried to be understanding, and I told my boyfriend there were a lot of customers, so she probably just got really busy and a little jumbled. He told me that the amount of customers shouldn’t matter because there were several waitresses, and that no matter what, she should’ve been doing her job. Overall, the quality of the food was to die for, but the service was the worst I have ever had, which affects my rating of the business. Our waitress was nice, but did not tend to our needs properly, and made several mistakes. I see many positive reviews for Fat Nat’s, but unfortunately our experience made us very irritated and impatient. I hope this does not happen to anyone else.

I’ve heard so much about Fat Nat’s from all of my friends that I had to give it a try for brunch. Atmosphere: I had no idea what to expect before walking in the door. This place is a total brunch dive. I felt like it should be in a movie. When you walk in, instead of talking to a host, you write your name on a sheet of paper with the size of your party. There were great vibes, everyone was happy, the cooks were singing and the servers seemed very happy. Food: I’m kinda weird and eggs benedict of freak me out, which is a bummer because everyone says they have killer benedicts! I ended up going with the club sandwich. The quality of meat on my sandwich was awesome. The ham was so thick and juicy and the bacon was crispy to perfection. I upgraded to the fries and I was happy that I did. Overall, the quality of the food is great. Next time I stop in, I’m going to go for the french toast!

While visiting my sister I decided to drop in here to refuel and it lived up to the reviews I have read! The service was amazing! The woman serving us was quick, but not hurried by any means. The coffee was delivered promptly and was hot and delicious. It’s fun to be in a place where you can see the kitchen staff working and people enjoying their work so I love the atmosphere! But more importantly the food was good! I got a fat nat slider and the only thing I can mention is the hollandaise sauce was a little too bland for me. I usually make mine with some cayenne pepper or some serious tang from a mustard and this was very plain. Everything under it was delicious though! Toast, eggs, ham and hash browns were all done perfectly! Now the food came out very quickly which most people would rave about, but it always worries me since I’m used to cooking from scratch and know how long it takes to make things. When food comes out quickly it just irks me, like how did you make that so quickly?! I would go back again and just try something without the hollandaise sauce!

Friend of a friend suggest I come try this place because it’s good. Well I must admit… it’s pretty darn good & great. Your classic breakfast with huge portions. Order the Fat Nats omelette and side of american potatoes and all I can say was wow.

Customer service is hit or miss, busy on sat and sun mornings. Food is average. We go often for breakfast. Reminds me of a truckers diner like Waffle House

Periodically a place is so tasty that I have to pause in my savoring to write a Unilocal review. Seriously, if you are anywhere near a Fat Nat’s, you need to go there for breakfast. Upon walking in, we were told to sit wherever, and a waitress promptly brought us menus and asked about drinks. As we looked over the menu, we could faintly hear some punk music coming from the kitchen, with a bass line that was enthusiastically punctuated by a cook dinging the bell on the counter. When our waitress returned with coffee, we asked for recommendations, and ended up ordering both items she suggested: Fat Nat’s Slider and Huevos Rancheros con Papas Favorito. She went to put in our order, and Groove is in the Heart by Dee-Lite came on. I burst into an impromptu lip sync, and glanced over to see the cook totally singing along, using his kitchen utensils as drumsticks. He even busted out with, «Sing it, baby!» right on cue. You may think that my review is based solely on the entertainment, and while that’s been a pleasantly awesome part of it, the food is freakin’ *amazing*. The pork in my dish is roasted for 16 hours, making it pull apart beautifully. The flavor… let’s just say I’m going to be dreaming about this place after we return to Colorado. And now, back to food. :) Addendum: Our waitress was super awesome as well, both attentive and knowledgable, with the added bonus of having lived in CO for six years. Love it!

Greasy spoon. It was awful. Haven’t dared to try it a second time. Breakfast place shouldn’t stink, should smell yummy. Service… well maybe they were having a bad day. Unlucky us.

The food is so good I want to eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Service is fast and good and servings are huge! Everything is made fresh and tastes divine. I took some home on the road trip back to Nebraska and I was still eating it cold – and I kid you not it’s still gooood

I know that there are people who live and die by Fat Nat’s food, but that’s not what got me. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good. There just wasn’t anything extraordinary about it. The real treat here is the service. Our first server had to run out before she could serve us, but on her way out, she stopped back and thanked us for coming in and apologized for needing to leave. Our second server was just as pleasant. It was nice to see such a friendly group of people so early in the morning. We got three huge breakfasts for ~$ 35. Delivered to the table within 20 minutes of initially taking our seat. Spectacular. I can’t wait to go back.

Wow!!! Fat Nat’s = incredible Old school breakfast … I had 2 eggs bacon hash browns which were perfect. My buddy had steak and eggs and was over the top happy. Place is not much to look at, but who cares… It’s breakfast and they do it as well as anyone, probably better!

Excellent joint. We had breakfast here. My daughter had blueberry pancakes and I had the green chilli eggs. Food is good, the green chilli was pretty good. The joint itself it’s pretty electic. Not your usual generic diner. The bunch of golf paraphernalia tells a story. The ongoing bluesy music tells another story about the owners. The wait staff is pretty good too… kept my coffee refilled all the time!

Fat Nats, you’ve done it again! Another location, and another 5 star fuck yeah get your asses in here and eat some god damn food review! Which I’m probably missing punctuation in that sentence but to hell with it. Stopped by around 9’ish on Sunday with the better half and her friend, and there’s a wait. Get there a little early and get your name on the list. Make sure your WHOLEPARTY arrives, or you’re not getting seated. Fat Nats rule here, you’ll get skipped over. Anyway, get seated, and like I expect, service is top notch throughout. Coffee cup never goes empty, water is refilled as it gets sucked down. Even when a side of toast was«missed»(I say that, because the cook who came out to help deliver our mass of food said it got sent out with another order before ours) the cook asked what type, went back, made it quick and brought it with an apology for the wait of 35 seconds. Lets dig into the review, and my apology for no pictures. I went with the Jacob omelet. 3 eggs, carnitas, black beans, salsa verde, pepper jack and topped with homemade salsa. The carnitas inside was god damn perfect. Perfect fall apart beef that was loaded with spicy flavor. Omelet was closed up perfectly around it all, the pepperjack cheese was salty yet spicy and was gooed up all inside this tube of fantasticness. Beans weren’t mushy but cooked properly to give a little extra texture, and the salsa… oh the salsa. Green inside and red outside, works so well together it’s not funny, it just fucking amazing. It’s a spicy omelet that will definitely clear some sinus and test the boundaries of your relationship with how awful the gas is you’ll get from it. But, it’s all worth it! Just don’t ask your significant other if it is. Blue berry pancakes were again, flawless. Perfect huge cakes, not doughy, great texture, big whole blue berries that burst with flavor(alliteration there haha!). Ashley again went with the Mom’s english muffin covered in eggs, ham and cheese with some raspberry fritter french toast… which was all flawless again. Her friend went with the apple cinnamon fritter french toast, some side eggs and toast and loved every bite of it it. One of those things that brings a tear to my eye when you can have a perfect breakfast at the same place, just in different locations.

Wow!!! The food here was fantastic! Had the Fat Nats Supremo! Amazingly good. Service was good, and thoughtful, the coffee was decent, the establishment clean. The prices were reasonable. Make sure you venture off of the traditional menu items. Fat Nat’s Green Chili Verde is AMAZING!

Seriously? How cute, how good, how amazing is Fat Nat’s Eggs? I am a tough breakfast gal. I don’t like many sit down breakfast places, so to find a place that cooks my eggs the way I like(Over medium, it’s very hard for some folks!) is really hard. The service was great. OJ was good. I loved the hash browns! The only thing I didn’t love about FNE was that I couldn’t sub anything. So no bacon instead of sausage or the like. Be prepared for that. DO have a pancake, they were delicious, and the eggs Benedict was perfection. Do yourself a favor, go in, be blown over by the good service, delicious smells and savor it for a while.

Greasy spoon of the burbs! My go to spot for quick, basic, breakfast food in the neighborhood. Thumbs up: –reliable, consistent –decent c.s. –you get what you pay for –it is what it is/what you get is what you see Thumbs down: –nothing fancy –long wait on weekends and holidays
