Waitress puts down the menu, let’s me order drinks,(a 12 dollar bourbon and a 6 dollar beer) she brings the drinks and as I then order a much anticipated pizza. «Sorry, the pizza oven is not working today, we don’t have pizza, hahaha» «But we do have an assortment of exactly 4 sandwiches you can choose from» O, and also: The sign outside says ‘We are open, full menu all day” or something inspiring. Un-believeable.

Sucks, no more pull apart bread or spiked hot cider. Apparently it went with the last chef. I gave the Nonna’s bread pudding a try and it was pretty much bland wet bread.

Gorgeous interior with a working fireplace in the winter and a docked sailboat and large patio for the summer– been here three times now and have always had good service and food.

Food is really good with a great price point. We had dinner here yesterday and i was impressed. We had the Farinata, which is like a vegan pizza(chickpeas) and i had the burger with mozarella cheese. Next time i will try some italian dishes.

Love love love! Get the burger on the dinner menu. It’s legit the best burger you’ll have in your life! This place is so cute in the summer as it has a beachy feel to it and in the winter you can sit inside. Drinks are great. Also the servers are very attentive. We ordered the apple pastry desert which was good but I wished would have had ice cream with it. We told the server and he said he would suggest it to the chef and take it off our bill. Love that! If you’re ever in the area definitely a must.

Great hot spot in Wiiliamsburg Brooklyn. I stopped by to check out Erykah Badu DJ and play classics! I will return. I plan to DJ there one day soon!

Great for private event. Hosted my 30th birthday here with help of Colleen and Diviera event staff. I showed up early and the private back room was decked out with fairy lights, three long tables set up for 30 guests to enjoy a three course prix-fixe sit down dinner. Colleen had asked me for dinner menu preference and any other requests I had for the evening and planned everything. We had a private bar, my friend DJ’d, the service was excellent, the food was great. They paced us at a really leisurely meal with calamari, salad, steak, with wine and drinks non-stop, and I didn’t have to ask for anything — Colleen and staff anticipated every need. After dinner, they promptly cleared out long tables, dimmed the lights, put on the disco ball, and the dancing ensued. The space is really pretty and people felt at ease to either dance, shmooze at the bar, or sit outside. We were in great hands the entire evening — the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful or attentive. Beautiful space, great food, lovely evening. If you have a party this is definitely the place to host it!

A great space in Williamsburg with candlelit, indoor dining that opens into an enclosed greenhouse adorned with all kinds of seating welcoming groups or just the two of you. Lots of foliage and plenty of windows which invites you into a casual, yet intimate space. Not stuffy, yet classic Brooklyn-feels. A large ship is just chillin in the outside/backyard area along with some other fun decorations making the place seem like it could be a solid party spot. My friend mentioned she attended a birthday party here with strippers dancing on tables — SOLD. But a trendy, low-key atmosphere won’t justify a place for me unless food, service, and drink match. And here’s the fault that distracts from the cool vibes that Diviera Drive has: Only two beers on draft, one being on the hoppy side which I don’t like. Gourmet pizzas that, yes, taste good, but are overpriced — like every other NYC wood-oven pizza joint. And they only have one pizza oven so if you have a few people ordering pizzas at the same time, they won’t come out together, but they do warn you of this prior to ordering which is the right thing to do. But I’m kind of over the whole«our food is so good that you don’t need condiments and how dare you ask» vibe. If my friend wants a side of ranch(and if you have it somewhere in the back) please don’t make a fuss about it while pretending to be slightly taken aback that she asked. come off it… And finally, the mushroom ravioli, which would have been really well done if not for the medicinal taste of some ingredient that threw off the entire dish. I was looking forward to this dish the most but really was glad I was also sharing a pizza because I would’ve been very disappointed if I had just ordered this for my dinner. So what to think. Here we have a great space with decently well-done food, but there were a few bumps in the road regarding food execution. And then we have our very attentive server making sure our drinks were full and we were enjoying ourselves(and he easily could’ve been a male model, so that’s always an added bonus). I want to try this place again and see how I feel after giving it a second chance. Good thing is, the staff was really exceptional which is always appreciated. I think sampling the menu and maybe trying brunch or even coming here in warmer weather will win me over.

Went before summer disappeared and sat outside. I liked it a lot! The place is pretty huge, would be good for group drinks /parties. We had cocktails, a bottle of wine and some small plates. Wouldn’t recommend the antipasti as it comes all chopped up, but would definitely go for the pizza! All in all I’d go back for dinner, brunch or drinks.

Great outdoor seating, though it’s too bad smoking is allowed there. Even being gluten free I found some healthy options for a quick bite before leaving back home. Waitstaff very sweet. The space itself is a bit odd as at first I thought there were two or three businesses in the space. Take advantage of extended happy hour and the huge outdoor area!

Great for lunch. Cheap for the area, way more delicious than I expected, and a beautiful interior. I’m sold. We had the pollo and cubano sandwiches, plus fresh oj and grapefruit.

Best pizza we ever had! It was a menu special yesterday: Mushroom pizza with thyme and red onions, the crust was divine. We also had the small fried Calamari/octopi they make the perfect creamy garlic dipping sauce to go with it, it’s just magical, we’d eat the sauce by itself! Seriously, fireworks and parties in our mouths. Came here as a back-up plan with my boyfriend after getting to the Flea market super late, and thank goodness we did. The combination of garage and beachfront theme is just perfect, including the music to pair with it all. The service was awesome, Very chill vibes and down to earth. We ended that meal with the Tiramisu. The cake was perfectly soaked and the coffee flavor was bold, just the right amount of sugar. And a good size for two to share. The whole meal was the perfect portion for two. Needless to say, we were so sad to leave and cannot wait to come back and explore the rest of the menu. We found our favorite restaurant. See you next week Diviera Dr. XOXO

«A-OK» is a good way to describe Diviera Drive. I ended up here with two friends on Labor Day for dinner after walking a few blocks looking for somewhere to eat. I really just wanted to be outside so I was sold after noticing they had outdoor seating in the front. There was gravel on the ground with lounge chairs and umbrellas and a big fence with graffiti in the front. I can’t decide if the whole set up was cool looking or cheesy looking. Anyways, the menu was a bit limited, clearly trying to be trendy. I got a burger mostly because I didn’t know what else to get. It was presented very, very nicely with potatoes on the side. The caramelized onions on my burger were thin and burnt to a crisp. Flavor-wise it was still okay but just odd in my opinion. I’m not sure if they did that on purpose or not. I ate like half the burger and potatoes. My friend(who has been here before) had the margarita pizza. Everything about that was okay. You really can’t go wrong with pizza in Brooklyn. My other friend who wasn’t hungry got a bowl of olives which she was happy with. My favorite part of the evening was the meat and cheese board. Either $ 6 each or $ 18 for 3. The serving size for each was a lot bigger compared to what I’ve seen at wine bars.(This is obviously a good thing). We tried the prosciutto di parma, la tur, and pecorino toscano. I also really liked that the board came with soft bread. So good. Now I didn’t experience this myself, but my friend that’s been here before mentioned that they don’t serve alcohol in appropriate glassware which I would imagine gets very annoying. For example, wine is served in the same glass as water. That being said, I won’t be ordering wine. I’m not sure that I’d return by choice but if I do find myself here again, I’ll get a meat and cheese board.

I really wanted to like this place. There’s a boat outside, the location is stellar, and it looks pretty cool. Don’t be fooled, the food and drinks are OVERPRICED and super BLAND. The menu is uninspiring, the portions are tiny, and the wait staff was downright rude when we wanted to make a substitution — I quote, she said, «that’s weird». Not coming back.

Some people must dine out for the sake of the activity. Like they must go to restaurants with minimal expectations and considerations for the quality of food and service. And some people must open restaurants with no aspirations about the food. It’s like that here. Great space or rather great waste of space. The menu which consist of brick oven pizzas, pastas, and a section of American farm to table ish type entrees offered no thesis. The hostess and waitresses were apathetic hipster types(I actually hate to use this stereotype for Williamsburg venues because it really is super trite and lazy but it’s appropriate here). I started with prosecco which was good(though I finished the glass before the meal even came and our waitress never bothered to ask if I wanted another because she never came around). Others toyed with the cocktail menu and found disappointment. We got a couple of pasta dishes and a couple of entrees. All were barely edible but it took so long that we were starving by the time it arrived(over 40 minutes). The check came with a 20% gratuity included. This is not unusual for a group of 6 but given the service we received, it was nevertheless exploitative.

Diviera is a pretty cool room but I think they still have a few things to work out. Service was a little rough on our visit(the place was pretty new) with the waitress misplacing our order and being confused about the items on the menu. I also found the beer selection to be quite small. When our food did finally arrive, it was pretty tasty though, the highlight being the eggplant parm bites. The marghertia pizza was pretty average and a little overpriced for the size. The carbonara on the other hand was well priced for the size. Overall, I’m pretty close to pushing this to a 4. Hopefully the service has worked out its kinks by now.

Don’t know why people aren’t jumping on board with this new opening by Oliver Stumm of Café Select fame. It has a perfectly balanced Italian inspired menu– with super fresh modern flavors balanced with some classics, as well as an anti pasta assortment of locally sourced cheeses and salami. We had: Carbonara– one of my favorite pastas done superbly. Whole fish with Salsa Verde fantastic Perhaps the best part was our server Natasha. Although the place is new she was on top of everything. love it when the server obviously knows and loves food and still looks like a model.

I’ve been here 3 times and I’ve only seen two people upset with the service, which was on their first real opening night. They were still figuring things out so, personally, I let that go since everything else was phenomenal. They do need to fix their system for the food tickets because orders were duplicating, which can cost them some customers. I would hate to see them lose the customers/traffic they actually deserve. The eggplant parm bites, the calamari, the arugula salad, pastas are all good. And the tiramisu is amazeface as well. Their pizza is pretty good but I don’t think it’s their focus.

Only came here for drinks. Really cute new spot in BK. Great place to come if it is rainy or cloudy… has indoor seating but with plenty of windows. Gotta love some natural light! Had some sort of spicy margarita… it was delicious… so then I had too many and got drunk. The End.
