Thank you Unilocal community! Without your assistance I would have never noticed Parma in the sea of strip malls surrounding the Mall of Georgia. Parma is a real oasis in this chain-food desert section of town. It has an upscale feeling without being pretentious. A long, narrow trendy dining room leads to the kitchen with a view of their handsome pizza ovens.(They apparently won Best Pizza in Gwinnett County 2015, I agree with this decision!) The small bar area was full of regular patrons getting ready for a trivia night. Our server was fantastic and took time not just to know what we might be interested in for dinner but what we like? What brings us to town? How we found the restaurant? Refreshing for sure. The bartender knows her stuff and mixed up a winning cocktail. Nice list of beer on tap and the food was great. Bookmarked Parma for the next time I’m in town!

Parma is my «go to» place. I LOVE Parma. I was originally drawn in by their Krispy Kreme burger and have been hooked ever since. Parma has something for everyone and pretty much everything on their menu is great. We’ve tried most things and have never been let down or had a problem. We start with Justin Kettle chips, which are now named Potchos(for some reason I liked the kettle chips better, not sure if something has changed) but still good. Fried eggplant and bruschetta, also good. The Krispy Kreme burger, is still, an all time favorite. We get it almost every time we come. It’s the perfect sweet and salty combo and I can certainly appreciate this, especially around a particular time of the month ;-) The pizza’s are fantastic, the best one we’ve had here was the Fungus Amongus– yum! Cesar salad is perfectly creamy. Oh, and who could forget one of the best parts? $ 2 Parma Ale — it’s actually pretty damn good. If that is not up your alley, you will be sure to find a variety of beers on draft or mixed drinks. Parma has never grossed me out. Tables, chairs, floors, utensils, cups everything is always clean with no food residue. This is so huge to me. Another biggie is the service, I’ve never had bad service here. Waitress’ are attentive and easy going; never feel rushed here. I certainly appreciate how consistent this place stays. Excellent food & service whether it be 1 pm or 1 am! We bring out of town guests here and they always request to come back :)

We decided to try this restaurant after the Rave reviews posted on Unilocal and was unfortunately disappointed. Entered and was told 20 min. wait no problem we stood behind the packed bar about 3 min later a couple stood to the left of us another min after a couple also waiting to the right of us. The Bartender offered couple to right drink gave them their drinks then next offered couple to left drinks and gave them their drink. We continued to stand there waiting to see if we would be offered the same; made eye contact with Bartender several times needless to say no Offer. We felt very slighted and offended but guess it was clear our business or money was not accepted. Asked for Manager and the usual made excuses«typical». Well my money is green and has the same value. We walked out and went elsewhere really sad that in 2016 this is America!

I wanna give a big thanks to Atlanta Eats for referring me to this place. I’m glad to have a quality place like this outside the perimeter. This is a neat little eatery that serves up everything from burgers/sandwiches to rustic Italian dishes and pizzas. The first thing that stands out is the wait staff… I’ve been here twice and my service has been nothing short of excellent. The waitresses I had were very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, attentive and really worked for their tip. A+ The menu is pretty deep, featuring a share of monthly specials. The food is simply amazing! Their calling card, though I haven’t tried it, is their Krispy Kreme burger… definitely on my to do list. Their pasta dishes are so good! I can recommend the Penne Bosco and the parmesan crusted chicken. You can’t go wrong with their pizzas either, try the Buford Drive. Nice light crust, and the ingredients mesh together so well. Be sure to save room for dessert too. The offerings vary periodically, but if they have a cheesecake on the menu, try it! In short, I love this place! Great to come sit by the bar area and watch the game, or bring a date and have a nice intimate dinner. You can tell the food is made with pride and love. This place is one of my new favorites, great for us OTP foodies! 5 stars, hands down!

The Krispy Kreme burger is amazing. I ate the Maytag burger which was great as well. We started off with the Mista Salad which was so good I took two to go for later. My son had the kids pepperoni pizza and after he tasted it he refused to share. We finished with the s’more cheesecake. Everything was great and fresh with nothing but fresh ingredients. We will be back.

I read about Parma’s Krispy Kreme burger in Atlanta Eats and have been talking about it for months now. My friend finally convinced me to make the drive to Buford and try it out. And boy was it worth it! We arrived around 8:30pm on a Saturday and it was very busy. The hostess informed us that it would be a 25 – 30 min wait. There isn’t much seating in this restaurant so when it gets full it stays full for a long time. We ordered drinks at the bar which was also full. Standing room is limited and you feel like you’re always in the way. After about 20 mins, the hostess informed us that it would still be another 20 – 30 min since most of the tables were still dining. At this point a couple seated at a high top that had room for 8, offer us to dine at their high top since they had so much room. Our waitress was awesome! Go see Anna! She was friendly and great with recommendations. My husband can be difficult with his ordering– he asked for an additional patty and fried egg on his Krispy Kreme burger– she was very accommodating! The food came out quickly and the Krispy Kreme burger is everything it was hyped up to be. Delicious! Fried Brussels Sprouts were a must for me. The pizza is good as well. But nothing as good as the burger. So if your wondering what a Krispy Kreme burger would taste like, stop wondering, I highly recommend you try this spot out.

We’ve enjoyed every visit to Parma In regard to the food and service. The Krispy Kreme Burger is ridiculously good, and we both love their pizzas. I’ve often enjoyed their specials as well. Anna has been our server several times, who is an absolute angel. This last weekend, she even had a burger customized for our friend, adding an additional patty and fried egg, options that were not on the menu. My only gripes would be that it feels a *little* overpriced, and I wish they would change up the menu. It’s been the same for the last several years as far as I can tell, and may be time to shake things up. We also unknowingly came on «dance party» night one Thursday, and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Basically some dude opened up his laptop, hooked up some speakers way too loud, and cleared the tables in front of the kitchen. No one danced, the music was rough, and it was just generally awkward. The other 6 days of the week are great though!

I absolutely love this place! If you haven’t had the Italian Tacos(only served on Mondays now) then you are missing out! Dessert is always been wonderful and the Parmesan Crusted Chicken and Krispy Kreme Burgers are to die for! The staff is always polite and the owner is here and talks with us every time we visit.

I can’t complain about one thing I had. Fries, eggplant chips, pizza, salad and burger were excellent. IMO items were waaaaay over priced, hence the empty dining room. If they lowered their price a bit, they would have a packed house. I was impressed with the quality of the pizza dough: Light, flavorful, crisp. I loved the misto salad: nice toppings and lightly dressed. I was impressed with the special menu. They had lots of seasonal items that sounded yummy. Overall I’ll be back but be picky about what I order so I don’t leave with an $ 80 bill for 4 people with only 2 entrees, 2 drinks and two appetizers.

First time here, husband and I tried the Margarita pizza and the chicken Alfredo, both very good. The space inside is small so it wouldn’t be good for large groups but it isn’t too small for a date night. Will be back!

First of all the wait staff could not be any nicer. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Our waitress made some great recommendations and took very good care of us. They have lots of great beer choices and lots of specials that change monthly. I have eaten here two times now. The pizza is very good. The crust is so good. They were so nice to us. We ordered the large pizza. Because it came out a little smaller than they thought it should be, they made us another pizza. We were not expecting that and really didn’t notice but my husband was thrilled. He had lunch for the next day. I had a side Caesar salad with my pizza and the dressing was wonderful. My daughter had the crab stuffed ravioli. It came out beautifully presented. It was very good. We had to end the meal with mini cannolis. All in all great food and amazing customer service.

First time visiting Parma. Decided to visit after seeing a movie at Mall of Ga. We ordered the kettle chips which were amazing!!! Hubby had the 76 burger(monthly special, not a menu regular) Whig was over and beyond! I had the classic lasagna. If you come to an Italian eatery you have to try a classic right? Well it was delicious! Also great drink selections! Great first impression, we’ll definitely be back.

I loved the ambiance of the restaurant, very good feel and décor. Pizza and pasta dishes were very tasty. My low review is based on service only. Our server was very friendly but I think she was the only person working other than the bartender. Our beers were sitting on the bar for her to pick up for the longest time! It was frustrating because we couldn’t get her attention almost like she was trying not to look at us. They really didn’t seem that busy either? I had to get up and walk up to her to ask her to bring our beers. If you’re on any type of schedule, you should probably skip this place.

Our first visit to Parma Rustic Tavern. It reminded me slightly of Ray’s Killer Creek wood panel style. Beautiful restaurant. Normally I am not a big pasta fan but thought it would be a nice place to eat lunch. Plus it is something new for my husband to try and enjoy as he goes to work in mornings and do not get to eat out as much. We both ordered the Classic Lasagna and side salads. The lasagnas were delivered to our table on a plate with a small HOT frying pan and side of herb rosemary sprinkle log roll! It was that good!!! Better than Ippolitos!!! Afterwards, we both ordered two miniature cannolis. These were very small for the size, smaller than the ones you would find in Publix deli but delicious nonetheless. It was a pleasurable lunch experience and will like to eat here again soon.

We were hungry after spending the day house hunting & shipping, so my husband wanted something close by & we both wanted to try something new. This place was perfect, as it was about 3 mins from the mall(Mall of Ga) in one of the many shopping centers off of Buford drive. Once we arrived, we parked in the back because the front was full. We walked in and waited for about 7 mins at the front before anyone told us that it was self seat. This annoyed me because the girl who ended up being our server actually greeted us, and decided to not say a word about it. She passed us by 2 or 3 times before she decided to say«seat yourselves» Also, there were 2 woman at the bar who watched us stand at the hostess table as well and didn’t notify us. It wasn’t until we turned around to leave out that we were informed. Once we had a seat, out server came by, she wasn’t very friendly. Not rude, but just not warm & friendly like what one expects from a waiter. She wasn’t the best, but certainly not the worst. On a positive note: The food is GREAT! I dined in with my husband &2 kids & everyone enjoyed everything! We started off with the spinach dip fondue, which was a meal in itself! It’s served with marinated cherry tomato slices & sliced garlic with tortilla chips. For my entrée I chose the Parmesan crusted chicken, which was also yummy(the sauce on the chicken was some type of creamy Dijon sauce, so you won’t enjoy it if you don’t like Dijon mustard, but I love it & loved the dish all the same! It’s served with Alfredo over penne pasta, which was a perfect way for me to test out the Alfredo without actually having to order it. It was good by the way, perfectly seasoned, and creamy. My husband ordered the Krispy Kreme Angus cheeseburger, which was absolutely DELICIOUS! The buns are real Krispy Kreme doughnuts, icing and all! The burger itself was flavorful & seasoned to perfection. It’s served with grilled onions, bacon, American cheese & barbecue sauce(which I typically don’t like on a burger), but just a little, didn’t take away from the burger or overpower it, it was just a tiny bit. The burger was served with what looked & tasted like hand cut fries. We NEVER order restaurant burgers, but ya can’t pass up something like this lol. Our kids gobbled up every drop of their meal, they had cheese pizza, this too did not disappoint. The pizza looked good, but unfortunately they weren’t sharing with mommy. For dessert I had the Carrot cake. It wasn’t that great. It was a 3 layer cake, served cold & full of all sorts of odd things that I’m unsure of what they were. There was coconut, carrot, and something I noticed something green after we finished off majority of the cake, I was afraid to ask what it was. The icing was super sweet, but it wasn’t traditional cream cheese icing, it was more of a whipped icing, which went well with the cake since it was served cold. Overall, the carrot cake was just ok, I wouldn’t order it again. I ordered a mini cannoli for my daughter, and this will definitely be my dessert on my next trip to Parma! It was SO good! I only got to try the filling because my daughter pretty much swallowed it whole lol. It was dense, and sweet, and oh so tasty, I could just eat it alone off of a spoon. All and all, Parma is a great place to dine. It’s cozy, clean, the server was tolerable, the prices are awesome and the food is EXCELLENT! I gave 4 stars because our first impression was that we weren’t welcome in the restaurant & that pretty much set the tone for me. They should put a sign up if it’s self seat, especially if there’s a hostess stand at the entrance, otherwise there’s no way to know. Great food, ok service, will return.
