First time« Unilocaler» over here– had to save it for something great. Beny’s is wonderful. The croissants are the closest thing to France I can find and the coffee is always fresh. Not to mention everyone I’ve ever encountered working there has been so friendly– even if there are a few people in line. Totally worth every penny. Was walking around and stopped in just as they we’re about to close and the barista gave us some free pastries to try with our order. Great gesture– and now I’m hooked. Hope they don’t go anywhere!

The chocolate croissant is flaky in the right places and doughy in the right places. The chocolate is beautifully lumped in.

I come in here atleast 2 – 3 times a week for coffee and a snack on my way to work. The quiche here is probably one of the best ive ever had, everythings baked fresh and the staff is great!

Cute little neighborhood bakery/coffee shop. Food is pretty good. Coffee is good to decent. Staff are very cool and accommodating. Would return if in the area, but wouldn’t make a special trip.

This place was so small that they only had counter seat, no regular sit-down type of table. Their selection was not huge either. Fruit tart, soup/sandwich and some coffee drink were all they have. We were being attracted by the fruit tart instantaneously so went with the mixed berry fruit tart. The crust was very crunchy while the inside lemon custard was a bit too sweet — actually a good combo with the sour berry. However the strawberry that they used was frozen as opposed to fresh, disappointed! Cards were only accepted for 20 dollar minimum.

Awesome pastries, good coffee, friendly service — Beny’s Delice is my go to whether for a quick latte on the go or a mellow afternoon enjoying hot/iced drinks and snacking on one of their french pastries. The best part is that their menu is so varied for such a tiny place and their service is always courteous and friendly. Note — they recently moved to Fulton Street which I’m glad about because although they are a little further away from me, more of the world needs to see what Beny’s has to offer!

I love the food, but they can’t get my freaking order right. 50% of the time when I ask for a chocolate almond croissant, I get the wrong thing. Over and over. Different staff. It might be a chocolate croissant. It might be a regular croissant. It might be an almond croissant. It sure as hell isn’t what I ordered, and I don’t discover until I’m home.

This is my favorite place in NYC to get a croissant. They also make a great almond croissant. Loads of places make stodgy almond croissants, not benys.

This place. it looks cute and it’s the best in the area so it gets business. But the food is super bland. The quiche is. meh(and never warmed up enough). The cakes are meh. The chocolate croissant is meh. The customer service is kind of volatile. 75% WEIRD(not in a good way) and 25% nice. The only thing I ever got here that I would ever come back for… the white little $ 2 macaroon(not sure if it was vanilla or coconut).

This is my go to coffee spot in the area. I love their soy lattes and criossants! I highly recommend any of the quiches as well as the duck salad. The staff is always pleasant and prompt. Make sure you bring cash since they don’t take cards.

Beny’s Delice is a great spot for coffee, sandwiches and Viennoiserie. I love that they roast La Colombe, since it’s my favorite brand! While the pastries are a bit expensive, the coffee is very reasonably priced.($ 1.25 for a small coffee.) The décor is very hip, and the customer service is just what is should be – friendly, quick and to the point. Best place for coffee on the Fulton Street drag. Also, the bakery wafts the smell of melted chocolate down the street, which is worth at least one extra star.

A little pricey. Tried two different chocolate desserts and was not wowed. I have a sweet tooth and if something doesn’t make me feel like slapping my mama then I am not impressed. Will not return because i could get a good sugar fix for less elsewhere.

In my youth, i spent allot of time in Clinton Hill and i never once heard the phrase«I’m going to the cute little french coffee shop around the way». Wren i heard it recently, that cute little coffee shop turned out to be Beny’s Delice. Ten plus years ago, finding a place like Beny’s on this stretch of Fulton street was the equivalent to finding a unicorn walking in central park. You may expect magic, but when you get closer, delve deeper, and focus on the details, you realize the magic isn’t there. Someone tied a horn around the horses head — It just wasn’t right, and that’s how i would describe Beny’s. Beny’s is, in fact, a cute little coffee shop around the way. That’s a perfect description of a place with a decent selection of hot and iced caffeinated beverages and a wide selection of pastries that has the competition beat hands down. But, as you dig deeper and you see the strings, the little problems that take away from the magic. The coffee is good, but not as good as competition nearby. The sandwiches, again, good, but mainly bread with little filling. Good flavor, but not much in the way of substance. Ten year ago, Beny’s would have been a unique addition, but today, it’s just the little place around the way. Good for a quick cup of coffee and a tasty sugary sweet.

This is a review of the customer service or rather lack thereof. I came to Beny’s because Le Petit Bakery on Mrytle Ave was already closed and the reviews were good. When I came in the guy behind the counter was finishing with a customer and instead of saying, «hello» or «I’ll be right with you» anything like that at all, he walked over to his phone and began texting when he was done. I waited and when he was finished still nothing. We were the only two people there and still no acknowledgement that he had a customer at all. I decided to leave without the tarts I intended to buy. Acknowledging a customer should go without saying– it doesn’t take long to say hello, smile or be polite. I’ll just wake up a bit earlier in the morning and go to Le Petit.

When I visited I was greeted by very friendly staff. My iced latte was perfect. This place is in a good location for me and it’s adorable inside. I will be going back to try some of the edibles.

Lovely mini quiches! Fantastic coffee! Lovely bread pudding! The café is cute. There are bar stools along the wall with wall lined shelves to eat off of. It’s more of a spot to grab and go rather than stay in and eat. Quaint and trendy. They have lovely pastries and savory sandwhiches also. The quiches are probably the best things here. If it wasnt for the shotty customer service, this place would have gotten 5 stars from me.
