So walked in and immediately was welcomed! Asked if we could watch the basketball game and they said no problem & turned it on for us. Our Bartenders Soso and David whipped up some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time! I didn’t know what I wanted so Soso asked what kind of drinks I enjoyed he asked sweet? Citrusy? I said yeah both, A nice balance. He goes ok no problem and made a cocktail that tasted something like an Italian ice, soooooooooo delicious! I was just sad I was driving and could only have one! My friend asked for Johnny Black which they served and then took it back only to whip something even better up out of it!!! If you are looking for awesome cocktails and bartenders or should I say mixologists that FAR exceed your expectations I can only recommend coming here! And Definitely ask for Soso or David!!! And btw the calamari was delicious!!! Perfected to snack on while drinking the cocktails! Can’t wait to come back!!!

I give the location(quiet & cozy) 1 star but aside from that my, the dish was terrible! My shrimp were raw and my fish had a strong concerning odor. I tell my server I can’t have it, to simply take it away(I didn’t complain — was just not going to eat it) he asked repeated why I won’t eat. I explained the issue and he just leaves. Truly terrible customer service/food quality. My first Unilocal review– driven by the need to give a warning !

7 Old Fulton is a total tourist fly trap, but I’m inclined to leave a kind review. Bear in mind that we were here under very specific circumstances: namely, taking refuge from a rainstorm after our walking tour of the Brooklyn Bridge wrapped up on a random Wednesday night. Most New Yorkers were happily ensconced at home, many watching the Mets get spanked by the Royals. We were welcomed into this rather quirky, old-fashioned-looking restaurant with seasonal decorations by an ambiguously accented lady. Her husband sat in the back, engrossed in restaurant business, and a smattering of staff was in various staged of closing up. I was surprised they even received us at this dead hour. 7OF clearly does most of its business during sunny hours conducive to tourism. We mostly wanted a drink, and the friendly proprietor poured us glasses of totally decent wine. We also ordered a couple plates of caprese to snack on, which also emerged pretty quickly from the kitchen. They switched from some broadcast channel movie of the week to the Mets game at our request and we enjoyed a nice hour or so with our drinks. I’m sure a lot of the flack here reflects daytime disappointments, but as long as you set your expectations right, I can’t see this joint ruining your day.

I had a great plate of pasta, linguini with shrimp, and a glass of Pinot Grigio. The former was delicious, good, old fashioned Italian. The restaurant is just that. Old fashioned Italian restaurant and wine bar. I hate to say as a wine bar they are sadly lacking — but I’d come again for the pasta.

I enjoyed 7 Old Fulton, the food was good and was reasonably priced. I had a hanger steak and fries for $ 25 dollars, beer selection was limited but there were decent options. It was indeed busy with tourists and the décor was amusing but the staff were friendly, the space was nice enough and again the food was good value for money. There are«better» places down at the River Café, Julianas, etc. but that has nothing to do with 7 Old Fulton. And this place gets an extra star because of how seemingly despised it is by Brooklyn ‘locals’. If it’s not a gluten-free pizza made in an original brick over from Del Monicos it’s not worth of a decent review. I’m glad this place exists because it pissed off so many brooklyn reviewers and will make sure to return! Sorry Julianas!

This place is only horrible and over priced. Had a $ 13.00 order of over cooked calamari that was as tender as shoe leather. And a fettuccini that a Russian grandmother would be proud of. The ceasar salad with chicken cost as much as a main course at $ 19.00. I blindly walked into here. Every one do your self a favor and never come here. Never…

While my wife and our guests had a fabulous time here for our wedding reception, it was definitely not due to the waitstaff. They attempted to rush us, up sell us, and hurry us off at all points of contact. They were incredibly rude, and had on numerous occasions bumped into us without any apology. They even had forgotten our reservation, which they had just called to confirm two days prior. Thankfully my friend was dropping off the cake, otherwise nothing would have been ready. If not for the location(right under the Brooklyn bridge) and the yummy(though over priced) food, it would have received no stars at all. Definitely will not be going back there and I would not recommend it to anyone.

DONOTEATTHERE, NOTHEREEATTHERE, ONLYATTRACTUNKNOWNTOURISTSEVENTHELOCALSWOULDNOTGOTHERE, THEYWOULDHAVEPIZZANEXTDOOR and THEYHAVE A LINETHEREWAITING. Last night, My partner, Timmy and I ate here. Throughout the whole night. he was Tossing and Turning all night after what seems to Normal dinner. I had mussels and Clams. Timmy on the other hand, had Spaghetti and meatball, The service was bad. The tap water came in room temperature. I had to ask for ice and the waiter did not know whom/where to obtain them. After seeing her run back and forth the reatuatuant twice. she finally brought us a glass of ice. They were cheap on the bread and butter as well == We had to ask again. The place was very inattentive. Timmy got sick from the spaghetti all night, I had a feeling it was either the meatballs that look processed since you can cut it like butter OR the gradated cheese they gave him from a canister and not freshly gradated by hand. I called 311 and filed a report 4:35AM == DONOTEATTHERE. I should have seen the sign since the place was empty to begin with and all the other place were crowded and people waiting in line. There was an old man and a young lady who were wearing RED t– shirts. I asked one of the waiters who it was, he old me that he is a waiter. First of all, He was on the phone carrying on for the duration of our stay, Why would any establishment would let their waiter eat and talk in public on his cell phone in view of the public. Also his female companion seems like she was running the restaurant. She was running around changing the climate control in the restaurant and helping our waiter our bill. Their staffs are unequipped and were not giving the necessary training /tool to run this place. This place is a F===ing joke and so is the owner.

Don’t go here. Second time here. Bad experience. Surely if a staff member has a hygiene issue as a boss you should feel compelled to not only HELP this individual but also be concerned with your customers comfort. A simple pasta dish ruined. The only good thing I experienced was the bread and my glass of wine. I was turned off from this one individual walking pass everyone and they didn’t even flinch. Wasted time, money and food.

Been to this restaurant twice. The first time, I ordered a pasta dish that included broccoli, sausage, and beans and explicitly asked that the beans not be included in the dish. It came out with beans but without sausage and I had to ask them to remake the dish. When it came out a second time it was made correctly and tasty. Mistakes happen. Went back a second time and ordered the same dish with the same instruction. This time, instead of broccoli, they made it with broccoli rabe. We called them out on the switch, and at first the owner/manager tried to deny that there was anything wrong. When we told them we understood the difference between broccoli and broccoli rabe, she tried to apologize and admitted they were out of broccoli, but then she said broccoli rabe was better anyway. Please don’t tell me what my food preferences should be. The sausage also contained lots of hard bits that were inedible. Won’t be going here again. Plenty of other great options in the Dumbo area.

2 stars because the waitress was friendly, otherwise it absolutely warrants a 1 star. Food so bad I thought I was getting Punk’d. I mean seriously. I was wondering why it was empty. Now, I know.

Surviving by tourist trade only — anywhere else this would die. The Prosciutto sandwich had ham, the roast pepper was cold straight out of the fridge. The linguine was so al dente it was almost uncooked. The mussels didn’t come with bred for the sauce. The burger was ok and the mussels were good. The chips with the burger and sandwiches was the worst we’d ever tasted. The waitress barely understood English. Best thing was the beer and the venue was cute.

Service was great and that’s about it Wait on line at Juliana’s or grimaldis don’t settle Had the crab cake for $ 11 and change… I was served a Gordons crab cake or something that was bought at Costco Grilled chicken Caesar was mediocre at best Dressing was good chicken was dry and flavor less The other folks in my party felt the same. Bill for 4.3 salads one pasta dish 1 glass of wine and 2 sodas was $ 100 Don’t waste your time or money 2 stars was for service only

Stopped in to heat up from the cold so not sure how fair of a review I can give considering I didn’t take advantage of the full service from the restaurant. Service was prompt and polite. Got a seat at the bar and order a draft(only 2 selections available). The restaurant is primarily Italian with a decent selection of wines. Very ornate and a great place to to get a bite to eat after walking around the park.
