On my receipt, it says the girl who rung me up was Christina. She is black, and wears a thick chain like necklace. She is about 5’5″. She doesn’t have a name tag on, so I’m assuming she is Christina. I was standing in front of her long enough for me to grab my phone and take this photo of her. She decides that it is more important to her to finish her conversation on the phone than serve customers. She is seen wearing gloves, but she is holding her phone with her gloves on… her phone is probably greasy from the food served, so I can’t imagine her phone to be clean. She is touching money, she is touching her face and her phone and EVERYONE’S FOOD. Her attitude is completely nasty, as she was yelling out«HELLO!!!» to the guests whose orders were ready instead of calling out their names on the order. Her is constantly touching her face, which is rather oily at the time and she looks tired and not on the mood to be doing anything. When my order was ready. She simply tossed it on the counter at my direction. I did not see management at this time as it was late and every one of the staff present were giggling and laughing.

I dont come to Wendy’s expecting an amazing experience, but it doesnt have to suck everytime. Majority of the night crew workers are miserable(not all, but most) Their attitudes are terrible and they cleary dont want to be there. They talk amongst each other loudly as you try to place your order, suck their teeth when customers come in the door late night & act as if they are doing you a huge favor by «serving» you. I also recommend you check your food before you leave because chances are youll be missing an item you’ve paid for. The food is fine but it is what it is… fast food. In a neighborhood FULL of food options, why not step up the customer service a bit.

I don’t think it was Wendy’s intention to think small. When Wendy decided on this location, I think they wanted bigger, and each time I visit this place I hear those voices. Their street level is nothing to write big about. Weeks later, I saw the upstairs dining area, its comfortable up there and at times helpful, but remember when schools out, it packs in. The prices here are understandable, its 86th St. Bayridge, not Hylan Blvd. Staten Island where it’s low cost. At any Wendy’s their Chili is always a big hit. Wendy has steep rivals here over 10 other major fast restaurants in a 2 block area plus coffee houses. Having viewed this competition. 4th avenue does not keep up to Wendy’s and I bypass most of it.

Just walked in to hear the kid that is supposed to be cooking saying I ain’t doing shit I’m front of his manager. They didn’t want to take my order and the manager did nothing. The cook was giving me dirty looks like he was gonna hit me for ordering food. Most of those kids working there have no sense of work ethic and should be fired. Wendy’s on 86st is by far the most disgusting place in the area. Managers are scared of their employees, bad customer service, place is ALWAYS dirty and I promise that was the last time I’d step into that garbage dump. I feel sorry for the good kids that work there and have to be bullied by these wanna be thugs.

Family day out. Decided to go to wendys to try the pulled pork sandwhich. We had ordered one spicy and one smoky as well as two kids meals. One with apple slices and a burger and one with chicken nuggets and fries. Upon looking in the bag, they had put two fries instead. Not that bad, honest mistake. We gave it back and he threw the fries away. Other bags opened and there were two spicy pulled pork sandwhiches. Okay. I had went back downstairs and asked for the smoky. Cashier was nice. He told the person in the back making sandwhiches and she replied rudely and loudly«did she even open it oh my god.» Both of the sandwhiches were smoky once we did open it… Im not going to open them if off the bat, if i see a red flag, you know? Going to speak to a manager later. I work in the food industry. You don’t do that. If youre going to speak about a customer, do it on your own time or on lunch. Not within an earshot. Did i mention our sandwhiches were cold? Completely cold. Not just the coleslaw. Edit: had went to the manager directly afterwards. I told her what had happened and she sincerely apologized and was confused about the packaging of the burgers too. She had offered to remake the burgers. That would have been gluttonous and i declined. She saw the kids and offered frosties instead. I had originally gave the store a 1 star but i bumped it up to a 3-average due to her help. :)

Wendy’s is just entirely disgusting !!! My boyfriend use to work there and they fired him because he threw away cups after they fell on the floor, the shift supervisor cared about the food cost so much that he terminated my boyfriend for caring about a sanitary work environment. The employees attitude is HORRIBLEANDTHEMANAGEMENTISHORRIBLE !!! They never have ketchup or napkins and the bathroom on the first floor forget about it, it’s gross .drug addicts in the bathroom shooting up. I’ve seen a nest of roaches by the frosty machine in the corner and the rats are playing soccer in the upstairs dining area. There is a subway around the corner from Wendy’s so the rats breeding in there is ridiculous. They rats are just chilling with customers like nothing is wrong. One of the managers in there is STINK you shouldn’t be allowed to work around food and people with bad hygiene. Good hygiene is MANDATORYINTHEWORKPLACE

I’m a huge Wendy’s fan and I have not experienced the problems other reviews are saying. I’ve been here a few times and the burgers, chili, and Frosty have been on point, and with fast service. They seem to lack napkins and a good line system though.

Wish I could have selected no stars!!! Came here on a Thursday afternoon, tried placing my order but they literally had nothing, No Chili, No Coke!(SERIOUSLY? how do you run out of coke), No baked potatoes! So I ended up ordering a home style chicken only to get home and bite into a frozen raw chicken sandwich. Won’t ever come back here.

Ok, logistically this place is a nightmare. Get a velvet rope like most other Wendy’s have already figured out. I’ve come in here probably 3 times since it’s been open, at various times of the day, and it’s always the same thing. A bunched up line, and then people cornered over by the bathroom waiting for their food, while some other genius stands smack dab in front of the delivery counter. On this most recent visit, the soda comes out about 5 mins before the food items, and the guy says«thank you», leaving you to wonder if they screwed up your order. When they got my «no-cheese» burger, lost in the shuffle, they were poking around inside the wrapper with their bare hands, to figure out which one it was… not good. Then, 3 or 4 orders all pop out at once. Why do we have all these computers and buttons, if it’s not going to improve efficiency and get me my food while it’s still hot? This is one of those reviews where I say to myself…“God, please let someone from corporate or the owner, actually read this thing.“ This is not a «complaining session», there are just so many practical things that can be done to improve the customer experience at this location.

No napkins? After being three bites deep into my sandwhich, I asked a staff member for napkins. He told me none were ordered. He then went on a hunt to find me something. Shame on the manager at this location. At least the staff cares.

This new location just opened recently and I couldn’t wait to try it. I love Wendy’s chicken nuggets and this location is close to the R train. The location has updated amenities and is very clean. The cashiers are not really polite and a bit rude even when you try to be polite. There are no lines to organize the different cashier lines so it can be a bit unorganized to place an order. Also, make sure to check your bag as I ordered water and was told they ran out of water [and wasn’t offered a substitute — I had to ask for one] and I received the wrong order.

This doesn’t even deserve a one star I would give it non if I could. Ordered chili with a lemonade just to get home and find out I have food poisoning. Don’t ever go here I don’t want anyone going through the pain I went through. The staff is very disrespectful and hope this place closes down or gets an inspection.

If you enjoy getting ignored and witnessing your cashier complain about her management and call her coworkers faggots then by all means RUN do not walk to this Wendy’s. Customer service is horrid — walked out two days in a row. The only way I’ll be back is if I see the same cashier working so I can politely remind her that there are a few words out there that some people may find extremely offensive. Also, maybe we could examine some new career choices for her since serving other human beings doesn’t seem like her strong point.

I was so excited when I found out that Wendy’s opened in Bay Ridge. Tried it today on a whim. I ordered a burger. I took it home and was half way through it when something seemed weird while I was chewing. It was a piece of plastic. Maybe some kind of plastic packaging. There was plastic in my burger. I threw the rest out in case there were any more surprises in there. The fries were also pretty soggy. Will absolutely not be returning.

I much prefer Wendy’s food to its neighboring McDonalds, however, I’ve given this fast food joint three tries and each has been extremely disappointing. The employees at this Wendy’s are extremely incompetent and very rude. There hasn’t been one occasion in which they didn’t get something in my order wrong, and when I politely tried to correct them, they laughed it off and intentionally took extra time to fix the mistake. On one occasion, the cashier was cursing out a previous customer after she had left the establishment and using profanities in front of other customers. The level of unprofessionalism is horrendous. I will never step foot in this Wendy’s again.

My experience here was a joke. There was no one on line when my boyfriend and I arrived and as soon as we were about to order, we were skipped by a very rude customer. What made my experience shitty was the fact that the cashier saw this, laughed, and took the rude customer’s order. Maybe I was cranky and hungry, but come on! The rude customer acknowledged the fact that she skipped us, and instead of stepping in line, she was taken first. When I’m in the area I’ll just walk over to Five Guys.

I love Wendy’s and I am glad they opened one up here. PROS: — it’s clean — service is pretty quick — there’s more seating upstairs — great interior design — very modern looking —(better looking then the one at caesar’s bay) — Chili is always good(affordable price too) — Love their value menu(a lot of options for just a little more than a buck) — e.g. fries; 4 piece nuggets CONS: — none really.
