My best friends and I go once a week Pinocchio’s never disappoints! The servers are always super friendly. They give you a large side of garlic bread along with your order. My favorite go-tos are the veggie lasagna with meat sauce and a chocolate cannoli and coffee chocolate chip gelato for dessert! Yum Yum

Came by here while visiting Blast From the Past comics just next door the place was PACKED! i came in earlier in the day for some gelato and it was pretty good! only thing is i asked for one cup with two different flavors and was given two cups with each flavor. not sure if the employee understood or they don’t mix flavors but oh well i came by later and wanted to get a sandwich to go but the line was just way too long and i wouldn’t have time to wait as i had to get to work. so i just settled for some desserts which were meh, i ordered baba arom(not sure the italian name for it, the rum cake basically) a cannoli and napoleon… the cannoli was the best part and that was just decent

First time here and wasn’t disappointed. It’s not your typical restaurant. You wait in a line to get your order taken and work your way to he register take your food to a table. There’s no waiters or servers but that’s what makes this place interesting. Place is always busy but line is quick as long as the people in front of you know what they want.

Restrooms are not great but by no means horrible. And the staff can be friendly you just have to talk to them and ask them how there day went lol! Over all it was fantastic the food was very good and perfect to share.

Fantastic food!!! Great service! They’re so friendly and the amount of food is insane. It’s at a great price and you can’t miss out on the gelato. Honestly, one of my girlfriend and I’s favorite place to eat. I was so impressed with everything.

We were craving some italian and didn’t want to spend an hour waiting and dining in somewhere. My sister mentioned the deli/take out style of this place and we checked it out. Excellent idea on her part! I got the gluten free penne with sausage, my sister got the cheese ravioli and my husband got the beef lasagna. Everyone was well fed and happy with our choices. All three of our dishes+drinks ended up costing less than $ 40 total. Not bad for some quick and delicious italian food! They said the garlic bread was amazing as well, so make sure to accept that! The seating is easy, and you just take your tray and plop down at an open table. The bus boys were very quick at cleaning up after people left and everyone was very friendly.

Being Sicilian, and having been raised on a diet of all things Italian, I have a constant urge to stop at every Italian eatery that looks halfway authentic. Most wind up being worth a shot, even if they’re only of average quality. This was slightly better, though my service experience brought out the fiery side of my Sicilian heritage. I didn’t get a chance to take advantage of all the amazing food being sold on the grocery side, but I sure wish I had. Cold cuts, cheeses, olives, olive oils, gelato… it’s Dago heaven. On the restaurant side, they’ve got a serving station set up where you can order up sandwiches, entrée plates, sides and salads. I wanted the sausage & peppers plate with a side of pasta and meat sauce. I made my order and they guy asked me «What size bread?». This confused me since the plate I wanted wasn’t a sandwich. When I reiterated the number(all of the entrees are listed by numbers), he again assured me this was the right order. I said«large» thinking maybe I was the one who got things wrong. Nope. This dumb fuck proceeded to make me a sausage & pepper sandwich and then he gave me a single side of salad. When I inquired yet again, he still insisted this was correct. It wasn’t. When I got up to the register I asked the guy ringing me up if this was the number three plate. He said it wasn’t. No shit. So, after yelling at his co-worker in Spanish they ditched my plate(what a waste of food) and made me up the right one that I wanted. C’mon guys, you don’t have THAT many options; learn the numbers. So after all that, how was the food? Good, not great. The sausage was decent but I’ve definitely had better. Still, it goes so well with peppers & onions that I was happy enough. The side of spaghetti was really good with the meat sauce. I also dug the mountain of spinach salad it came with. The self-seating area works nicely. No waiters to deal with; you just find a spot in one of the large sections and plop down. Nice atmosphere, like an old-school Italian joint. After we finished eating I had to get a cannoli because I am a cannoli whore. If they are around I will eat them. All of them.

I feel pretty let down from my recent visits. I always get the white sauce and the past few times it honestly doesn’t takes the same anymore. Before it was so rich and full of flavor but now it taste store bought. My boyfriend took me out to dinner there tonight and we spent over $ 20 and this only makes me feel like I could if just made it at home for more than half the price. Tonight we also got gelato which has always been good but it’s been such a long time since we have been back here that we forgot that when you order they don’t call out a number … So we are ordering ice cream about to leave and I ask my boyfriend where our food is… He goes up and picks it up and right before we are about to leave one of the workers has the nerve to ask us if we «paid for that» We both looked at him and said«yes» As he continued to look at u

This restaurant is delicious! I ordered a huge amount of food for catering and the staff was extremely helpful with helping me get all of it to my car. Be warned, the portions are HUGE! Everything I tasted was delicious and you can tell the meatballs were handmade. They were a huge hit. I also requested to pick up the food earlier and they said it was no problem. Excellent customer service :)

This is the cutest deli and restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. And I mean cute in the sense that it is an old school Italian joint that serves up good food without all the fancy trimmings. Half of this restaurant is a deli, and the other half is a restaurant/gelateria. The market/deli section is actually pretty large and they have a great selection for imported pastas, canned goods, oils and such. There’s also a huge selection of cheese, cured meats, wine, and a ton of italian pastries. Basically it is an italian family’s dream come true. The restaurant is actually cafeteria style. You pick what you want from their menu and they make it for you in front of you. I was really happy to see that they have pink sauce! I ordered their spaghetti and meatball with pink sauce and my boyfriend ordered their fettuccine chicken alfredo. We also ordered a small side of Greek Salad and both our orders came with fresh garlic bread. I adored my meal. The pink sauce wasn’t as rich as other places which I actually prefer. And the meatball? divine and definitely homemade. I didn’t care too much for the alfredo but I’m not a fan of alfredo at all. My boyfriend liked it though and ate all of it with some garlic bread. The Greek Salad would have been fantastic had it not been sitting around in dressing for god knows how long. it was overdressed and a little limp. We finished our meal with some Strawberry Cheesecake Gelato and Chocolate Coffee Chip gelato. It was the perfect end to a hearty Italian dinner. The serving size is on the large side so I think you can actually share one entrée. The prices are reasonable also. I just wish that it was closer to me and not in the middle of Burbank! I’ll be back for sure when I’m craving some old school Italian food. 4⁄5

This place has survived many years and always has a ton of people coming in so you know it’s gotta be doing something right. One side is a market filled with all kinda of Italian goods needed to make an authentic meal at home. In the middle you will a find a deli with all the meats, cheeses, and desserts you can set your Italian craving eyes on. Not to mention the gelato case. Now, the other side is where you find the cafeteria style hot/cold food section. You look up at the menu on the wall or the specials on the side and then order up. They place your food on a tray and you push your tray down to the cashier. But before that, you look over all the delicious salad items you can add to your meal. If you order a sandwich and eat in, you get to order two salads! So for $ 6.99 I chose the Monte Carlo small sandwich which has some pretty tasty mortadella, and the spinach salad plus the side of artichokes. My bf got the plate of lasagne. The meat sauce tasted pretty good despite looking kinda blando. Oh and for $ 3 you can get a glass of wine! Some of their pasta dishes looked kind of mediocre because the sauce looked and tasted pretty bland. I’m not saying That it’s bad but Presentation is one thing and if it looks unappetizing, I probably won’t order it. Anyway, you gotta stop at the gelato case and get yourself some chocolate chip or balsamic fig! Or pistachio!!!
