I have to agree with most the Unilocalers on here. Its ehhh ok if you are looking to just get in grab a quick bit to eat and take it to go. The place is way too small, can’t really eat thier without having other patrons breathing down your neck. The staff for the most part skimps on your food and are kind of rude depending on thier mood for the day. Every so often I will get a nice one. Forget about coming here when the kids from the High School are on Lunch break as its way to small to handle that many kids. In short you’ll survive if you go here, just dont expect something near what Subway Claims is thier standard.

So the over weight lady is not nice at all, she barely wanted to give napkins when I used the ones she gave me to clean the table they apparently don’t clean. While the short manly looking lady didn’t want to help me she just kept asking for the other lady, I guess she doesn’t speak English. The owner of this place is probably cheap and doesn’t want to pay the minimum wage for real employees. The owner would apparently would rather have people like this working. What a shame

Avoid this location if possible, by far the worst Subway I’ve ever been too, never looks clean, and the veggies never seem to be fresh. Can’t live up to there motto of «Eat Fresh» I see…

Okay so here’s the deal. I have been to this place enough to piece together what is going on. Most of the staff here is friendly, especially the old ladies, especially the one with glasses. Sometimes they can make a pretty good sandwich. The issue here isn’t the staff but the owner. I have seen when he shows up how the dynamic of the whole restaurant changes. The employees, as other Unilocalers have stated, are forced to skimp on the amount of ingredients they put in sandwiches. I don’t hold that against the employees, and genuinely feel bad for most of them. The boss is often on the registers and is just plain rude; worse than the soup nazi. I hate walking in and seeing him there. Days that he is not, I usually have a pretty god experience and the food is usually no different than other Subways.

It’s so filthy. They don’t clean the counters where they prepare the food, so gross. This is the third time I walked in and right out of there. It’s too bad because this location is very convenient. So disgusting!

wow this location has the worst service i have gotten from any eatery, fast food or not, and the worst subway i have been too. very rude high school kids run the place, with absolutely no interest in serving you or even taking your order correctly — i had to repeat myself 4 times, and still got attitude and an incorrect order from ‘samantha’ who insisted i ordered something else — after 4 tries. bummed since its close by. won’t be going back any time soon.

This is the WORST subway I’ve ever been to. I’ve waited years to write this review because I keep trying this location on and off, hoping it was just the specific workers I’ve gotten that were bad. Nope. As I suspected, it’s the owners of this location who are terrible. They tell the employees specifically to skimp on every single topping they put on your sandwich. And if one of the owners makes your sandwich, you’re shit outta luck. They are an older Indian couple. If you ask them to put more olives or lettuce or tomato or literally any topping, they will do so begrudgingly and give you a hard time for asking them to put a similar amount of ingredients ad any other subway. They skimp on the dressings too and it’s like pulling teeth trying to get them to be fair. BTW, As I’m writing this review in the restaurant, I’m listening to someone arguing them to put more ranch on their sandwich haha. I’m surprised this place is still open. I’ve come here on and off on rare occasions over the past 8 years and I am always extremely disappointed. I will never darken their doorway again. I highly recommend driving the extra mile or so to go to a different location.

Terrible service. The Persian owner who owns majority of the surrounding Burbank location refused to give me a water cup on multiple occasion and is always pushy on buying chip and drinks rather then focusing on the quality of his food

Absolutely the worst subway restaurant I’ve been too. The workers are terrible and have no respect and the manager/boss is absolutely the cheapest and most unappealing person I have met, if you are going to subway I recommend going elsewhere stay away from this one.

Finally got a proper sandwich here. Normally they dole out the veggies like wartime rations. Just when I was going to bail out on this location the young lady today(she’s new) fixed me a real sandwich worthy of the $ 7 price tag. I’m sure the boss will run her when he gets wind of her tactics, so I’ll thank her quickly for the fine sammy. She will be missed!

They seem to have improved at this location! The gal that helped me was super nice and helpful… I went back a few days later and it was all good again. I will return to this location and am happy to give a new and improved review.

Disappointing. Didnt have any flatbread and feta. Talked to each other more than customers, very fatigued people working. Put 2 almost totally black avocado slices and didnt care, after me pointing to that, the guy just took them out without putting new ones. Eghh… Wont be back to this location.

I eat too much fast food, and to try and mitigate that I visit Subway a lot. This store is close to my house, so I’ve been in here a number of times. They’re not the friendliest team in town, but I’m there for a sandwich, not a conversation. I usually get a large drink with my combo, and because I don’t need fifty-thousand 42-ounce plastic cups lying around, I just keep one and re-fill it when I go to places like this. Today, I stopped in and got a sandwich and a bag of chips, and when I paid I indicated that I needed to buy a drink refill and showed the employee my cup. I didn’t pay that much attention to the total because these are franchises and prices seem to vary. And I didn’t even think about the cost until I was filling my drink cup and some manager/owner/whatever started reading me the riot act, saying that I didn’t pay for it. «What are you talking about… here’s my receipt, and I paid what I was asked to pay.» I replied. Then the employee tells him she didn’t charge me for a drink because she saw I had a cup with me(what did she think I planned to do with it?). So now I’m standing there, with the manager lecturing me like I’m a shoplifter, and his employee having completely thrown me under the bus. And all *I* wanted was to get lunch and reduce the environmental impact of my existence for a few plastic cups. Honestly, it was surreal. So I did the only thing I could think of to do: I walked out. And vowed to never return. If you want a sandwich, there’s a Quizno’s across the street. If you really dig Subway, there’s one of those in the Empire Center. But don’t go to this one unless you’re into a side of abuse and ill will with your food. Oh, and the parking here sucks too, so if you DO show up be prepared to spend some time dodging KMart shoppers while you hunt down a space.

This place obviously has no respect toward their customers! Especially the cashier who is a grandpa that has bald white hair! He kicked us out for sharing drinks and refilling twice but all we had enough was for 1 drink n 3 subs. After kicking us out he threw out drinks on our shoes. I decided to make this Unilocal account because after that incident, the same guy kicks us out for refilling 3 twice and it was a small cup. Worst subway in burbank. I wish there was a negative rating!

I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I haven’t shared this with many people but I trust you Unilocalers out there. I really like Subway. I don’t believe in their slogan, Eat Fresh because honestly, what looks fresh about it? It does taste good though. My favorite sandwich there is the Cold Cut Trio foot long on wheat bread with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and jalapeños. This subway in particular is nothing special. The staff isn’t particularly friendly or anything. it is a small Subway with barely any seating but it is within walking distance from my house so the convenience outweighs all of that. Also there is a strange man who comes in here who is seemingly talking to you but when you try to talk back to him you just realize he is talking to himself. I don’t know what else to say really because there is not much to subway. You go in order a sandwich and you get it. Then you eat it. Case Closed. This subway is nothing special. I also wish that they didn’t skimp on the meat, back in my day these sandwiches used to be loaded with meat, not I think it is called double meat or something. PSH! n00bs!

I’ve been going to this subway for years and each of my experiences have been mediocre… The service can be great or awful depending on the day that you visit. I have to say the cheese and brocoli soup here was much better than other locations. I was very disappointed when they took out the orange bang tho… =[

When I started writing Unilocal reviews I said(to no one but myself, really) that reviewing fast food seemed kind of silly. That was until I found the absolute worst Subway branch in the history of bland, assembly line sandwiches. Once in a great while you’ll luck in to coming in when a young guy in his mid twenties is working… he’s pretty cool, is always careful when making your sandwich, and takes at least a little pride in his job. Most of the people who work here are gossipy 30-something Hispanic ladies or fresh from high school, completely vapid ghetto chicks who stand around harping about how many shitty kids they have and what trouble they’re in. It’s like that scene from Goodfellas if the ladies in the movie were poor and working dead end jobs. I understand the place sucks… I understand that most people, myself included, would probably do a half ass job if working there. But, seriously, there’s a certain standard you should hold yourself to and these people should be ashamed of themselves. I asked one girl for ‘lots of lettuce’ and she barely sprinkled it on… I say, ‘more lettuce, please’ and she adds like three flakes of lettuce. Don’t get me wrong, I understand this is ridiculously nit picky but it drives me out of my mind. They’re not taking the extra lettuce out of your check! You clearly don’t give a shit about your job so why are you trying to save the owners money by cheating me out of the cheapest thing on the sandwich? Ugh. I’ve been here a few times but it’s only because I’m currently sans car and downtown Burbank doesn’t really cater to cyclists in terms of layout or topography. I don’t know why anyone would be reading this, the only people who’ll see it are those who gave them their money and came here to complain about it but if you are, go anywhere else. Even the MSG filled food from the Chinese place( ) next door is money better spent. Awful food and awful service, even by Subway’s standards. If I could give .5 Stars I would.

Do not go to this branch! They obviously don’t care about the customer. I ordered a cup of water with my sandwich because I was trying to save some cash and when the water dispenser didn’t work I notified the manager to see if I could get a cup of water from her. She said«Oh, that’s the way it is» and looked away. I had to buy a cup of soda because she refused to help me. I understand this might seem ridiculous, but I would say that a sandwich chain should at least try to keep customers happy when they can easily go elsewhere like quiznos across the street.
