Haven’t been here in a while, was once good but doesn’t seem so anymore. Just ordered«sushi for two» and other stuff and we all though it was very bland and not fresh at all. Disappointed. There are better options like Waza and Sushi D.

This place is awful! The delivery was an hour late and spilled everywhere so when I opened the bag it spilled all over me and the floor! Don’t bother with these clowns, I honestly want my money back– so pissed!

The sushi here is very good and very reliable. It is a neighborhood stand by and justifiably so. The service is excellent. They seem to never close. If you like sushi, you won’t be disappointed by Yamashiro.

Awful. Awful sushi. Not fresh at all. Shrimp dumpling has no shrimp inside only plain dumpling. Taste very bad. Not recommended.

The sushi was warm, tasted fishy, and I couldn’t finish it. I wish I could get my money back. :(just go to waza instead, it’s pricier but worth it. I can’t believe how warm the sushi was and how gross it tasted.

Had the curry ramen. It was great, especially on a rainy night. & they modified my order to exclude pork & included broccoli instead. Thank you for accommodating a vegetarian :)

If I could give zero stars I would. We placed a simple online order almost 5 hours ago, and it’s yet to be delivered. We’ve called multiple times, only to be told 10 – 15 minutes or «on the way.» After the 3rd hour of waiting I tried calling back, only to have them answer the phone, hear my voice, and hang up. My $ 40 has already been paid online, yet they can’t seem to tell me where my food is or how they can fix this. I drove down there after 4 hours to try and see what the deal was, and was only given more excuses. Finally, 4 and a half hours after placing my order, I called Seamless and cancelled. Still hungry at midnight.

Servers were very friendly. However, don’t eat here if you’re in a hurry, our sushi took a little long. The prices are very fair though. We ordered a lychee mojito and a sake tini. Both were very good, but boy was the sake tini strong! Our sushi was good. The seaweed was a slightly soft and my spicy tuna was on the salty side. The green tea ice cream was yummy-2 scoops with whipped cream!

Ordered delivery: Coconut shrimp roll, which sounded great, came as a shrimp tempura roll with nothing coconutty about it. It was a good shrimp tempura but I think they forgot the coconut. Sushi joints usually don’t mess up vegetable rolls, so that was perfect. It has good ratings and looks interesting to visit. I am still actually wanting a coconut shrimp roll. I’ll try eating in and see what it’s like!

The service is amazing, the food tasted amazing. When you enter there’s only 6 tables so don’t come with your entourage. It’s very intimate and the ambience is is nice. It’s just a great place to have dinner when your in the mood for low key dining. The rest room is by the kitchen and there’s only one!

This place is amazing. I’ve been here 6 times in the past two months and I’ve never been disappointed. Often the sushi display they bring you is quite dazzling — even for fairly simple rolls. Staff is quick and helpful. Nice vibe. I love this place!

This is a great sushi spot in Clinton hill. I’ve tried several of their rolls and they are all good. The lunch specials are killer! 3 rolls are about $ 12. 50 with tax included, and they do not skimp put on the fish ! The special also includes soup or salad. Very nice workers as well.

I have been hard on this place in the past but I must say my most recent meal was very good, and the price was fair… an other place near by is getting a bit over the top price wise

The ramen is just so so. I have to say it’s an American style ramen rather than the authentic Japanese one. The soup is not rich at all. I had to say just salt and/or MSG inside it. I expected to have the authentic Japanese style pork soup with my ramen, but was disappointed.

If you enjoy spending an evening with a toilet as a pillow, eat here. To begin with, they first brought me the wrong food. After calling it in, they brought the right food 45 minutes later. I was then pummeled by an entire night and morning of food poisoning-related ailments. For reference, I got the California roll and chicken katsu. Wasn’t being particularly adventurous that night. Do not eat here.

Everything is delicious. Great prices and the staff is really friendly. I especially love the tuna fried wontons with jalapeños on top. So yummy! The plating is also very beautiful. I really enjoyed the pineapple fried rice. It came inside this really big baked pineapple. You have to end your meal with the delicious fried cheesecake. YUM!

Favorite Japanese restaurant on Mrytle. Crispy dragon roll(6 $) is something you need to try! Outstanding service and affordable price. Their sushis are especially exceptional! Also, try their ‘tempura banana icecream’ or ‘tempura icecream’! However, their ramens are not that great. I hope they can improve somehow because this place is my favorite place in the area!

Confessions of a Hangry Asian Girl: Oh Yamashiro, I really, really wanted to like you because I was really, really hangry. The Good: –Sushi was fresh. I got mostly traditional rolls.(Seamless order) The Bad: –Delivery took 55 minutes. The estimated delivery time was 30 – 45. It felt like 10 light years though. I saw things.(This was after gym) –The sushi rice needs more salt/vinegar/sugar mixture. –Can you describe your seamless menu better? I got the Caterpillar roll because I thought it had eel in it. Instead I got a roll with spicy tuna and gross tempura flakes. I hate tempura flakes. This would have be ameliorated by EELSAUCE on all of my sushi except… The Ugly: –Charged me for EELSAUCE and then didn’t give me any. How will I ever be able to trust another sushi delivery order again?

Delicious, fresh sushi/sashimi, and beautifully plated. The owner and servers are very attentive and generous. I was offered whitefish tempura on the house to go with my wasabi roll and yellowtail. The itamaes are artistes!

I ordered for delivery. Which came quickly, in about 20 – 25 minutes. I have no real complaints about the place. That being said, i couldn’t give it a perfect 5 stars without eating in once or twice. But i do recommend the Chicken Katsu, and The lobster rolls

The quality of the food is very good, and you get what you pay for. If you’re stoned don’t order from here; you can’t afford it.

Love their ramen, but never had their sushi. Whenever I have out of town guests visit me, I always take them there and they love it!
