I like this place because the delivery is quick — literally within 30 minutes, and the staff is very friendly. On a scale of 1 – 5 I would give their sushi a 2.5. I’ve tried quite a few different rolls here, and they all seem to kinda taste the same. Not to say they’re bad. just not a ton of flavor.

Always on time. Good, cheap food and the lady that answers the phone is always nice. Some of the food can be a little on the bland side, depending on what you get, but worth the price. They take cards as well.

While staying in NYC I stopped by this little place and fell in love. Great food and fast serve. I hesitate to try places like this especially these diamonds in the rough but I have to admit that this place turned out to be goooood! I even saw them making the rolls fresh. Wishing to have their food right now, now that I am back home.

Got 2 Salmon teriyaki platters for delivery. Delivery was on time and was tasty, will order again!

As a busy runner I order their veggie sushi rolls on a regular basis. (Avocado cucumber, mango avocado, inari, oshinko) and occasional Edamame. It’s always been delicious and it’s cheap. It’s perfect after a stressful day of constantly being on my feet and then having a hard workout. The food usually comes SUPER FAST and it’s always exactly what you ordered and satisfying. I love this place, I’m totally addicted.

Got mad that i gave 2.50 tip and said it wasn’t enough tip. Refuses to come upstairs. Food was fine though.

I just can’t with this delivery guy. I was mega sick, and as another commenter said, I learned the delivery guy refuses to come to your door. But also, after he called me, said something untelligible, then hung up on me– my kind roommate went downstairs to collect the food for me. Only he wasn’t there. A few minutes later, my apartment buzzer goes off for 60 full seconds. Imagine how that sounds, especially when you have the flu. He ends up coming up and when I said «my roommate tried to find you outside» he THROWS the bag on the ground then walks away. Sadly, not the first time to experience his rudeness, not going to bother ordering from here again as the food is nothing special.

Worst delivery service ever! They won’t bring your food to your door, delivery guy who is rudest person I’ve seen, and the food is not packed properly (sauce is spilling inside the bag) are some of the factors why this place is horrible! This is unacceptable. Although the food is somehow good, there are too much bulls*** you have to deal with.

I wholeheartedly agree with Daria K, on of the reviewers below. The delivery service is ATROCIOUS, delivery person was outside my door for a few minutes, and i missed the doorbell (was vacuuming), when i opened the door, i caught him THROWING my bag of food at my door, uttering grievances. While i do acknowledge it’s was partly my fault for not answering the door promptly, no calls were made to my cell, the severe lack of respect for another person is appalling. The food is great but it’s disappointing how a bad delivery person can spoil the reputation of an otherwise great joint.

Forget delivery — they refuse to deliver to your door, only call when they’re out front from your building which is useless if you can’t come downstairs. The first time this happened, the delivery guy refused to come up and when I said I wasn’t able to come down, he stood outside for 15 minutes holding the button down to my buzzer. I called the restaurant furious and told her I wanted my money back and for the man to leave me alone. Instead she called the delivery man, told him he had to deliver (I heard the fight and saw it through my window), and finally he did. She called back and said my buzzer was broken and he didn’t speak english. Interesting — if my buzzer was broken, how did I buzz him upstairs after their phone call?
I tried delivery a second time, this time I just ignored my phone when he called 3 times, and eventually he came upstairs. Not a pleasant experience but since the woman on the phone the first time had been so nice and begged me to give them a second shot, I thought I would considering she swore it wouldn’t happen again.
The third time (why I tried a third time I’ll never know) was a repeat of time 1 (+ 3 ignored phone calls), this time with the delivery guy coming upstairs and pounding so hard on my door I thought he was going to break it down. I called the restaurant to complain and let them know that I want to keep ordering but this can’t keep happening, and instead of listening, she put the phone down and started talking to someone on the other end instead and ignored me.
Why I gave them 3 shots for mediocre sushi I’ll never know, there definitely won’t be a time 4 especially since time 3 ended up with me worshipping the porcelain god last night.

Sakura is amazing! I order from them on a regular basis and they always deliver fast, well-​made, fresh sushi. Love! I accidentally put the wrong address through seamless and they went out of their way to fix it and make sure I got my food with no attitude. Totally lovely. Great food great service!!! 5 stars every time.

Great sushi ! this is my spot for tokyo fried rice! Best shrimp tempura rolls hands down. anything fried at this spot will awaken your taste buds ! trust me, been they’re customers three years strong and the staff is always friendly.

I’m literally typing this review from the toilet. If I die I need this printed and placed into evidence. I ordered the seaweed salad and tuna tataki appetizer for lunch yesterday. It tasted a bit off, but I kept right on eating. It was my first time ordering from here, but it was cheap and had a fast delivery time — which looking back I should have considered as red flags. The quality of the fish is trash and the seaweed salad was slimy. I guess you get what you pay for. I’m surely paying for it now. Stay far far away.

12÷14÷15 I called to order pickup. I ordered the two roll lunch special. I ordered the spicy kani roll and the spicy chicken roll. The chicken was undercooked. I called back to inform them and the girl that answered went on to tell me that the chicken is in fact cooked, it is pickled and if I wanted to change it to come back. –_​– I think I know what rubbery and pink uncooked chicken looks like.

I ordered for lunch special, was pretty simple order for two. I ordered set of a «Tokyo Fried Chicken w Shumai» and set of a «Shrimp Teriyaki w Shumai» with two of miso soup.
Came wrong one «Chicken Teriyaki w shumai» which I disliked, came only one miso soup, supposed to have two miso soup (ordered two lunch box). No spoon :(
That is not a big deal? Yes it is a big deal if you outside and starving.

I don’t get how this place has 3.5 stars. Everything I ordered through seamless was terrible. How could you get miso soup wrong? It was lacking flavor and the scallions weren’t cooked enough. I ordered one piece of sake nigiri and they threw it in a to-​go cup. when I lifted the rice up, the salmon sashimi was wrapped in a thick clump of wasabi. this just disgusted me, as anyone who’s ever had sushi knows how much care the chefs put into their meals and that is NOT how you make nigiri. I was so upset. Then I get the chicken teriyaki + shrimp tempura dinner box and it’s all shoved together in one little box, so the teriyaki sauce soaked all of the rice and the tempura was nasty and soggy. The chicken teriyaki was sooo tasteless, as was every fucking thing in that damn box. It was just pieces of chicken breast and tasteless, thin teriyaki sauce UNDER it soaked in the rice. The tempura batter was soggy and you could tell it was cheap batter by the way the shrimp looked. I’m so very upset because I’m still fucking hungry –_–
When people ask me about this place I’ll be sure to steer them clear of it. I can’t stand restuarants, let alone a Japanese one, that takes such little care in their food and preparation clearly.
What a waste of $ 25.

I am obsessed with the chicken katsu curry with rice and it is always my go-​to takeout spot when I have an intense craving and cannot decide what to order. This dish always hits the spot and leaves me satisfied and happy!

I ordered 5 rolls, manhattan, rainbow, shrimp tempura, city and New York. Now I’m no sushi roll connoisseur so maybe I ordered pretty much the same thing with slight variations because they all tasted the same. I even performed the suggested ginger palette cleansing before sampling a different roll but still…
The service was quick and pleasant and other than the familiar taste after each new roll the food tasted fresh and nice. Their rolls are big and reasonably too. If I ever visit again I’ll do what I usually do and ask for input with my selections.

The only reason I am giving this place a two is because I didn’t die, so that was a plus.
I will not order from here again. And note that I am writing this in comparison to similarly priced places knowing that it is take out and not a fancy restaurant.
The delivery guy made me come downstairs, which is annoying because I order delivery when I don’t want to/can’t leave my apartment. The delivery guy wasn’t nice and he gave me a surprised/​annoyed look when I didn’t bring a pen down to write in a tip. He was going to make me run back up 4 flights and back down with a pen — are you serious? Thankfully a maintenance guy was nearby and had one.
I ordered the lunch special — a shrimp avocado roll and an alaska hand roll. They gave me a shrimp tempura roll, which is not a part of the lunch special so I had to pay more and also did not get a soup. I didn’t want to call back and ask for what I ordered because I didn’t want to get attitude from the delivery guy again nor did I want to walk back up and down the stairs. So instead of getting something healthy (ish) I got a nasty fried roll covered in salty sauce.
My Alaska roll was not even made out of raw salmon. It was chipped canned cooked salmon. I dont get this at all since i see pictures of raw salmon posted by other people so WTF.
Tobika sushi was knocked over and all over the container. Octopus sashimi didn’t taste fresh.
I might have called to get things sorted out but it was such an annoying experience that I figured I would forgo the few dollars lost.
I feel nauseous but there wasn’t even raw fish so I am sure its just because it was so gross and heavy.
